I needed flowers for a funeral, but I hate funeral flowers. The arrangement they sent was absolutely beautiful, and the recipient says they are still nice a week later. I ordered them a day in advance and they were there on time for an 11:00am service. Highly recommend!

I called them to ensure that my mom's casket spray was the correct one, and they were very kind and helpful. She told me it was going to be at the funeral home at 8, and when I got there, the flowers were already there. I also added extra pink and white roses, and they did it. Beautiful arrangement. The first attempt was my fault but second was not. Delivery driver states that she delivered to the house next-door, which was my mom‘s Landlord, which was not true.. other than that the flowers were beautiful.

The online picture is stunning, however, the flowers that were delivered were lacking. The amount of flowers in the delivery were definitely not as full as the picture. There weren’t any ribbons in the delivery either. A little disappointing since I live across the country and chose a florist local to the delivery instead of a corporate entity. A plus is that the flowers did look fresh.

I ordered online on a Saturday evening while the shop is closed for the weekend, a Exquisite Tribute standing spray for a funeral that was going to take place on Monday morning, at 9:30 am, that left them with one hour and and half to create it! I asked them to cancel the order, if they couldn't deliver on time. I was quite surprised and truly appreciated the effort they did to deliver it on time.
I'm sure that if I would have given them more time, that the standing spray would have had more flowers on it, but quite understood.

I have used Messmer Florist in the past with excellent results, so it was an easy decision on whom to use for this occasion. I ordered the Tropical Paradise Bouquet online late the night before my desired delivery date. I was a little uncomfortable wondering whether I had ordered in time for delivery the following day, so I called to confirm the next morning. The lady who answered (who was super nice) assured me the flowers were going out for delivery between 12:30 and 3. My wife received a text regarding the delivery and rushed back to our condo to accept a wonderful arrangement of tropical flowers. She was ecstatic. Overpriced and these roses I got for my mother were a couple days old not the freshest yet still $130. The vase in the picture is way nicer than what you’ll get in person. When I called the store, the employee was very quick in telling me it was my fault for not giving better instructions for delivery. When ordering online there was no place that requested a delivery time only the date. This was a very emotional day for me and I think the employee could have shown a bit of empathy and kindness instead of being rude and dismissive. Regardless of how the arrangement looked, I would not use this company again. I paid for the more expensive florist based on the customer reviews and quality of product, but I would take a less quality for a bit of kindness and grace.

Beautiful arrangement yet I ordered the above in premium but light pink roses were included. I recognize not all flowers available at same time yet the colour combination is what was being purchased. Additionally the arrangement looked like the picture but I paid for premium so not seeing where the additional flowers and greenery were in the end result. Literally, just as I had saw they were closed, I was called to see if I was still coming. She waited 15 minutes after close to allow me to pick them up. I was very disappointed when my friend sent me the photo of the flower arrangement I selected. It was $40.00 for the flowers plus $12.95 for delivery to the hospital plus tax. I live in Texas, these were to a friend in Florida, you never really know when you pick something if it is going to turn out, or even if it's going to get there. Well these flowers were gorgeous, for a best friend who lost her husband suddenly. I'm not sure what happened to the flowers. It said they were delivered to the church on 8 Jan. I later found out the church was closed that day. When I attended the service the next day, the flowers were no where in sight. Not sure if it was an issue with the church or the delivery.

Normally, when we send flowers via the internet, we’ll use the national internet companies... but there are always extra costs that show up in the checkout that make you ask yourself how the price is almost double the initial price. I ordered the basic bouquet without upgrading it, and I have to tell you was fuller and had more flowers than the picture shows! She was THRILLED. The flowers were so healthy and alive after 3 days we had the nurses give the bouquet to someone alone who hadn't gotten flowers or visitors - it looked like they had just been delivered. This was my first time ordering through Ruth Messmer Florist, and it was an outstanding experience. I was sending to someone in the hospital but they were in ICU. The florist continuously called to see if the person was moved to a regular room before delivering. The person ended up going home, so they were nice enough to reroute the flowers to their home. I submitted my order at 8:30 a.m. to do something nice for my wife, but even though the delivery location was 1.62 miles away the flowers weren’t delivered until 2:30 p.m. which defeated the purpose of a random flower delivery on a Monday morning.

The flowers were not inside for visitation. When called we were told they were left outside. You had called my phone instead of funeral home at 8:14 in the morning. The funeral home says they did their opening and walk around at 7:50, no outside delivery then. The arrangements were beautiful, the delivery was poor.
