Rockford Flower Shop opened in 1952 and has been a trusted business staple in downtown Rockford ever since. We strive to create beautiful floral designs with fragrant flowers that please the senses of all our recipients. Our floral designers prioritize fresh, artistic, imaginative floral designs, incorporating themes, textures and accents inspired by nature. All of our floral arrangements are designed on site and the arrangements pictured on our website are the exact arrangements you or your recipient will receive. In keeping with these busy and changing times we've made purchasing from us fast & convenient for you. Ordering online is easier than ever, especially when your day is already crowded with other activities. When you choose to pick up your flowers from us you don't even have to get out of your car or find a parking spot. Just call us when you have arrived at our back door and we bring your flower order out to you in your car. We love what we do and are dedicated to each and every one of our customers. Sister loved the fresh flower arrangement. I appreciated the photo preview before delivery...never had that before. Only ( slight!) issue was her last name spelled wrong. Was correct on order form when sent. However to be fair she has a very common last name with usual spelling....people constantly " correct" the spelling! Kind of a family joke now lol.

Unfortunately, I was less than satisfied. The arrangement is lovely but pricey for the size. I opted to pick up the arrangement and the process was cumbersome. Going to a back alley, with no parking and a few delivery trucks around was not ideal. The arrangement wasn’t in a box, nor was it covered in any way; it was very vulnerable in the windy conditions present that day particularly since I had to walk to my car. I understand all the precautions we need to take because of Covid and support them. However, unless Rockford Flowershop changes some of their procedures, I won’t be going back. I have tried to “buy local” especially during this difficult time, but this merchant has made it more difficult than it should be.

The flowers themselves were identical to the picture I ordered from on line. It appeared hydrangea was substituted for figi mums, which is fine because I requested low odor flowers. It was beautiful, but l was slightly disappointed that it lacked the circular "loops" made with long, thin leaves....one of the things I liked about the featured display I selected. My daughter-in-law loved fhem, so that's all that counts.

I loved the posted example of tuscan sun however the substituted flowers totally changed the appearance of the arrangement and while it was a nice arrangement I was very disappointed with the substitution. The original example had vibrant ombre colors reflective of the southwest and the Substituted arrangement was nothing like the example.

I was very unhappy with the bouquet. It wasnt very full and colorful as picture shown on line. I spoke with manager and she would do nothing to make me feel better about the situation. She went on to say we can pick it up and refund your money. I mean come on the person has received it already. And that supplies are low bc of covid, nothing positive beside we replaced the flowers with ones we had to equal the same value. I spend 85 bucks I would of thought the business could of try to do something to make the customer feel better about the situation. So upsetting.

Our card was not filled out correctly so it caused
a lot of confusion because Rockford Flower Shop did not complete the card to have a sender and so no one knew who the flowers were from. I was so
disappointed when the family contacted me to say they saw no flowers from me. I had to call the next morning and have them correct it and bring a new card. Still very sad about it. This is the second time they have dropped the ball. Ordered flowers for my son's homecoming date last fall and they fell apart before she ever got to the dance! I love to use local but this gives me great reason to doubt that choice again.

I am sadly disappointed. The photo of the flower arrangement that was emailed to me from the Rockford Flower Shop does not look like the arrangement I ordered. Everything from the color of the roses and daisies, to there not being and tulip in the arrangement at all. They also did a substitution of the greenery that looked like it was wilting not supple and ivy looking like in this photo. My neighbor likes pink flowers...pink roses , pink tulips, etc. My neighbor just had knee surgery so I thought I would cheer her up with some pink and white flowers. None of the flowers in the arrangement ended up being pink. The roses ended up being violet. The daisy type flower ended up being peach colored. No tulips in the arrangement at all. I upgraded the arrangement as well from $90.00 to $110.00 making it $127.55 (tax + delivery). I feel the arrangement was not what I paid for and way overpriced. Next time I order flowers in the Rockford, MI area, I will go through FTD's website to order as in the past, what you see there is what gets delivered.

WHEN I SHOWED UP TO PICK UP THE CORSAGE IT WAS NOT LIKE THE PICTURE ONLINE. IT WAS SUPPOSE TO BE A GERBERA DAISY. THE ONE THEY HANDED ME WAS WHAT SHE CALLED A PETITE DAISY THAT HAD SEVERAL LAYERS OF PETALS AND SHE SAID THAT MADE IT HARDIER. I EXPLAINED THIS TO THE LADY AND SHE JUST KEPT SAYING HOW PRETTY IT WAS AND MADE NO ATTEMPT TO MAKE ME HAPPY. I FINALLY LEFT SAYING THAT I GUESS THERE WAS NOTHING I COULD DO AND THAT THEY SHOULD CHANGE THEIR PICTURE ONLINE TO REFLECT WHAT YOU WERE ACTUALLY BUYING. I HAD BROUGHT MY SON AND WHEN WE WALKED OUT HE SAID TO ME, "MOM THEY DIDN'T EVEN SAY SORRY". HE'S A 8 YEAR OLD AND NOTICED THIS, KINDA SAD THAT HE HAS BETTER MANNERS THEN THEM. I TRY TO BUY LOCAL AND I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN.

While the final arrangement was nice, it did not resemble this colorful piece nor did it appear to be worth the cost paid in comparison to the piece I thought I had purchased (granted, I don't know flowers well enough nor costs associated with each kind). The image shared here has many more flowers and much more color compared to the final piece which had more of a "green look" and less flowers (wish I could share an image of the piece that was delivered). It wasn't horrible, just not what I was expecting and a bit lack luster. The shop was quick to get the delivery made which was greatly appreciated. And the recipient was happy.

Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.
Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received
cut-off times for same-day delivery that are based off of the recipient’s time zone.
Florists that offer same-day delivery display their same-day delivery cut-off time in
