About the Shop
Ribbons & Roses is located in the heart of Brentwood's Historic Downtown. It was born in 1991 and has been a fixture here in our little community. In 2007 Diane O'Brien purchased R&R and updated its look and style to be a total reflection her unique floral sensibility. R&R is dedicated to making quality, hand-crafted arrangements. Each arrangement is custom made to suit any occasion and we are committed to working with you to create a one-of-a-kind piece you are sure to love.
R&R offers same day local delivery to Brentwood, Discovery Bay, Byron, Oakley, and parts of Antioch. We also offer destination delivery for Weddings and Events. We we are more than happy to go as far as your event takes us!
Substitution Policy
In some instances, the florists’ photo may represent an overall theme or look and include a one-of-a-kind vase which cannot be exactly replicated. Although the actual bouquet may not precisely match the photo, its temperament will. Occasionally, substitutions of flowers or containers happen due to weather, seasonality and market conditions which may affect availability. If this is the case with the gift you've selected, the local florist will ensure that the style, theme and color scheme of your arrangement is preserved and will only substitute items of equal or higher value.
Delivery Policy
Every gift ordered through BloomNation is personally hand-delivered by the local florist. Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.
Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received cut-off times for same-day delivery that are based off of the recipient’s time zone. Florists that offer same day delivery display their same-day delivery cut-off time in their store detail section. Orders received after that time may be delivered the following day. Please note some florists may not make deliveries on Sunday.
To request a specific delivery time, please type it into the Special Instructions field during checkout. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences. Before major holidays, we recommend that you place your orders at least five days in advance.

I like that I received an email confirmation of my order, and an email that my plant was delivered. I received a thank you, and picture, from the recipient, and the plant was exactly as I order - a medium size (versus small or large). I'm very pleased with the service provided by Ribbons and Roses. I would recommend Ribbons and Roses to others, and will certainly use them for future pland/flower delivery. Could not be a more satisified customer.
