Ribbons and Roses
Ribbons & Roses is located in the heart of Brentwood's Historic Downtown. It was born in 1991 and has been a fixture here in our little community. In 2007 Diane O'Brien purchased R&R and updated its look and style to be a total reflection her unique floral sensibility. R&R is dedicated to making quality, hand-crafted arrangements. Each arrangement is custom made to suit any occasion and we are committed to working with you to create a one-of-a-kind piece you are sure to love. R&R offers same day local delivery to Brentwood, Discovery Bay, Byron, Oakley, and parts of Antioch. We also offer destination delivery for Weddings and Events. We we are more than happy to go as far as your event takes us!

Decided to try a new shop and I was not impressed. I paid for the premium bouquet and received the standard as pictured. Was disappointed to see that the two roses that were included were already past full bloom. Will not order from here again.

The roses I selected were actually garden roses which have a naturally fuller look than standard roses. Additionally, more hydrangea was also used along with additional premium flowers. The upgraded version does look like it's standard version just with more product and higher end blooms. Again, we are sorry you were disappointed as we wish to make all our customer super happy when sending the gift of flowers. Above and beyond. I placed an order online on and entered the incorrect delivery address. Also, that day internet was down. Once I was able to reach the store, they were kind enough to go back to the incorrect address and redeliver to the correct address the next day. Thank you for your wonderful customer service.

I was a little disappointed in the arrangement. The picture online was beautiful and full. Description for price was "Bouquet will be delivered approximately as pictured". There was no baby's breath and I don't think the color of the vase worked with the color of the flowers.

First off, The flowers were amazing! My wife really liked the arrangement. Even when they ran out of the colored roses they called and made sure it was ok to use another flower type to replace it with. Then, after one of their employees had to leave on a medical emergency, they still made sure to take care of their customers. I was seriously impressed with their dedication to customer service and quality of work. I hope everyone is ok and thank you for the amazing flower arrangement.

Thank you Ribbons & Roses. I ordered a deluxe arrangement for my mom. I put in the special instructions “no lilys” as my mom is allergic. The bouquet that was delivered came with 5 lilys so my mom call the store front. They came back out an delivered an upgraded bouquet and took the one containing lilys back!

I paid the upgrade fee as I thought it would contain a couple of extra roses, but it didn't . Just some other type of flower. The regular fee would have been fine as I only got 12 roses.

This place is AMAZING! Late one night I ordered some flowers for a friend who needed a pick me up. First thing the next morning the owner called to tell me they did not have one of the flowers displayed in the websites picture and asked if I was okay with her substituting to something equally as beautiful. Not only was the bouquet that arrived absolutely stunning, it arrived within a couple of hours. This shop really knows how to provide excellent customer service and a beautiful product. Unfortunately, my order (which included a $15 delivery fee) was delivered to the wrong address. I ordered this sympathy plant for my mom who lives in a mobilehome park. Sadly, the plant was delivered to another mobilehome park on a different street. Luckily, the man who inadvertently received the plant went out of his way to deliver it to my mom. I’m really glad she ended up getting it, but I don’t understand how it went to the wrong park when the address on the gift was 100% correct. As for the plant, it was beautiful and in a nice pot. My mom really liked it.

Actual arrangement was close enough to the picture to meet expectations, and it was beautiful.
I made the purchase at 11am and it was delivered around 1pm. Granted, the shop is close to the delivery site, but still amazing responsiveness! The receipt was helpful, and I got updates on the delivery.

The flowers arrived on Friday in beautiful condition, however within a day some of the roses were starting to droop. They were for Valentine’s Day (which is today) and six of the dozen are drooping and looking quite sad. Roses I have given in the past (from a different florist) have lasted a week without drooping.

It would been been nice To get what I paid for. I'm not sure how you go From showing me a picture of pink pastel light green colored flowers then sending dark purple ugly yellow weird looking bocquet nothing like the photo. I was embarrassed that was sent to my mother. NEVER will use you again! I can't believe how much I paid for that crap.

I sent flowers to my mom for the one year passing of my dad, as I wasn’t able to be with her on that day. After I placed the order online, I got a call from the florist who asked if she could make a special arrangement for my mom, I told her that I was fine with that. They went out of their way to get the flowers to my daughter and her husband for their anniversary. I had writing the address wrong and they called me to get it corrected. The flowers were really exceptional. They loved them and said the arrangement was really beautiful. I think I found my florist in Brentwood and my daughter and son in law said the same thing. Every gift ordered through BloomNation is personally hand-delivered by the local florist.
Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.
Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received
cut-off times for same-day delivery that are based off of the recipient’s time zone.
Florists that offer same-day delivery display their same-day delivery cut-off time in
their store detail section. Orders received after that time may be delivered the
following day. Please note some florists may not make deliveries on Sunday.
To request a specific delivery time, please type it into the Special Instructions field
during checkout. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences.
