We are a real florist right in Peoria, Illinois and have been serving the Greater Peoria area for over 60 years (the last 40 in same family). We take great pride in our work. Fun and creative and fresh flowers! We also take great pride in our delivery process and are very dependable. When you place an order online, the owner gets a text message immediately with the details of your order. I have been in the business pretty much all of my life, with my parents owning Prospect Florist since 1982. I take pride in the business we have built along the way. I am very active in the business. I do everything here from answering phone calls, designing the flowers, routing the drivers... even taking out the garbage! So not much happens here without me either having a part in it or overseeing it, and I think that is important! So if you are needing flowers in Peoria, Illinois, you found the right florist! We specialize in flower delivery and plants too!

You will be billed 5 days before the delivery schedule you select (either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly). This is to ensure your florist will have adequate time to prepare your order.
How do I make changes to my subscription plan?
You can call the florist any time before the scheduled delivery or pickup date to make changes to your subscription plan and orders.
Can I pause my subscription plan?
Yes, you can! contact us at (309) 688-3421, let us know the next best delivery date and we’ll pause your subscription.
How do I cancel my subscription plan?

I ordered the tulips and they don't have the same number of tulips stands as in the photo and it's not as full as the photo (did not include all of the advertised foliage) I also asked if they could add a ribbon and they did not. I was happy to find a florist close to where I wanted the arrangement delivered, and that they had a terrific selection from which to choose. My friend is absolutely delighted with the arrangement (and the picture she sent me is quite similar to what is represented on the website). My only quibble is that - in order to get an alert when the delivery has been made - I would have had to sign up for advertisements & other texts, which I don’t want. There should be an option to simply get an alert upon delivery. Aside from that, FANTASTIC arrangement; my friend couldn’t be more pleased. Thank you.

I didn’t actually see the purchase in person as it was sent to my niece for her birthday. Got word from her when she got home how special it was and made her day to get them. She was in the hospital all day with her mom who has stage 4 liver cancer, so to come home after what was a stressful and exhausting day and have them there waiting, brought her some joy. Quite honestly I was disappointed this time. I have used Prospect florist for several years to send bouquets to my mother who is in assisted-living. They have always been beautiful. Disappointed that I spent $250 on a custom arrangement and it wasn’t even close to what I envisioned. I placed the order one month in advance and send a picture to reference the COLORS that I wanted and you failed to deliver on that. The colors are far from what I wanted (blue/baby blue & white) instead I got white, dark purple and a light purple almost baby blue flower. I didn’t ask for specifics on the types of flowers to use, I just wanted the right colors. I’m in California so in all reality there isn’t much I can do. It reflected beautifully the sentiment we were hoping to convey, which is difficult in a long-distance situation. I ordered flowers for my sister at OSF St. Frances Hospital. Prospect Florist (Julie) checked with the hospital before delivering them. The florist was advised that my sister was in an area where she could not receive any fresh flowers. Julie advised that they would be happy to check on my sister daily and deliver them when she gets moved to a regular room, if I would like. I told Julie that would be wonderful. What a great service this is. I did not know a florist would do this. In addition, the flowers are very affordable. Ordering online was easy and straightforward, but you do have to put all your information before it gives you an estimate of how much it would cost with tax, delivery, etc. I placed the order that day before the delivery. My only wish is that the flowers had been delivered earlier in the day so my mom could have had more time to appreciate them. I don't think they were delivered until after 5:30pm EST. I didn't get an update about them until I gave the shop a call. Then I got an email a few hours later and then notification that they were delivered a few hours after that. Other than the later than expected delivery, everything was great!

I found ordering online was very user friendly. I liked that I was sent a preview of the arrangment I ordered before it was delivered. My only complaint is that the delivery driver left the flowers at the back door. The flowers were a surprise for my mother who is elderly and very ill. Around 3:30pm I received a notification that the arrangment I ordered had been delivered. I found it very strange that by 6:30pm I still had not received a phone call from my mother very excited about the surprise I sent her. I called my mother and she said she was home all day and hadn’t received anything. I figured a mistake had been made and I’d just call the florist in the morning. My mother gave me a call back around 8pm and said she decided to check her back doorstep. My mother is 74 years old and she does not walk very well due to her illness. She checked her back doorstep and saw the flowers. She tried bending down to get them and ended up falling right out the back door.

The photo of the arrangement that was sent was a nice touch but it also showed that the green berries (as I call them) were not part of the arrangement that was delivered. This is the third time in two weeks I have had flowers. Each time, the delivery was very timely and the flower arrangements were better then expected. But this last time, the standard arrangement had 3 roses, I spent the extra $10 to get the deluxe arrangement thinking I may get 1 extra rose and some additional greenery. I choose this arrangement because of the dramatic look and height of the gladiolus and the pretty white wicker basket not for the very common carnations. Unfortunately, the gladiolus were replaced with thin, short, half-blooming snapdragons and the white basket was replaced with a green plastic bucket which looked like a liner container. That plastic bucket didn't look great on the alter. Overall, I'm not pleased. Doesn't every florist shop have white baskets?? I understand the need to substitute a type of flower at times but the main attraction of this display is the gladiolus flowers they should have been replaced with equally dramatic flowers.

The flowers that were delivered looked just like the ones in the photo on their website. I got an email with a photo of the flowers when they were ready and then another email when they were delivered. It was really great service and they couldn't have been nicer. I will definitely use them again.

I love that I could place the order online and order flowers locally. It was a huge bonus to have email confirmation of my order, delivery, and BEST of all a photo of the actual arrangement. Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.
Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received
