Papillon Floral
Art over Assembly Line Our flowers are cut fresh, conditioned, arranged by us and delivered to you from flower farms in California, not shipped and cold stored across thousands of miles. Papillon Floral Design is not affiliated with typical shipped flowers from an 800 service or the supermarket. Each arrangement is a hand-crafted work of art. Which means you can enjoy the happiness flowers bring with peace of mind, knowing you are contributing to the beauty of your environment vs. the negative impact of commercial flowers. With this in mind, we offer mostly seasonal "designer's choice" designs, allowing our customers to choose a desired color palette and feel. Our customers choose to order with us over and over knowing we'll always provide something fresh, unique, sustainable, and stunning within the color palette they select. This supports our philosophy of art over assembly line, which allows us to buy only what's fresh and in-season. This also allows us as designers to stay flexible and creative in our work. We love working with our customers and your trust and belief in us means everything.

We source all items as sustainably as possible – during flower season, we use only local farms, local growers and seasonal flowers. We never use floral foam, and we are committed to spreading awareness for natural and sustainable floral practices.

The flowers delivered were lovely, my daughter sent me a photo. i ordered an upgraded bouquet and the photo she sent showed a fairly smallish bouquet. So, I am a little disappointed in the size and number of flowers used on this "deluxe" bouquet. Also, a little disappointed that they charged $18 to deliver in the same town. I went with a local florist because they are local. A lot of online florists delivered for free, so I was disappointed in that. But, they delivered them on time and they look fresh, so, for that, 4 stars.

Several years ago, the nice people at Papillon saved me by processing a last minute bouquet for my girlfriend. The delivery was timely, and the presentation was gorgeous. I have been using Papillon since, and I have never been disappointed. Most recently, they put together (and timely delivered) a beautiful Valentines Day arrangement that my girlfriend loved. I ordered online and at the time it said delivery would take a week. I called the next day and they kindly explained the reasoning but were able to adjust it so that they were delivered the next day. They also followed up by phone when certain expected flowers weren't available and made sure I was happy with their recommended substitutes. Everything was handled with care and great communication.

The service was excellent! I had accidentally given an incorrect address and they called me to let me know they weren’t finding the street I gave. I was mortified but they said it was absolutely no problem! I gave them a new address and they quickly rerouted. They were so kind about the mistake. I had very high hopes because this business was recommended by someone I trust very much. Also, I have seen multiple arrangements in person and they were absolutely stunning. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. Arrangement looked nothing as advertised and the flowers were all dead. Good customer service though!

In my decades of buying flowers this is likely the first time the actual flower arrangement looked *better* than pictured. Most importantly, my life absolutely loves them. And I originally had set them for delivery on one day but had to change it; I emailed Papillon my somewhat last minute request and they called me back saying it was no problem and they made the change. I will for sure by from them in the future, and you should too!

I purchased the deluxe designer’s choice arrangement for a friend. She sent me a picture when it arrived and it is smaller than the standard arrangement shown in the photo. I also did not care for the arrangement, there is a neon pink flower in the middle that is a total eye sore. Also no text update to my phone about the delivery. I would have been happier with the flowers from Trader Joes and saved a lot more money.

When I wanted to thank my host in Santa Rosa, I thought first of Papillon and checked their online store for help. I even received a phone call from the person who delivered when a slight hiccup occurred (which was my error). When the recipient of the flowers sent me a photo of the arrangement, I was disappointed. The flowers were not the same as the pictured arrangement. Clearly, an attempt to replicate the arrangement with substitute flowers was made. However, in general, given the price that I paid for an upgrade, the arrangement was underwhelming. It is difficult to order flowers from afar when you are unfamiliar with the florists and must rely on photos and reviews to make a decision. Although the bouquet arrived on time, fresh, and smelled divine according to my friend, I was astonished to see photos of an arrangement that looked nothing like the photo on Papillon's website. What she received looked like a menagerie of leftovers and weeds hastily thrown together. Considering the delicate nature of this gift, I am glad she could find joy in the aromas and look past the arrangement itself. Times are tough for many, and it breaks my heart that I cannot recommend Papillon at this time. Also, I wish I could add a photo to this comment to illustrate the difference between what I bought and what was delivered.

Papillon Floral brings joy and delight wherever they go! You aren't going to get the cookie-cutter bouquets you see on other flower sites. Their arrangements are very special and unique, and they actually SMELL like real flowers, which is very important to me. Most flowers these days are bred to be pretty, but don't smell like anything.

where to start, as I live in Nevada. I went online and saw the examples of your work, the 5 star review and how easily it could be done online. You asked for telephone numbers and special directions. When the delivery person was unable to open the gate or reach the residents by phone, they called me for alternate numbers. Where do i start?! First flowers were artistic and fresh & lovely arrangement! Recipient was THRILLED with this arrangement from Papillion :)they delivered timely and sent me a notification which is welcomed. I used a different florist not that long ago ( a couple weeks earlier) I wont use again bc i wasn't notified of delivery so I never knew it arrived- and on top of that the note i sent with it wasn't attached so my recipient never knew who sent them. It was for a work anniversary- and her husband and entire family was stumped on the mystery flowers sent to her. I had to finally ask her which was embarrassing- hey did you receive the flower the company sent? ---THIS WAS NOT THE CASE WITH PAPILLION! This is NOW my GO TO for arrangements!
