Product Description
This item's unique design comes from the hermit crab. These strange and beautiful creatures live in muddy seabeds, on land in tree caves, and under rocky ledges. They have hard pincers but soft middles with no outward protection. Because of this, they use their hooked tails to hold and wear shells they find that are of an appropriate size. They live for up to 70 years and can get over 12 inches long!
The biggest issue of the production process was combining the elements that made the outward appearance of the hermit crab in a way that also made a functional bottle opener. We kept adjusting the angle of the crab's two cheeks and the snap of the conch.

Substitution Policy
In some instances, the florists’ photo may represent an overall theme or look and include a one-of-a-kind vase which cannot be exactly replicated. Although the actual bouquet may not precisely match the photo, its temperament will. Occasionally, substitutions of flowers or containers happen due to weather, seasonality and market conditions which may affect availability. If this is the case with the gift you've selected, the local florist will ensure that the style, theme and color scheme of your arrangement is preserved and will only substitute items of equal or higher value.
Delivery Policy
Every gift ordered through BloomNation is personally hand-delivered by the local florist. Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.
Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received cut-off times for same-day delivery that are based off of the recipient’s time zone. Florists that offer same day delivery display their same-day delivery cut-off time in their store detail section. Orders received after that time may be delivered the following day. Please note some florists may not make deliveries on Sunday.
To request a specific delivery time, please type it into the Special Instructions field during checkout. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences. Before major holidays, we recommend that you place your orders at least five days in advance.
