Oroville Flower Shop
Oroville flower shop was established in 1951 by Jim and Betty Ryan, Jim Smith bought from them in the 70's then he sold the business to his daughter Julie Jackson in 1998. Julie sold the business to Jeremy & Emily Jackson, son and daughter in law in 2022. Emily is the current owner with 3 full time designers and 1 full time delivery driver. This business is family owned and operated we may be closed for holidays in order to spend time with our families.

Our subscriptions allow you to select a delivery frequency that best suits your needs - either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.
How often will I be billed?
You will be billed 5 days before the delivery schedule you select (either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly). This is to ensure your florist will have adequate time to prepare your order.
How do I make changes to my subscription plan?
You can call the florist any time before the scheduled delivery or pickup date to make changes to your subscription plan and orders.
Can I pause my subscription plan?
Yes, you can! contact us at (530) 533-6616, let us know the next best delivery date and we’ll pause your subscription.
How do I cancel my subscription plan?
We’d be happy to take care of that for you! Please contact us at (530) 533-6616 and we’ll cancel your subscription right away.

They did everything right. There was trouble connecting with the party they were being delivered to (they were out) but Oroville Flower Shop tried to call them when they weren't home, let me know that they were missed and offered options for getting the flowers to them. This was my first time using Oroville's Flower Shop since the new owners took over. I ordered the "Designer's Choice - Deluxe" and in the special instructions I just put what colors I wanted, and what flowers my friend that I was sending them to liked and what she didn't like. I even requested a certain color of vase. Unfortunately, my friend that they were delivering to was not home at the time so they called me and asked what I would like them to do. They ended up taking them back to the shop to put in the cooler because it was way too hot outside to leave. I showed up to pick them up and was so happy with the outcome. They went above and beyond and really paid attention to my requested details. I will definitely be using them in the future. Thank you!

Sent this bouquet to my daughter for her birthday and also with the request to be sent before noon. She was pleased with the flowers and I had her send me a picture of the bouquet I thought I was getting for her and ended up being what she received, I was very happy with results. I was, to be direct, disappointed in the arrangement delivered. I expected something fuller, with more flowers. From the photo sent to me by a relative, I counted only 9 stems. Some of the flowers were not yet open, which I know can be the case. Perhaps it was only the photo as taken (one side only?). Please know, the family receiving it deemed the arrangement to be lovely, so I will just accept the fact I did not see it in person and get over my disappointment.

My mom loved her flowers! They turned out so good, quite a bit less flowers than the photo a more/ different greenery than expected but overall she received them on time and loved the flowers. I ordered from Arizona and chose this bouquet because she loves carnations. I do wish there were more spring options with colorful carnations. The chocolates are definitely overpriced but added a nice touch.

Sent wilted flowers in a sympathy bouquet, and when I reached out to them, they asked for pictures. When the pictures were sent, their response was to ask for a review. I had to apologize to the recipient for their flowers.

Delivered to the wrong address. And got no phone call about finding my address. It was delivered to 11 and 10 is clearly written on the envelope on the package. It was a careless delivery attempt and glad the person it was delivered to brought it to the correct address.

There were multiple issues with this order and delivery!
1-I added a mylar balloon to the order and specifically stated this order was a birthday gift. When the order was delivered the mylar balloon was a Valentine's balloon.
2-The order was delivered to the incorrect address/person. I verified the order, and the correct address was provided by me. It is my understanding the order had to be made again.
3-When the order was finally delivered to the correct address/person the flower arrangement did not look like this picture. There were very few flowers the arrangement was mostly greenery. This was very disappointing especially since I paid additional money to upgrade the arrangement.
4-I spoke to one of your employees on the delivery day and they offered to deliver the correct balloon and some additional flowers that could be added to the arrangement. The balloon was fine but there were 3 additional flowers (carnations) delivered which was very underwhelming to say the least!! Very disappointing!

The driver, Rhonda, attempted delivery and unfortunately my mom was running errands so Rhonda called me to let me know and I let her know that I would just pick them up and deliver them to my mom..Rhonda called me about an hour later and told me she’d delivered them..what a wonderful surprise! The flowers were delivered in a timely manner. Ordering online was very user friendly. The roses were fresh and beautiful. The only reason it did not get 5 stars is because they used only one type of greenery, I think since we only used one type of flower the greenery could have had 2 different kinds to give it more of a pop like in the photo. But just my opinion. The arrangement is still beautiful.

The "Designer's Choice" was a gamble, and I lost. I had no idea what I was going to order, but for the price of $55.00- not including tax and delivery fees, the flower arrangement was very disappointing. It looked like maybe a $15.00 flower arrangement. It looked like my mom got all the dead leftovers from Valentines day. Most of the flowers died in a few days. The owner was on a personal call and I had to wait to complain to her. This was really expensive. With delivery charge and tax it ran to 85$. When the arrangement arrived my sister snapped a pic and honestly? Beautiful, but small with less blooms and more greenery than what was expected. My mom is really happy with the flowers and loved the surprise of them. But I wish there'd been more actual flowers, less green filler, or that it had been less expensive for what was received.

This bouquet was ordered for an out of town family funeral. Since we couldn’t attend in person, we watched live streaming from the church. We were so embarrassed when they panned over the floral arrangements sent. Ours was, by far, the smallest arrangement there, even though we ordered the middle size and the total with shipping was like $83. we felt humiliated.
That’s what happens when one orders directly from an in town florist. We are completely saddened and embarrassed. Thank goodness they were the only family living there.

My friend received a nice arrangement but it wasn’t as perfect as pictured gem because the roses were red/pink, large and clashed a bit with the ribbon and it appears that there were mums mixed in with daisies. For such a pricey arrangement, I was very disappointed. I sent a bouquet of roses for my wife’s birthday. My wife, a person that notices and admires the beauty in bouquet arrangements was very disappointed. The bouquet she received was nothing of an arranged bouquet, it was merely a bunch of roses thrown into a vase and filled full with baby’s breath. It appears the chosen vase was too big for the size of the flowers, causing the roses to fall every which way, then the empty spaces were filled full of baby’s breath. I could have purchased a bunch of roses and threw it together in a vase for a better arrangement. This is totally unacceptable.

I’m disappointed, this was a Mother’s Day gift for my aunt. And I don’t expect the flowers match 100%. But what my aunt received was off by a lot. The bow was different as well there was only couple of the long purple flowers and it just looked like the flowers my aunt got, was done in hurry, wasn’t matching the pics. But it was delivered on the date I wanted it to be delivered, the flowers arnt wilted. The water looks fresh. And it was hand delivered like I asked so that made me happy. I ordered a bouquet for my GF to be delivered to her at work the following day. At the close of business she had not received it. I called the shop and it turned out it had been mistakenly delivered to an adjacent suite. They asked if they could go pick it up and deliver it but I was too late. I ordered flowers to be delivered to my mother (I’ve ordered from here before and live out of state) for her birthday. They were delivered on time and no issues with finding her house. Unfortunately, after my mom recieved them she noticed most of the flowers looked old, dry and the entire arrangement smelled bad. She called your shop and was very nice but wanted something to be done about the poor quality, not the usual from this florist shop. The arrangement was picked up and a new one was made promptly. She was very please with the new flowers and I’m happy it was made right. My issue is why wasn’t this caught before it left the shop? Thank you for making her birthday arrangement right but please take extra care before they are delivered.

Although in the description and in the picture it did not say anything about how many roses here was in the bouquet, my wife only received 11 roses, which you would think there should have been 12 (or a dozen). The bouquet was poorly put together, it did not look like any time, effort, or thought was put into making it look nice. For the price of this unit and truffles I bought with it they should have spent a little more time and effort to make it neater. I am a big supporter of local businesses and small business, but I regret I should have gone to Raley's and got a better deal and a dozen roses instead of 11.
An automated follow up email asked me to write a review and I was going to give it an honest 3 (2.5 is more accurate) stars but now it won't even let me post it. So I'm dropping it to 2 stars for wasting my time.

Over all the wife loved the flowers and I was impressed with the colors, but when she sent me a picture I was also disappointed. The item online that I was buying shows 2 large roses and 5 smaller roses. The product my wife got had 2 roses, 2 sunflowers and carnations.
