Welcome to Occasions Florist your full service florist, located in the historic, downtown Gainesville Georgia. We specialize in fresh flower bouquets for any occasion, wedding flowers and memorial flowers, as well as special events, party and holiday decorating. Our shop is family owned and operated with years of experience for all your floral needs. Specialized designs, with you in mind. Our goal is that each customer is completely satisfied.
Substitution Policy
In some instances, the florists’ photo may represent an overall theme or look and include a one-of-a-kind vase which cannot be exactly replicated. Although the actual bouquet may not precisely match the photo, its temperament will. Occasionally, substitutions of flowers or containers happen due to weather, seasonality and market conditions which may affect availability. If this is the case with the gift you've selected, the local florist will ensure that the style, theme and color scheme of your arrangement is preserved and will only substitute items of equal or higher value.
Delivery Policy
Every gift ordered through BloomNation is personally hand-delivered by the local florist. Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.
Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received cut-off times for same-day delivery that are based off of the recipient’s time zone. Florists that offer same day delivery display their same-day delivery cut-off time in their store detail section. Orders received after that time may be delivered the following day. Please note some florists may not make deliveries on Sunday.
To request a specific delivery time, please type it into the Special Instructions field during checkout. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences. Before major holidays, we recommend that you place your orders at least five days in advance.

I had such a wonderful experience with Nora at Occasions Florist in Gainesville! I had a same-day request that needed to be delivered the same day, and Nora could not have been more accommodating. From the very beginning, she had such a pleasant and reassuring demeanor, which immediately put me at ease. Not only did she guarantee that the flowers would be delivered on time, but she personally delivered them herself! The arrangement was absolutely beautiful—fresh, vibrant, and thoughtfully designed and the recipient was thrilled with them. It’s rare to find such genuine care and dedication to customer service, and Nora went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. I highly recommend Occasions Florist, and especially Nora, for anyone looking for stunning floral arrangements paired with exceptional service.
