I live in College Station. When I was looking for a birthday arrangement for my granddaughter who lives in San Antonio I came across Oak Hill Florist. I found what I wanted on their website and ordered the day before her birthday- so last minute. She was delighted with the flowers and said her coworkers were taking pictures of the flowers. It was easy to make the order and when I realized I had accidentally used the wrong address, it was really easy to change to the correct address and the flowers went to the right place. I saw a photo of the flower arrangement that was delivered and it was gorgeous!! Nicely done!

The bouquet looked skinny, hardly any flowers. I ordered the middle package, which was supposed to be extra flowers at $114 plus tax. It hardly had any roses and I can say there were no extra stems added as I ordered. They still delivered the same day. I do understand it won't look exactly like the picture but there were barely any flowers. If I could, I would upload a photo. It was terrible. I am embarrassed that my friend received them for her birthday. This is my second order. The first order they nailed it, the bouquet was gorgeous, but this order was extremely subpar. Very disappointed.

My experience was great with Oak Hills Florist. I wasn’t provided a “window” for when the flowers would be delivered so I was constantly checking my phone and ring for the delivery. One of the times I did check my camera on my door, I saw the delivery guy pass right by us w the flowers and I got a call from him not too long after. He said he was given the wrong apartment number. (I did input the correct apartment number when I filled out the information) and he was understanding and didn’t get annoyed about the error. The flowers were delivered as planned and even though of this small mishap, I definitely will use them again in the future! The flowers were beautiful!

Worst flowers ever. Roses were old. Green fill was old. Satisfaction guarantee is non existent. I called twice. Left a message with employee and a message on the owners voicemail. I also sent an email. No response. It’s been over a week. I do not recommend this florist. When you hear your wife say it’s the thought that counts that really is heartbreaking. Only 4 roses were included. I contacted the florist shop manager, who tried to tell me they make up an arrangement according to the “ value”, not the website photo, which clearly stated the arrangement paid for would look like the photo. She also had the audacity to ask if I wanted the arrangement taken away from my Mom.
Please know that before writing this negative review, I as a courtesy, tried first resolving this by phone. I was offered a $5.credit.
I obviously will not be giving them my business in the future. I don’t wish to patronize a business with such poor ethics and uncaring customer service.

I was so disappointed in the delivery. These beautiful flowers ended up sitting on my parents porch for four hours in the sun. There was no phone call made to them to let them know they were there. I wanted it to be a surprise for their 50th wedding anniversary but it was not as I had to ask “did you all get the flowers?”. They said “no”. Surprise failed.
I assumed that “hand delivered” meant just that—- it was delivered to their hands. Older clerk at the store was SO rude, as well. She could of, at least been pleasant. The umbrella plant was even larger and more beautiful than expected. Ordering was easy and delivery was made when expected. The whole process of selecting plant, ordering, payment and delivery arrangements was done seamlessly online. I ordered after store hours. I received this in a different pot. It was also missing the extra decorative spirals. They were kind and replaced it for me the same day but still had to use a different pot and it’s chipped. The moss doesn’t look very fresh. Very good customer service though!

I have ordered from this florist in the past and they have always delivered BEAUTIFUL flowers for my loves ones. My most recent order was for my mother's birthday, and only two flowers were a vibrant red and the rest had a dull orange hue. The flowers lasted a long time per usual, but I was disappointed with only two flowers being red as seen in the picture. Overall, I am still happy with this company and they still produce beautiful arrangements.

No question about it, the dozen yellow roses for my friends who recently lost their only child were just gorgeous and so appreciated. My only suggestion is that someone should have read the message I left in the place to write a note asking that you call to make sure someone was home prior to delivery which was not done. Fortunately, my friends arrived home minutes before your delivery - I was concerned about the possibility of them being left on the doorstep otherwise since it was a warm day. Otherwise, I ALWAYS us Oak Hills Florist because I am always pleased with your service and your product.

BEWARE OF UPGRADING YOUR ARRANGEMENT.
I went online and ordered an arrangement for my husband‘s granddaughter. It was a very special day for her and he wanted to acknowledge that.
The website gives you the option to upgrade to higher levels than what is pictured. We upgraded to premium. When the bouquet was delivered and we received a picture of what was sent, it definitely was not upgraded. Actually a little less than the standard picture.
I tried contacting the flower shop and it was closed. Voicemail was full so I was not able to leave a message. I waited until the shop opened on Monday morning and called. Anja/Onya (not sure of her correct name/spelling) answered the phone. I explain the situation to her and you would not believe her response! She stated that the $35 difference to upgrade was not done, due to “flowers cost more these days”.
When the so-called designer realized my mood went from being kind to extremely upset she apologized and said she did not mean that.
I honestly thought it was an oversight on the florist not realizing we chose to upgrade an additional $35 to premium, but after that comment I know it was not. She intentionally ripped off out-of-state customers thinking maybe we would not realize the arrangement was not upgraded.
I explain to her that I was not looking for a full refund I was only looking for the additional $35 I paid for a service I did not receive. She stated she would speak with the owner and contact me back. I will definitely be waiting and if I don’t hear back I will be disputing the difference with my bank who issued my credit card.
I will also be posting reviews all over Google with pictures of what was received versus what was pictured. I will definitely never order flowers from Oak Hills Florist again.

I learned that the delivery was made at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday. However, when no one answered the door, the driver simply left the flowers sitting outside in the warm weather. The flowers were not noticed by the recipient until noon, three hours later, and also the same time I had received email confirmation of the floral delivery. A photo of Thursday’s delivery shows rose buds more open than requested and also more open than the example on the florist’s website.
When I questioned Bonnie regarding the quality of the flowers, I was told all the Mother’s Day roses in their shop looked the same, including replacements, but they all would last past Mother's Day. I was sent a photo of the condition of the roses on Mother’s Day. The rosebuds definitely lacked a fresh quality, having opened up significantly more, and unfortunately, did not look special on a very special day.
From this experience, I have learned to order flowers elsewhere in the future.

The only thing I didnt like is I ordered 18 roses and I received only 17. This was not a cheap order, so I would expect to receive all of them. That is my only negative view. Flower bouquet was beautiful. I live in Houston, and when I gave Hospital and Room #, only to discover after the fact that no flowers were allowed in her room. (that type of room) not her condition, i would have thought the florist would have knowledge of hospitals protocols as a regular provider to them. It worked out with additional trips by florist for free, but probably would have gone a different route if i had known delivery to room not available.

We replaced all the carnations in the photo with roses. And used higher quality flowers than in the photo. We also added the Personalized banner as you requested. As far as the length of flower life, standing easels will not live more than the day of the service because there is no water source. It is not like a vase arrangement where all the flowers are able to drink and you are able to change the water as needed. Standing sprays are made to be enjoyed for the day. It was hard to get a hold of for an ETA and the delivery driver did not care if roses would fall over when they placed on the floor. Oak Hills Florist went above and beyond for my flower delivery! I ordered from out of state - which is always a little scary-, but OH sent me a text picture of the flowers as they were being delivered to a friend that was in surgery at a hospital. The colors were beautiful, however, the purple flowers were wilted upon arrival and the carnations tips were brown, working towards wilted. Some of the orange ‘daisy’ type flowers were fresh, but one at the top was not. The large orange lily type flowers were perfect and fresh. I am disappointed because overall, I know the bouquet won’t last very long.
