About Us
My name is Nora and I am a floral designer and a ceramicist, I specialize in modern designs in ceramic vases and planters that I make myself.
I am a floral designer and ceramicist based in Northeast Los Angeles. Original ceramic pieces handmade by me are the element of my floral design studio that is truly unique. My ceramic pieces, combined with a plant or floral arrangement, make for a unforgettable gift. I create my ceramic vessels using both hand building techniques as well as the slip casting process. With slip casting, liquid clay is poured into plaster molds to create the shape. All my pieces are high fired in a gas kiln. I use only seasonally available and locally grown flowers in my arrangements. Arranging flowers is about the eye and hand working in tandem; it is about color and form. It is also about respecting flowers as a living material, in my arrangements I don't force, I work with the flowers and intuit the natural direction they want to take. I am committed to making my practice as sustainable as possible. I only buy from local California growers to cut down on the carbon cost of shipping flowers, therefore I design seasonally. I compost all my waste and never use flower foam. All my arrangements are made to order with flowers purchased fresh daily. For this reason I do not do same day deliveries. Deliveries are made in the afternoon unless you request otherwise. Please don't hesitate to let me know if there is a certain color or specific flower you want in your design and I will do my best to accommodate your wishes!

Every gift ordered through BloomNation is personally hand-delivered by the local florist.
Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.
Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received
cut-off times for same-day delivery that are based off of the recipient’s time zone.
Florists that offer same-day delivery display their same-day delivery cut-off time in
their store detail section. Orders received after that time may be delivered the
following day. Please note some florists may not make deliveries on Sunday.
