I placed an order online on 3/25 for a funeral on 3/31. Payment was taken and I received a confirmation that my order was received. On the day of the funeral, I noticed our arrangement was missing. I called the florist. She stated she never received the order and didn’t have the flowers on hand so she would refund my money. She did not apologize. She did not show any kind of empathy. She did not offer to send something to the family. It was purely a transaction. When people send flowers, it’s important. In the event of a funeral (especially a family member like this one), it’s heartbreaking when feelings were hurt because someone else failed at their one and only job. I understand mistakes happen but when there is no accountability and no ownership, it’s a disgusting display of customer service.

I specifically chose this arrangement because of the unique flowers and color combination. What I got could have been purchased from a supermarket florist. I even ordered a day early so that if they needed to order in the flowers, they would have time. Don't get me wrong, the arrangement was acceptable, but I wanted something special and only got '"OK". Next time I need flowers in Newton, I will go with someone else.

I have not seen the arrangement but my mom said it is beautiful. She said there were lilies, which were not pictured in the bouquet picture and to which she sometimes has a problem with the strong scent (so I avoid them overall). The arrangement was also delivered to her apartment which is also at Park Centre although she is temporarily in Skilled Rehab, which I specifically noted on the address. I thought a local florist who hand delivers would get this right. So overall my experience was not positive and I wouldn't order from you again.

Ordering from out of state can be risky, Baqara Floral Lounge exceeded my expectations for service. They sent me a picture via text of the flowers before they were sent out for delivery. Their webpage was pretty easy to use which was also nice for an out-of-stater. If you are from out of state or even from Newton, you should definitely consider Baqara Floral Lounge for your floral needs.

For my sister's 75th birthday I wanted to send flowers. I searched online for florists in Newton. I selected Baqara Floral because they are associated with Bloom Nation. I am very familiar with Bloom Nation. And as expected everything was first class. They delivered on time, flowers were beautiful and my sister loved the flowers which was the ultimate goal. If you are looking for florists in Newton this business is a go to. Don't think about going anywhere else.

Pleased with the similar flower substitutions used but was a little disappointed in the vase substitution, especially when I chose “up grade” and ended up with a plain clear glass vase. Not similar at all to the original vase.

Every gift ordered through BloomNation is personally hand-delivered by the local florist. Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.

Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received cut-off times for same-day delivery that are based off of the recipient’s time zone. Florists that offer same-day delivery display their same-day delivery cut-off time in their store detail section. Orders received after that time may be delivered the following day. Please note some florists may not make deliveries on Sunday.
