Sometimes Glendale Florist can be solid, but other times they sure know how to disappoint. I was supposed to get these flowers but it looked absolutely nothing like what was in the picture.
Granted it was mothers day and I want to be understanding, and I'm sure they had limited stock on certain flowers because it is one of the crazier seasons to have mother's day, but at the same time they should've known and planned that beforehand. Instead of a vibrant set of flowers what I look like I got instead was a set of depressing and desaturated bundle of flowers. the replacements they used to fill in didn't even complement each other well, and it honestly really looked like I was staring at a bouquet of lettuces. It's not the priciest set of flowers that they sell or anything of course, but even so, $125 is still a lot. Could have at least tried to make me feel like I'm getting what I paid for. The quality looked way too poor.
But I think what made me actually upset the most is that they didn't even try to make it up or even offer an explanation for why they turned out the way they did. It seemed like it was almost as if they got the worst one they had and just tried to give it to me quickly and hope that I just wouldn't notice or make a comment about it and avoid whatever they were supposed to be accountable for. Like the fact that they had to gaslight me to make me believe that it was exactly what I wanted and ordered was kind of triggering. They have to own up to it way better than that. Would've been totally okay if they at least mentioned it at the start and offer a better substitution, or even just a coupon. Instead they acted like nothing was wrong or different until I had to point it out. Didn't bother to ask if I was happy about it or comfortable with it.
Other flowers have been good, but seriously questioning if I can really rely on or trust in this place for future orders.

The bouquet is called peony surprise. It didn't come with any at all. I called and asked and they told me that they "reserve the right" to change flowers at any time. I calmly responded "why didn't you just call me to tell me if that was ok? I would have worked with you and selected something else." No apology was issued, just awkward silence. Instead of that solution, they chose a ton of cheap flowers and filler.
This was my fifth order with this company this year and was planning on being a long time patron but I'll have to find a new place that puts in the care.

The order was nothing like the picture and while I understand that it's Valentines day and some substitutions will be made, I basically received a 2 dozen rose bouquet that looked like it came from any florist. I specifically chose this arrangement because it had unique greenery and fillers and the variety of roses were beautiful. What I received were basic roses with wax filler and they all started wilting and drooping by Wednesday. I literally bought the same arrangement at a market and it was a fraction of the price and is still standing strong. I made sure to change the water and trim the edges every day as well. Just not the caliber I expected for the price and previous experiences I had had with this florist.

The floral arrangement I received didn't look anything like the picture. The florist didn't have the orchids that were pictured, so no orchids were included in the arrangement at all when I went to pick up the flowers and replacement orchids were only added when I complained. The white roses included in the arrangement were very tiny and looked nothing like the picture. Pretty disappointed considering these were a gift. I ordered flowers previously from this place and was very pleased but doubt I'll be coming back after this.

As before, when I had ordered from this floral shop before this particular occasion, it was very professionally done, the updates and corrections with the card notes were taken into account and adjusted, and the notifications on the order and delivery were appreciated, timely and helpful to receive. Overall, for this time, also, the arrangement had looked beautiful and professional. (Star Gazers Love - Deluxe)
The two things that I felt would have made it a perfect 5-star rating for me was to have had much more greenery or green foliage behind the arrangement in the back and around the sides (and maybe just a few feathery green stems in-between the major flowers) to give it a more lush look, and to have had more of the added purple flowers added in-between the standard red roses with the white Asian lilies, and a few more purple flowers or more gladiolas in the back, added along with those already placed in the back of it. Maybe that would have been harder to keep it to your "standard" and professional look, and maybe that would have required more $, though I felt the price was quite a bit for what it ended up being overall. Still, I had hoped for and pictured it with a little more purple mixed in with the red and white and a much more lush and fuller look to it all around, and especially more greenery. I had asked for the added purple flowers (hoping for maybe purple/lavender roses, if available, or lilac stems, even stems closer to magenta-purple, etc.) with the red and white, and more greenery added to your deluxe size of the order I had decided upon, and I guess I was anticipating much more than what it had turned out to be afterwards in the finished look of the arrangement. You did stay with the true "purple," as I had asked for "purple," but maybe other lavender flowers, supportive flowers, blue iris, blue-purple flowers/stems or near-purple floral stems could have worked, but I didn't say as much and you stayed with "purple" as I had asked for that color. Purple-magenta hued orchids, the smaller ones on long extended stems, and/or other options of purple or close-to-purple would have been lovely, but probably not fitting the parameters of the design, style and cost within the standard set measures of that particular floral design and in what I had asked for/chosen for the arrangement.
At any rate, though that was a rather disappointing outcome for me in what I thought I had ordered and asked for, and in what had ended up as the final result.....overall, it was still beautiful. No one knew the difference, except for me... And fresh flowers are always beautiful at any time and help in adding more meaning, feeling and ambiance to the occasion, making it more beautiful and special.

We live out-of-state and a friend of ours in Glendale had an unexpected death in her family.
We ordered the Rose & Lisianthus arrangement from them on a late Sunday evening and they were delivered to her the very next day by noon. The delivery person carried them in for her as the vase was very heavy, beautiful and well made. She was both touched and awed by the beautiful white, pink, lavender and purple floral arrangement! Extremely disappointed, with the pictured arrangement of flowers vs the delivered arrangement and how Art handled my compaint even after I expressed the disappointment. Very understandable how there's different designers and flowers available but to keep it with the same look and feel is better then alerting the whole look but using the same flowers is what they stand behind. If I can call to confirm several concerns I had, the "receptionist" doesn't know what she's talking about (was his excuse), then you can give me a courtesy call back too. Will I order again? Well... since I'm in Houston and they are in Glendale, maybe not. BUT maybe that's why I didn't recieve some cash back for the issue of disappointment in false advertisement. WHAT YOU SEE IS PROBABALY WHAT YOU WON'T GET! So don't bother looking at pictures and ordering by the looks. KNOW your flowers because he'll make you feel like you should know all the flowers he's mentioning. Like what he said, "I can't make everyone happy" and since I'm not local there you have it...

I totally understand that you sometimes don't have some of the flowers but replacing them with the most unpleasant ones isn't fair! We were really disappointed with the arrangement from Glendale Flowers. We spent $120 and the arrangement they delivered looked like it cost $40 from a super market. It was so TINY and embarrassing!!!! Glendale Florist exceeded my expectations- while ordering an arrangement for my grandmother's funeral, they called to make sure they had all the information they needed to coordinate with the funeral home and texted when it was delivered. When we arrived, I was floored by how beautiful the arrangement was- it was even better than the picture. They added other blooms that were beautiful (and this was with the standard order, not deluxe). My mom, who wasn't keen on getting flowers in the first place, was so thankful that we did. She loved them and thought the arrangement was the perfect way to show our love for such an amazing woman in our lives. I also loved that they include a personalized banner with the arrangement, something that a lot of florist, especially online orders, don't include. I ordered the Vanda Orchid and Lisianthus Special from Glendale Florist for my fiancée's birthday.
Having them delivered to her work, I was nervous they wouldn't get delivered properly (I didn't have good luck in the past with 1-800-FLOWERS).
They sent me a text when it was out for delivery (saying it'd be delivered in about 23 minutes) and one saying it'd been delivered shortly after my fiancée texted saying how beautiful the flowers were.

The flowers were mostly withered and dried. A few of the roses were barely done budding.
Although the delivery was satisfactory, the quality of flowers were really poor. For the cost of the flowers, I honestly don't think they were worth it. I'm really disappointed!

My sister and her family live in Silver Lake and I am on the East Coast, so it is hard for me to choose a florist who creates interesting and tasteful bouquets. After looking at a few places in Glendale, online, I came across Glendale Florist. There were so many beautiful bouquets from which to choose and I went with the Anemone and Co. for my sister's birthday.
In the notes I wrote "Permission to leave a front door, in the event that they are not home." I received a call from GF and they wanted to make sure that someone would be home because, were they to leave the bouquet outside they would wilt in 20 minutes given that it was extremely hot that day. So I reached out to my sister and it turns out they were spending the day at the beach and would be coming home in the evening. I phoned GF to let them know and they were happy to deliver the next day.
I am so grateful that they took an extra step to make sure that the flowers were delivered in tact! I also want to note that this was same day service! The arrangement was absolutely beautiful and my sister was so happy!!! She also commented on the uniqueness of the Anemone.
I have found my LA florist and will always use them for every occasion.

I don’t know if it’s even worth leaving a review since you guys clearly don’t care. We specified the delivery time in the notes to be “anytime before 12” as we had plans for the rest of the day as it was my mother’s birthday. We understand that there can be some difficulties with traffic and scheduling all the deliveries, but it would have been nice to know when we can expect it as we aren’t home all day. I had to call at 12 to be told that it would come 1, latest at 1:30 but it ended up coming at 2. Again, the delays we understand but the customer service was really terrible when we called to check on the status at 1:30. The girl who answered simply told me all she did was answer phones and “did not know whatelse she could tell me” and laughed. She offered to have the manager call me after his meeting was done but he never did. I’ve ordered flowers from you guys 3 times now to be treated like this. It’s really disappointing and I won’t ever be buying again.

Flowers are correct and look as they should, but within one day a few were dying and most were already drooping. Extremely disappointed for the amount of money I spent. I left instructions to call because there is a dog in the yard; they did not and instead left them outside until my Mom happened to notice, which I am sure caused them to wilt a bit as it was a warm day.

Arrangement was very good, and my wife was certainly super happy. However, from my point of view, it wasn't as nice as the Purple Beauty arrangement on your website. There could have been more purple-hued flowers and plants in it, and it was a good amount smaller than what was pictured on your website. If this is because I ordered the "standard" size, then I'd recommend you have photos of the standard size there, and perhaps you could then show the difference on your website between the sizes without people guessing. Or at least caption the photo and indicate which size is pictured. I think that would help your customers a lot. You guys do very good work, but small details like this will make it excellent in my eyes.

I was very disappointed with my order. I paid $100 for a bouquet of roses that looked like a $40 bouquet from a grocery store. The picture was very misleading. The arrangement did. It include the pedestal base or the nice draping filler shown in the picture. The vase was one that you could buy at a thrift store for 50 cents and the filler was cheap and the fake ornament red berries looked more appropriate for Xmas and were not in the ad picture. Frankly, I was embarrassed for the recipient to receive the arrangement.

Had a great experience at first, easy to order, but had to make changes to my note the next day, and they were very helpful. After the delivery I asked my friend to send me a photo and the arrangement looked nothing like what I ordered. This arrangement is called "Dahlia & Hydrangea Special" and when it showed up, it had mostly Hydrangea's and spray roses. There was one Pom Pom Dahlia (which is not in the arrangement I ordered online) and one regular Dahlia (which I would have preferred to have more of, like the image of what I ordered). The vase that was supposed to come with the arrangement was a fishbowl vase, but instead the flowers showed up in a short cylinder vase. I would expect the florist to call me with all of these changes. I am sure Pom Pom Dahlias could have looked nice, but the color was a bright magenta and seemed to be out of place with the rest of colors chosen (and maybe if it was not the only one awkwardly sticking out of the top of the arrangement it may have looked okay). When I called to see what could be done there were a lot of excuses being thrown around. I understand standing behind the work your employees do, as I have be a General Manager in a multi-million retail store, however, I also know that the customer is always right, and customer service is key to having a successful business. The manager I spoke with at Glendale Florist said he could offer me 15% off my next purchase, however, if a customer does not get what they pay for the first time, do you think they will order again, and be happy with 15% off? The answer is no. I expected at least 1/2 a refund for my purchase, as there were so many changes to the order from what I expected my friend to receive, and the changes that were made did not look good. This probably would have not happened if the florist called to ask what substitutions that I would prefer. I am fine with changes, as long as it comes out looking okay, which in this case it did not.

You know, it's very awkward to ask if the flowers looked good as they may just say 'Yes, it was lovely'. just to not hurt your feelings.
But would anyone actually say- 'Meh, it was just ok. A little small.???'
So, I don't really know if my client actually liked it. They appreciated the gesture and it was timely.
The 5 stars is for the prompt delivery and the photographer that took all the lovely pictures. How it actually looked- I don't know.

Flower was not delivered on the delivery date because no one was at the place to accept them. However, the delivery guy called to inform me this and ask for another delivery time or date. This florist is unbelievably great! I placed an order for a dear family friend's mother in law's funeral at 8:30am and by 10am the most beautiful arrangement was at the church and it was so beautiful it became the center piece. Beautiful flowers, however their delivery service is very disappointing. I purchased these for my best friend who just had surgery. Being that I live out of town I wanted them delivered straight to her door. I came to find out that they were delivered to her downstairs leasing office within the building she lives in. She had to walk down the next morning to pick them up herself. I had recieved the confirmation email that they were delivered successfully at 5.30pm. I called her after work around 8 pm to see if she liked her flowers, she said no she didn't receive anything today & was home in bed. I called this company to confirm delivery, they said they had ringed up but left in leasing office because of no answer. That is a complete lie because when rining up to her apartment, it calls her direct cell phone. She had no missed calls. Plus by the time we found the flowers were at the leasing office, it was already closed. You would think that if there were any problems delivering the flowers they would have either contacted me or the person receiving these flowers. Both cell numbers were listed. Will post on yelp too.

I came across My Glendale Florist googling for a florist in Glendale that would deliver. I ordered the flowers online and it was very simple and loved the fact I could review my order and make sure everything is as I wanted to be.
I realized I had selected the wrong delivery date and I called them and they were so pleasant and nice enough to have the arrangement made and delivered within an hour or so.
I am beyond pleased with their professionalism and work! The flowers were beautiful and looked like the picture online. I was able to preview the message and it was nicely typed and placed in an envelope. My friend also said the delivery person was very nice.

I ordered an arrangement of roses, peonies, tulips for my mother's birthday. The cost was over $150. The photo the florist sent me was beautiful as you can see above but this was not the arrangement my mother received. I would later learn from my mother that the delivery driver left the flowers outside at the front door. By the time my mother discovered the flowers that evening they were wilted and sad. I was so upset. My mother turned 80 years old and I wanted the arrangement to be special and for her to feel pampered, not to receive an arrangement that had withered in the heat. When I called, the person I spoke with was not that helpful initially but eventually offered to send a replacement arrangement. I just got off the phone and my mother told me that the arrangement was much smaller, did not include any peonies or tulips and the roses seemed old. This is not an acceptable replacement. I did not receive a photo from the store this time. I'm disappointed with the service. If they had sent a comparable fresh arrangement I would have accepted the initial delivery as a mistake. But since the replacement was substandard i feel that my money was wasted here and the service was halfhearted and disrespectful. That's too bad because I was hoping that they would send a beautiful arrangement to replace the wilted and withered flowers that they left last week.

My experience was a disappointing one. As I would be out of the country during my girlfriend's birthday (which fell on a Monday), I set up an online order the previous Thursday for delivery on Monday. I received a confirmation email from the Florist with a promise to "exceed my expectations." I emailed the Florist Monday morning to inquire about delivery time, but did not get a response. Early afternoon, I texted my girlfriend to ask if she had received anything from me. She had not. Thus, I ended up calling the Florist from a foreign country. They did not seem to have a record of my order. I provided my confirmation # and they still asked me what kind of flowers they were, etc. They finally found the order, but at first did not note I had upgraded to "premium." By this time it was 4pm in Los Angeles and I knew my girlfriend was leaving at 5 for a birthday gathering. I told them they needed to make sure it was delivered within the hour. They assured me it would be and indeed it was. But I have no idea if it was a "premium" arrangement, I was very disappointed that they were not delivered earlier in the day and I was relieved that I had called to follow up. After spending over a $100, I was completely underwhelmed and will not utilize them again.
