Our subscriptions allow you to select a delivery frequency that best suits your needs - either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.
How often will I be billed?
You will be billed 5 days before the delivery schedule you select (either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly). This is to ensure your florist will have adequate time to prepare your order.
How do I make changes to my subscription plan?
You can call the florist any time before the scheduled delivery or pickup date to make changes to your subscription plan and orders.
Can I pause my subscription plan?
Yes, you can! contact us at (843) 785-7899, let us know the next best delivery date and we’ll pause your subscription.
How do I cancel my subscription plan?
We’d be happy to take care of that for you! Please contact us at (843) 785-7899 and we’ll cancel your subscription right away.

I am from Pittsburgh and your store was recommended to me by family on Hilton Head for my friend who was there vacationing when her mom passed.

I have had several wonderful experiences with floral purchases from this vendor. Purchased this pink rose arrangement and am a bit disappointed.
Upon delivery, one bloom was snapped off the stem. Now two days later, instead of fully opening, the remaining blooms are browning and drooping.
Disappointed but due to previous good experiences will give them the benefit of the doubt in the future.

I was super disappointed when my aunt sent me the picture of what was actually sent. I get it, it’s a holidays and I knew I was going to be spending upwards of $100 to have some flowers sent (plus tip) but what was sent was -really- skimpy & look nothing like the picture I chose. I was hoping to find a local florist that I can use more often, but it won’t be mumstheword. Holiday disappointment.

Our friends loved the large, beautiful poinsettia. This shop was so easy to work with and professional. I placed my order online and was able to write a long, personal message to the recipient. The arrangement was delivered to the wrong house. It wasn’t even a house on the correct street. When I got a notice saying it was delivered and it wasn’t, I immediately called and emailed the florist during business hours. I did not get a response. This was for a special occasion. Ultimately, through a process of elimination I had an idea where it might have been delivered. I called those people. They were out of town for Thanksgiving, but noticed someone had left something at their door through their Ring camera. So ultimately I was able to find and retrieve the arrangement, which was nice. I shouldn’t have had to go through that for the florist’s mistake. My neighbors shouldn’t have been disturbed on their trip. I still haven’t heard anything from the florist. Based on the poor delivery and lack of responsiveness I cannot recommend them. I would recommend their floral arrangement which had nice flowers and presentation, but what good is a florist who delivers to the wrong and doesn’t respond to calls and e-mails asking for them to fix their mistake?

The Easter flowers we ordered for my husband's parents were absolutely stunning! We ordered a custom bouquet of yellow and blue flowers. The arrangement had large and small yellow roses as well as irises and came in a beautiful glass vase. I would highly recommend Mums the Word florist!

I’ve not seen the flowers, but, when I was finally able to hear from her, she said they were lovely. However, they were sent over a week ago. After more than a week went by without hearing from her, I texted to see if she had received them. I was a bit anxious that perhaps she didn’t.
She said they were left at her doorstep with no tag on them. She did not know where they came from or who sent them. Apparently the message I wrote for her, along with my name, was not included, Leaving me and my friend a bit confused and frustrated.

I live in another state and my wife is at Hilton Head Island on a trip. Her birthday is this week and I wanted to send flowers from a local florist rather than from an Internet service. I searched on Google maps to find a florist and several popped up. I looked at their websites and settled on Mums the Word. I was easily able to make a selection and place an order online. They delivered it as expected and I’ve seen pictures of the flowers as sent by my wife and they are beautiful. Great service considering I didn’t even have to talk to anyone in person.

I had ordered and purchased an enhanced arrangement for our Aunt; this cost more than the standard bouquet, and there should have been more flowers in the arrangement. I was disappointed to see a photo of the actual arrangement; it appears to have lost some of the flowers that should have been included in the standard arrangement!

Thank you for the quick turn around time. I ordered the evening of March 31st for a delivery on April 1st. A gift for my mom’s bday, delivered to her work, and requesting only a bouquet of hydrangeas.
She sent me a picture thanking me and I was so confused and disasppointed when I saw the picture. Mainly because I was less than impressed with what I saw after spending $75+ on a bouquet of hydrangeas. I didn’t think it was going to be a giant arrangement but maybe 5 pretty Hydrangeas simply put together with a nice ribbon around the vase.
There are 3 beautiful hydrangeas and then some extremely random height roses stuck in there. (Which is my moms least favorite flower)
I blame myself for assuming that there would be communication with me if my custom bouquet couldn’t be accommodated with the flower supply on hand. Or atleast the bouquet to look a bit more professionally done than it was.
When I called my mom to apologize for the unfortunate looking bouquet... she was like, “I didn’t want to sound ungrateful but what a weird bouquet. And those random tall roses sticking out?!”
I told her to just take them out and either give them to someone else in the office or toss them. Happy to send a picture of the bouquet right after she received them.
*Also the website says that the message in the card will be printed out... but this card was a sloppy handwritten message with a smeared pen.
Just disappointed.

I heard from my sister, and she said the arrangement was lovely and very healthy. The flowers are beautiful. Her only criticism is that the plastic container seemed a little flimsy for such a nice arrangement. Perhaps a little decorative foil around the bottom would help.

I didn’t need to be though! The staff at Mums The Word took wonderful care of my arrangement! There were some slight changes made, as happens with flower arrangements sometimes, but the end result was an arrangement even more beautiful than the picture! Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received
cut-off times for same-day delivery that are based off of the recipient’s time zone.
Florists that offer same-day delivery display their same-day delivery cut-off time in
their store detail section. Orders received after that time may be delivered the
following day. Please note some florists may not make deliveries on Sunday.
To request a specific delivery time, please type it into the Special Instructions field
during checkout. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences.
Before major holidays, we recommend that you place your orders at least five days in
advance.
