For over 35 years, Michaleen’s has been a beloved part of the Ithaca community, growing and evolving alongside the vibrant and diverse Finger Lakes region. What began as a small local flower shop has blossomed into a full-service florist and greenhouse, featuring two expansive greenhouses, a flourishing nursery, and an ever-changing collection of annuals, perennials, and rare botanical treasures. Known for our artistry in floral design, Michaleen’s creates arrangements that are both distinctive and timeless, perfect for weddings, celebrations, and life’s most meaningful moments. Our thoughtfully curated selection of eclectic gifts, elegant statuary, and garden fountains adds to the charm and romance that defines our space. Every flower is hand-selected and delivered fresh daily to ensure the highest quality for our customers. How will I receive a new bouquet?
Our subscriptions allow you to select a delivery frequency that best suits your needs - either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.
How often will I be billed?
You will be billed 5 days before the delivery schedule you select (either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly). This is to ensure your florist will have adequate time to prepare your order.
How do I make changes to my subscription plan?
You can call the florist any time before the scheduled delivery or pickup date to make changes to your subscription plan and orders.
Can I pause my subscription plan?
Yes, you can! contact us at (607) 257-3203, let us know the next best delivery date and we’ll pause your subscription.
How do I cancel my subscription plan?
We’d be happy to take care of that for you! Please contact us at (607) 257-3203 and we’ll cancel your subscription right away.

After talking it over with you on the phone you decided that replacing it or refunding it and replacing it with a different gift weren't the best solution for you. We did deliver a bonsai plant, just not the one that was pictured on the website. We do our best everyday to fulfill orders as shown on our website and we aren't trying to trick or deceive our customers. We are so glad that you and the recipient were pleased with the replacement bonsai that was delivered the next day, which we upgraded to the larger 8" container at no additional cost to you.
As a reminder, our substitution policy is posted on our website so that customers are aware of policies and procedures that we have in place here at Michaleen's. Delivery Details & Tips
Every gift ordered through BloomNation is personally hand-delivered by the local florist.
Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.
Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received
cut-off times for same-day delivery that are based off of the recipient’s time zone.
Florists that offer same-day delivery display their same-day delivery cut-off time in
their store detail section. Orders received after that time may be delivered the
following day. Please note some florists may not make deliveries on Sunday.
To request a specific delivery time, please type it into the Special Instructions field
during checkout. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences.
Before major holidays, we recommend that you place your orders at least five days in
advance.
