It was a difficult experience. While the flowers were healthy and the design was fine ( I was told that she put extra flowers in) - it was not what I had asked for.
It was the first time that I worked with this florist and it will be my last. I had originally asked for an arrangement in a teacup....specifically something small because this recipient is not a showy person.
I was told the smallest vessel that she had was 6 inches. Okay, fine. And, I still wanted a small arrangement even though I had upped what I was willing to pay.
What I got was an arrangement that had to be at least 18 inches tall and quite wide. It was showy. The flowers were healthy and interesting. But it was an embarrassment to the recipient. My point? I did not find this designer to be interested in what I wanted for my friend. At one point she specifically said "Don't tie my hands".
She also said that people are often surprised by the arrangement. The sense that I got was that people received more than they had expected. While I received more flowers that is not what I was looking for. I found her very difficult to work with. She put together something that was very different than what I had asked for.
Again, the flowers were healthy. However, it was not what i asked for and I was quite disappointed. I will not return.

I was looking for a florist close to home and when my navigation system suggested this one I suspected it was a mistake because I did not recall ever driving past a florist at this location. The building is unassuming and there is no big sign announcing it.
My review:
1. The florist prepared a Designer’s Choice arrangement in a small vase.
2. I paid and came back 90 minutes later to pick up.
3. The arrangement was absolutely beautiful. Our friend recipient loved it!

Hands down best service ever. The delivery driver called because my wife wasn’t home when she arrived and rather than leave them on the porch in the cold she chose to wait till my wife got home to hand deliver them, even though I said she didn’t have to. It was only 10 min but the fact that she took it upon herself to wait just so that the flowers wouldn’t get ruined was such a nice thing to do. I normally order flowers through the large, online, players. This time, I used a local company and am so glad that I did.
I wanted an arrangement that incorporated specific colors that would have meaning to the recipient. When I called, Maria, the owner, answered the phone. I described what the arrangement was for, along with the colors I wanted, and Maria took it from there. She was very patient in leading me through the various arrangements. She then presented several price points, along with the delivery and tax charges.
The delivery was accomplished as promised and the recipient was thrilled. Another touch that I appreciated is that she emailed me a picture of the finished product.

My sister’s beloved dog died after 14 years..wanted to do something special..was thinking flowers would be (yawn) just ok, until I found this place.
Cuz of Covid, money is kinda tight, but the woman I spoke with on the phone went above and beyond dealing with my somewhat frantic situation. She was so agreeable, personal and professional. She gladly excepted my having to split the payment between two cards..and my calling her several times after I ordered with afterthoughts..she was so caring and kind.
The flowers were sent in a timely fashion with pictures and follow up emails every step of the way. When I saw pictures of the arrangement, I was floored..I’ve never seen anything so beautiful..so creative, with a unique selection of seasonal fall offerings.. different than what I’ve ever seen, overflowing with gorgeous fresh fall blooms, red berries, sedums and colorful fall kale..was breathtaking.
And the price was incredibly reasonable..which is so helpful during this time.
My sister’s broken heart was soothed by the specialness of this arrangement. My heart felt like I did something extra for her because of the quality and beauty of this artistic bouquet.
Will go there always..and if you want something above and beyond, something incredibly beyond the norm, something fresh, unique and so special..GO to Methuen Flowers!

Second time ordering, first time was fantastic. This time not so much. Ordered a purple blue summertime bouquet for my mothers birthday. Received a snapshot of what was sent, and it was more “red” than blue and purple. If I wanted “red” I would’ve ordered that. Also seems smaller than last time for Deluxe. The order was placed a week ahead so the florist could accommodate the order. Received an email the night before saying they were changing the bouquet. I assumed it would be the same colors. Why post something on your website and then change to what you want, not what the customer picked? Especially when you have a week to find the colors to match. Not very good customer service. Also did not receive a delivery notice until midnight. Last time it was within an hour of delivery. Will look elsewhere next time.

Methuen Flowers was fantastic to work with! The photo from BloomNation did not do justice to how lovely the basket was. But the best part of the transaction was how accomodating Methuen Flowers was as my needs changed after the original order was placed - I had to change the delivery date, since the flowers were intended to be delivered to a cousin who had gone into hospice care as something to cheer her final days, but she passed away before the scheduled delivery of the flowers, and Methuen Flowers graciously changed the delivery date, destination, and card to be appropriate for the wake a few days later. I was impressed by the quick response, and the kindness of the note I received, and the beauty of the arrangement! What a fantastic company that is!
