Our subscriptions allow you to select a delivery frequency that best suits your needs - either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.
How often will I be billed?
You will be billed 5 days before the delivery schedule you select (either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly). This is to ensure your florist will have adequate time to prepare your order.
How do I make changes to my subscription plan?
You can call the florist any time before the scheduled delivery or pickup date to make changes to your subscription plan and orders.
Can I pause my subscription plan?
Yes, you can! contact us at (608) 238-3838, let us know the next best delivery date and we’ll pause your subscription.
How do I cancel my subscription plan?
We’d be happy to take care of that for you! Please contact us at (608) 238-3838 and we’ll cancel your subscription right away.

I would like to say to anyone thinking of ordering flowers here- do not hesitate! Maybe a tad bit pricey but everything I have ordered was absolutely gorgeous! No comparing to any other floral shop I have been to.

Not happy at all with the colors and the very few flowers > I specifically asked for yellow and orange ...Never wanted purple & I told them.
I asked for white Calla Lillies, Gerbera daisies yellow or orange . The butterfly is awful and tacky I paid almost $100 for this arrangement and for a green plant included as well..This is African violets which I never want. I have sent Mothers Day arrangements to my daughter in law from Metcalfs for many years but this is definitely the last time ever

BTW - my friend's name is "Croffoot" not the "Troffop" you wrote. I worked with Connie in the Hilldale Floral department....she was very patient with me and called me two different times after my ordered was place to double check the phone number I gave for the person receiving the order since I gave her an incorrect phone number and then let me know that my credit card did not clear (which I later called my credit card company to let them know that they issued me a card with incorrect info included) She customer service was excellent!

You just don’t get much for 70 bucks anymore. The boutique, with the exception of two roses, was pathetic. My special request of a perfect euchre hand in hearts kind of saved it and delivery gets you three stars. I hate giving bad reviews but I was a little embarrassed and I won’t be asking the rest of the members to pitch in.

I want to thank Connie for taking the extra step in helping me over the phone with putting together a basket of snacks and chocolates and a flower to be delivered to a patient/friend in UW Hospital. The plant was BEAUTIFUL. Tall, full and blooming in a lovely planter/pot. I've ordered flowers/plants from other florists in the past and haven't received the size of plant or amount of flowers I thought I was paying for - that was not the case with Metcalfe's! They did a great job!

I was in desperate need of getting some sunflowers delivered to a friend. Metcalfe's had beautiful ones that they wrapped beautifully and delivered right on time, via Doordash. Everything I wanted, done right. Other local florists only had sunflowers in arrangements with other things, which I didn't want at all. Metcalfe's is much better and more responsive than other local florists and forget about national delivery chains!

I sent the Beautiful Blues (Deluxe) in March 2024 to my dad who was in the hospital recovering after surgery. I realize not many guys probably get flowers, but having a bouquet of some blues (his favorite color) and knowing of his green thumb made me think it was worth it. The bouquet was delivered within a day on a Sunday (not many florists do that)! My dad was surprised to get them and the flowers were still good a while for my parents to take them back home with them once my dad could be released from the hospital. The cost was worth it for the amount and type of flowers, they were delivered and there were no weird plastic piece fillers added to the arrangement. Some other florists in the area add plastic fillers. I found them a bit tacky.

I live in another state so did a bit of research on Madison florists as I wanted to send a bouquet to a friend who is haveing a hard time. I chose Metcalfe's because online ordering was easy, it seemed to be a legitimate Madison florist (not one of those nationwide 1.800 florists), and the pricing was competitive. Metcalfs took the order, had to source one of the bouquets from a different store because they didn't deliver to that area. I was very impressed with the quality of the flowers and especially the customer service. We had a tight window to deliver and they made sure they got there within the time-frame. They kept me updated via email the whole time AND sent a photo of the bouquets. I highly recommend

I called in my order, great customer service. I was told that someone had to reply to a text, or the flowers wouldn't be delivered. My son in law stayed home all day and never got a text. I was sending flowers to my daughter from another state and got very lucky in choosing a great floral shop near her home! I included a message saying Happy 30th bday, and Metcalfes surprised us with a balloon that had a big 3 0 on it! I paid for a ballon, but for them to send a special 30th one was perfect! The actual arrangement doesn’t look anything like the picture I selected. I have bought flowers from Metcalfe Hilldale since Sally left House of Flowers & joined you. Even after she changed departments, I stayed with Metcalfe because of the beautiful arrangements made from a wide assortment of flowers at a reasonable price. I tried to attach a photo of my recent Metcalfe arrangement 2 days after it was purchased. I hope you receive it. The woman I spoke with during the order asked if I wanted a tall or short arrangement. I first said, "Short", but changed my mind & asked her to do it whatever way she thinks looks best. The arrangement was well cared for. Within 2 days the tulips were bent over, resting on the table, because they were put in a short vase. The allium bloom died/dried up (there was plenty of water. The same was true with the Hydrangea bloom. Considering I paid over $80- for the arrangement & short distance delivery, I am very disappointed. The arrangement should have been put in a tall vase & the allium & hydrangea should have been fresher.

I was "off-the-charts" impressed! The delivery was going to someone who recently had surgery, due to the time they had to spend in ICU, the flowers could not immediately be delivered. I am SO pleased with Metcalfe’s Floral Studio. Everything about my order was exceptionally wonderful. I needed to have a bouquet delivered to a hospital on the day I called which was Saturday. I had called several florists before calling Metcalf’s. One florist told me the price for delivery on the weekend was $150 plus the cost of the flowers! Then I called Metcalf and talked to Connie. She was fabulous. She made ordering very easy for me. She even called the hospital to be sure the patient was still there and that the hospital would allow incoming deliveries. She created a gorgeous bouquet and even texted me a picture of it! And delivery was just $12.99! I LOVE Metcalf’s Floral Studio. I’ll never order flowers again from anyone else but Metcalf’s. Diane at Metcalfe's had done a beautiful job on my sister's wedding flowers a year ago, so she was the first one I contacted for my wedding! It was very easy working with her over phone and email--she doesn't need much to run with (I had a few colors but don't much about flowers) and she created absolutely beautiful bouquets and corsages/boutonniers. We live out of state and did our best to find a florist with good ratings. We believed the reviews and ratings that were posted. However, in the end, we were completely disappointed in the product that was produced. Our relative sent us a picture of the arrangement that was received. It barely resembled the one that we had selected online and it was a complete disappointment for 99.00 arrangement. The flowers were lacking in amount and the roses that were in the arrangement were completely opened/ready to be discarded. My husband called to express our disappointment only to be told that nothing could be done. There was no offer pf compensation for us or the recipient of the flowers. This is terrible customer service and not a professional way to run a business.

I didn't end up getting the floral arrangement that I first had ordered. The recipient's roommates have cats and she was afraid the cat's would eat the arrangement. Shopped at this store for more than 20 years. Just used the floral department. Ordered the day before Valentines day. Delivered early the next day. The flowers looked great. I am very happy with my purchase. Dont think I'll use anyone else from now on.

Ordered these for my wife’s birthday on Tuesday. Today, 2 days later, I stopped by her office to see them. I ordered the Fly Away with balloon and paid for Deluxe. I was not impressed. Very sparse. There were some nice sized flowers, but the roses weren’t open on the side and looked like they probably wouldn’t since they looked like they were already on the decline. The other flowers on the side were closed and very small. I’m getting to the point where I now have no confidence in the Madison flower industry and feel like looking for something else to send my wife since we’ve had this experience at multiple florists in town.
*Update* After discussing our issues with Diane at Metcalfe’s I am revising my review to 4 Stars for their customer service and her effort to resolve our situation. She was very thorough in finding out why we were disappointed and genuinely offered to try and make things right. I will definitely be ordering again from them in the future. Thank you Diane!

The florists did a wonderful job and it was such a fun delight for my friend (the recipient of the flowers). I told the florist to make the arrangement warm, fun, and upscale and they hit the nail on the head. It was a gorgeous arrangement, glad I trusted this team!!

I am so pleased with the service and the beautiful arrangement! I live three states and 6 hrs away...my daughter is a student at the university. Things are stressful this time of year and I wanted to send a little pick me up. The arrangement was delivered and in her dorm room two hours after placing the order. This arrangement was fabulous. They didn't have the pink snapdragons and substituted pink roses. Beautiful! The floral manager communicated this to me and sent me a photo of the finished arrangement. I will definitely use Metcalfe's in the future.

The flowers that were in the vase were pretty. For the price there definitely should have been more especially since there weren’t many roses. Kind of disappointed
