We are Mercer Island Florist - Mercer Island's only brick-and-mortar Seattle-area small business retail florist for over 50 years. We are a proud member of the Mercer Island community. We have a small and mighty staff who represent Redmond, Issaquah, Bellevue, Mercer Island, and Seattle. They are loving, excited, creative designers ready to help you bring the art of flowers to you or someone you care about.

Our subscriptions allow you to select a delivery frequency that best suits your needs - either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.
How often will I be billed?
You will be billed 5 days before the delivery schedule you select (either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly). This is to ensure your florist will have adequate time to prepare your order.
How do I make changes to my subscription plan?
You can call the florist any time before the scheduled delivery or pickup date to make changes to your subscription plan and orders.
Can I pause my subscription plan?
Yes, you can! contact us at (206) 232-2990, let us know the next best delivery date and we’ll pause your subscription.
How do I cancel my subscription plan?
We’d be happy to take care of that for you! Please contact us at (206) 232-2990 and we’ll cancel your subscription right away.

The flowers were nice but didn’t really look like the picture - it was mostly white with a small bit of green and colorful flowers. Great experience! Very professional and caring! I placed an order online for delivery and needed to update the message on the card after the payment had already gone through. I called and they answered quickly and were able to change the message manually over the phone. I also received a confirmation email with the new message right after the call. The day before delivery, they ran out of one of the types of flowers in my arrangement, but they called to let me know that they would fill the order to value and add a few extra flowers as well.

I am so appreciative that Mercer Island Florist was able to deliver on Sunday and their communication was excellent. However, I am disappointed with the look of the arrangement that was sent as it was not as attractive as the photo. The white orchids were replaced with green and red orchids and ferns were used at the bottom instead of the attractive leaves in the picture.

Her arrangement had one dahlia. The other flowers in the arrangement were pretty, but just not what I had asked for. Regardless, it made her day even more special to get her flowers, so it was a win.

I have always been happy with you guys except this time. When I picked up the bouquet the young lady got the flowers from the counter (not sure how long they had been sitting out). I called the shop, advising that no one would be able to get up the steep slope to our house at the end of the cul-de-sac. With no complaints, they rescheduled the delivery to Wednesday.
They have always been awesome folks to work with and this is just another example.

About an hour after I ordered I received a phone call from a very friendly woman explaining that they were out of calla lillies but she told me what they had that they could substitute. A great first experience with MI Florist! I sent my parents flowers for their anniversary and picked them out on a Thursday. They were delivered the next day, early afternoon, fresh, full, and exactly like pictured. They even called me to let me know they had to switch a type of flower but it was the same color. I sent this bouquet in the photo with six roses and six tulips as shown, and the one that my friend received had half the quantity of roses. Half!!! And four tulips instead of six. I was very disappointed at the false advertisement on the web site. Customers order bouquets based on the photos and when the actual product gets delivered at half the size, I don’t know what one is supposed to think? Just cut down the number of flowers you see and imagine it as half when you order? I will not be a returning customer!

All I know is that I paid a small fortune and then received an email basically saying, sorry we are out of the flowers you ordered but don't worry we'll send something else and it will be great. haha... I'm sure whatever they sent is beautiful but I can't think of any type of business where this sort of thing would be considered acceptable at all. Beautiful flowers. I can always count on Mercer Island Florist for a gorgeous and timely arrangement when I order it. For this specific item, many yellow blooms were subbed in (per the website notes, it makes sense if something is low on stock). I personally detest yellow with ridiculous passion, so if I'd known ahead of time, I would have changed the order to something else - this arrangement was chosen to match decor and now it totally clashes. In a different room, and for people who like yellow, it's a spectacular arrangement.

I have had issues with the quality of flowers delivered to my girlfriend by an online florist. I contacted Mercer Island florist, and explained my dilemma and concerns. They were personable and charming, and genuinely interested in helping me. They provided me with fantastic customer service, and provided a phenomenal floral arrangement for my girlfriend that exceeded my expectations. Very pretty flowers in this wristlet corsage and the stretchy pearl bracelet was a nice touch. I ordered online and was not disappointed. There were 3 levels to choose from which was a little confusing as there was no explanation as to what was included in the 3 different prices. I went with the middle thinking that was a good average.

I live on the East Coast and wanted something special for my daughter-in-law's birthday in Washington State. I was excited about giving her a terrarium for her office because it would be a beautiful, no-fuss addition to her already jam-packed schedule. She LOVED it!! I was disappointed in the arrangement that I received. I ordered the Deluxe version but there are only three red flowers in it. It came in a large jar-like vase and the stems were all too short, which means the flowers are jammed together, and the extra greenery should have been something soft like Gyp but they used hard-edged leafy branches that didn't work well with the arrangement and definitely didn't match the picture.

I’m very Happy. For my wife’s birthday I was just wanting to brighten her day at work. The order was as close to the photo as I could expect, but the roses are the largest and healthiest roses I’ve ever seen. My wife was surprise and brightened up her office and her day.

Easy online ordering, next day delivery, and the individual on the receiving end was ecstatic. Reasonably priced for a Mercer Island small business, and considering the speedy accommodation. One curiosity though, the receiver reported the roses as 'yellow'-- though in the photo they appear to be both light and dark peach shades. No big deal though, as the receiver happens to love yellow roses. All said, both ends are pleased and there was no hassle.

I specifically picked a low profile arrangement with white roses and blue hydrangeas but that wasn't what was delivered. We are normally very happy with MI florist and perhaps I should have called instead of selecting and ordering online.

My experience was a bit disappointing because I ordered tulips… And I saw the picture it looked like the tulips haven't bloomed yet and I ordered balloons with my with my order and I got one balloon that cost $4.50. Next time I'd like more balloons and probably order a different variety

In addition to meeting my request to change color of the roses, when I checked for its delivery, I was told it hadn't gone out but "should later this afternoon".
