Trish Mattos
Trish's passion of flowers started when she worked at a florist in high school. She soon worked her way up to head designer and now owner of Merced Floral, which she has been creating beautiful bouquets for 30+ years. Although she does bouquets for all occasions her specialty is in her sympathy designs. Integrity and quality has always been the model for her business Merced Floral, providing custom designs with a special touch emphasizing in customer service!

Actually I was disappointed, I have used you a few times and been pretty satisfied,. But this time the flowers were delivered and the vase/ box broke. Ordered this bouquet for a friend who just got a major surgery. I love the beautiful round shape arrangement of the roses, peonies and the pretty green flowers in the photo. The one she got had similar flowers (though not as many of the green ones), and the arrangement of the flowers was a bit all over the place, not quite as elegant as the one in the photo on the website. It was an expensive arrangement $75, plus $15 for delivery, I thought for that money, perhaps they could have spent a bit more effort arranging the flowers a bit more elegantly.

In my directions for the person delivering the flowers I said to have the lady at the front desk call the recipient and for the deliverer to give them to the recipient. I got the confirmation that the flowers were delivered but hadn’t heard from the person they were delivered too all day. After contacting the girl they were for I found out she wasn’t able to make it to work due to family hardship so now the flowers I paid $85 for are sitting on a front desk waiting for her to return to work. If they couldn’t be handed to the recipient per my request I would have liked to have been informed so I could deal with the situation accordingly.

The flowers were beautiful! My friend was very happy with them. I was happy to see the beautiful arrangement: the flowers were fresh, large, lovely! The only downside is that the delivery person did not wear a mask. Otherwise tho, I was happy and would order from them in the future!

I order flowers for my mom for Mother’s Day from Merced Floral every year & they always do amazing, I’ve never had any complaints. However, this year when my mom sent me a picture of her flowers to thank me I was very unhappy with what I saw (although my mom still loved them). The bouquet looked like it was thrown together in seconds, some of the flowers were already wilted & there was a whole color of flowers missing from the bouquet! The color scheme was orange, pink, yellow & purple, so the fact that the pop of purple was missing really took away a lot of the “wow” factor. I was just very disappointed this year.

Every gift ordered through BloomNation is personally hand-delivered by the local florist.
Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.
Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received
cut-off times for same-day delivery that are based off of the recipient’s time zone.
Florists that offer same-day delivery display their same-day delivery cut-off time in
their store detail section. Orders received after that time may be delivered the
