I needed to get flowers to a neighbor the next day and it was getting close to 5 pm and I had all of the info to do the online form except for one thing so I called. Sara answered and couldn't have been more helpful or more gracious. I told her what I needed and why (a sympathy bouquet) and she told me she would take care of it and she did. It arrived on time, more than met my instructions. And, she texted me to let me know it was done so I didn't worry about it. My friend was delighted and so was I. Sara has made a customer for life.
We ordered the Va VaBloom for our daughter’s Bd. She loved it. The service by Marina Del Rey Florist was impeccable . The flowers were delivered in time, nicely packaged.

The flowers that arrived were not what I ordered. The vase was different (round), flower color was off (pink roses were added, not enough orange) and not enough of the green eucalyptus or greenery. It just looked like I ordered a bunch of different color roses in a round vase. While it was pretty, a lot of the roses did not look fresh (very wilted). She added in more roses but it looked more like store leftovers instead. I think if you’re going to change the vase and change the arrangement, I should have been notified before delivery. I can’t upload the pic but anyone will agree it’s not the same arrangement at all.

We live several states away, but wanted to wish my daughter a Happy Birthday in Marina del Rey. We chose the “Designer’s Choice” bouquet. She received it and sent us a video. Beautiful! She loved it and said it brought her joy, like seeing a rainbow.
I know that the pictures don't always look like the actual product but in this case the eucalyptus leaves were the highlight of the arrangement and what attracted me to it and the actual arrangement came without ANYTHING that even remotely resembled this picture except the peach roses. Very disappointed :-(

I like ordering custom bouquets because they're always fresh, creative, unique, and delivered on time. No matter what the occasion, they've come up with something that is perfect. Five stars!
I very rarely complain about purchases, but the item was far inferior to the advertised product I paid for. I’d completely understand if a different colored flower was substituted, but the only similarity between the two was the vase it came in. It looked uneven, messy, wilted, and very poorly arranged with outdated red roses just shoved in there without any thought. The bouquet is supposed to be called ‘Home for the Holidays’ but the pine tree branches and succulents were omitted completely. This was sent to a business colleague and I’m honestly embarrassed.

It is always hard to order online as you never know what is actually in stock and what it will look like. I bought a plant basket for my friend’s mom who had just lost her husband and was wanting something that would last past when all of the many fresh flower bouquets were done. I bought a deluxe version (1 rank up from the regular) and it was truly stunning. They even replicated the colors in the picture by including some fresh cut yellow roses. The basket also included what looked like (from the picture the family shared with me) spider plants, succulents, and purple statice.
They were beautiful and looked better than the photo.

I can't say enough about the dedication of MDR florists to their customer. I ordered flowers for a funeral service and when they went to deliver them to the church, the church was locked with no one around. Instead of going back to the shop, as most florists would have done, they emailed and called me and had their driver stay there for over a half hour until someone finally showed up to accept deliver. Amazing dedication!

The streamlined/quick and easy process of ordering and same day delivery is incredible. The flowers were beautiful, however there were no snapdragons and the roses were red and yellow instead of orange and yellow. Red and yellow oranges with the other pink and green colors doesn't look great in my opinion, but she loved the flowers regardless. Thanks!

The roses were pretty and the delivery service was great! However, the arrangement as pictured had eucalyptus and the one that was delivered did not :( Bummed because one of the main reasons I chose that arrangement was for the eucalyptus. Also, the vase was different and smaller and overall the arrangement looked smaller than the one pictured (even though I ordered the larger arrangement).

Working with Marina Del Rey Florist was a joy. I live in Arizona and ordered a birthday arrangement for my daughter who lives in Los Angeles. I am always hesitant to order flowers from afar because I never know if the quality of the flowers and the service will meet my expectations.
There was a problem with the balloon order that I added on to the flower arrangement due to a short supply of helium. They contacted me immediately to let me know that they could not fulfill that request, and offered to send a box of chocolates or refund the balloon purchase. I asked if they could just add more flowers to the arrangement and they said it would be no problem.
My daughter loved them and they turned out beautiful and delivered quickly. I am so happy that I now have a designated florist to use for all of my orders in Los Angeles!

I have sent flowers to my friend from MDR florist 5 times over the past year. She always comments on how beautiful and long lasting the arrangements are, how much she likes them. This last time, there was some confusion regarding the delivery. The flowers were dropped off at the wrong building. When I decided to call and confirm, I let them know something didn't seem right. They checked into it, stayed in contact with me and kept me up to date on getting a replacement bouquet to my friend. They went out of the way to deliver an even nicer version and also delivered some chocolates at no charge for the inconvenience. I researched florists in the area and picked Marina Del Rey based on the great reviews. One of their options was "Designer's Choice" (flower arrangement designed with best flowers on hand). I also had the option of giving additional information and explained the arrangement was for a lifelong friend who was recuperating from major surgery. She lives in CA and I live in Texas and suddenly this distance was just too far away. I heard from my friend and her husband and they were incredibly effusive about how over-the-top gorgeous the flowers were. I was very pleased and would definitely use this florist again!

The service was fairly quick and very easy to use on a mobile phone. I’m not sure how the flowers looked when they arrived as I was not the recipient. I’m guessing they were OK but I could not ask so please or sympathy arrangements.

I ordered the Designer’s Choice for my sister’s birthday online. I could not be with my sister for her birthday so requested something special to be delivered to her.

I have received flowers from them as gifts from friends for years. They are STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL. I just ordered an arrangement for a friend who is ill and it was delivered in less than 24 hours. My friend was blown away. They are so reasonably priced I couldn’t believe it. $100 arrangement easily looks like $250. My only go to for flowers from now on. Sorry I waited so long!!
