Wilton Lee
We are a family owned and operated florist, proudly serving Berkeley and the east bay community. Lee's Florist & Nursery was established by Homer Lee in 1946. Wilton is a graduate of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo's Ornamental Horticulture Program. He is the second generation at Lee's Florist after taking over for his father.

Our subscriptions allow you to select a delivery frequency that best suits your needs - either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.
How often will I be billed?
You will be billed 5 days before the delivery schedule you select (either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly). This is to ensure your florist will have adequate time to prepare your order.
How do I make changes to my subscription plan?
You can call the florist any time before the scheduled delivery or pickup date to make changes to your subscription plan and orders.
Can I pause my subscription plan?
Yes, you can! contact us at (510) 843-0502, let us know the next best delivery date and we’ll pause your subscription.
How do I cancel my subscription plan?
We’d be happy to take care of that for you! Please contact us at (510) 843-0502 and we’ll cancel your subscription right away.

We live in Australia, and with the passing of our sister in San Francisco, we wanted to ensure delivery of a high quality, beautiful floral arrangement to her husband. We did a lot of online research and decided to order online through Lee’s Florist. Their website is excellent in clearly showing the range of sympathy flowers available at various prices, with scope for us to nominate day for delivery and add wording for a card. The ordering process was easy and seamless and we received a prompt confirmation email. Lee’s followed up with a photo of the actual arrangement which was stunning and then emails advising the flowers were out for delivery and again confirming delivery. The arrangement did not match the picture on the website, the arrangement that was sent was a lot more sparse than the website picture. My attempts to contact the florist before my order was send were unsuccessful - no one answered the phone and no one answered my email. Poor customer service.

Only the vase was substituted due to tariffs. As advertised, the standard Dendrobium Daze contains 10 stems of Dendrobium orchid with filler. We have no record of any email received. We are currently closed through the 22nd, which is why nobody was available to answer the phone.

Thank you for the ease of placing my order and for the perfect timing on making the delivery fo my daughter in Oakland. I only want to say that I was a disappointed in the lack of varieties of plants in the planter. The sample picture had a wider variety of textures (there was a string-of-pearls, some low ground cover types and a tall slim plant). I know not everything is always available but the finished planter had a crowded appearance. However, I’m pleased with Lee’s and will use you again in the future.

Although there was a mix-up with the delivery, Lee's Florist made things right in the end - and as you can see the arrangement was lovely! The online ordering process was easy, and their selection of arrangements for a funeral was expansive. That arrangement was not left randomly in the lobby, it was placed on top of the mailbox unit directly above the column with the recipient's unit number with the card information facing out. Typically at that address, we leave it with with the leasing office which is in that lobby, however the agents were away at the time of delivery, we were only able to gain access through a maintainece person.

And here's a pro tip for Lee's, and any good florist. If you have a little flexibility, just tell them what your budget is, and let the floral designer choose the flowers for you. That's the best way to get the freshest, most lovely, in-season flowers that are in the shop on THAT day. (It's almost never roses).

Even though there was only one person working today, it was done beautifully and delivered timely. Daughter was pleasantly surprised by the huge and pretty arrangement. Note that only an online order will receive confirmation and picture prior to delivery. Store opens at 11am so don't delay if you're ordering from out of state for same day service.

I was very disappointed that this florist did not call ahead as requested, so the roses were delivered to a doorstep. When I called to wish her happy birthday on the evening of the 25th, she had not received the roses I ordered for her. Today she looked outside the house. Sure enough, the roses were in a doorway she seldom uses. My sister therefore did not receive her birthday gift from me until the day after her birthday. So disappointed.

The flowers were outstanding. Only one suggestion which relates to the call before delivery. The recipient (in this case sister-in-law) did not recognize the name of the person calling and so was suspicious. Using the identifier that the call is from Lee Nursery and Florist would have made the process easier and better. Once delivery was made, it was great.

What an easy way to arrange a gift for my sister from 8,000 miles away in the middle of a pandemic! The mini Phaleonopsis orchid jumped off the Lee's Nursery website and said 'this is the one!' This is the first time i used Lee's Florist. I was very happy with them. The delivery was quick and the flowers looked very nice. And I had made a mistake on the card which was corrected. I liked the fact a picture was sent so I could see what I sent. I don't send very many flowers and this experience was a good one. I loved the Orchid and Rose Trio that I ordered as a Thank You gift for a friend yesterday. The roses, orchids and greens were all just gorgeous! The bright pink tissue paper and white cardboard box for presentation added to the beauty of it. My friend was thrilled with the bouquet! There were two problems: 1) the florist sent emails first telling me I could pick it up that same day and then telling me I had to order pick-up for a later day. That was very confusing. Fortunately he cleared up what he meant soon. (2) The cardboard box protecting the bouquet and glass vase was hard for my friend to remove. But once again the bouquet was gorgeous and that was most important!

So disappointing!! I have ordered from this florist many times over the years and always have been very pleased. We arrived in town today and was very embarrassed with the arrangement that was delivered. The flowers were sparse and looked nothing like the photo they had sent me. So glad I saw it in person or would have never known.

I sent flowers to my sister for her birthday. They were beautiful (she sent me a picture). I would have given five stars easily, except that I wanted her to experience the excitement of receiving delivery at the front door. I even left instructions on how to enter the building and said she was on the third floor. Instead, the flowers were left at the front office and she didn't receive a call. She happened to go downstairs to get her mail (which she only does about 2 or 3 times a week since she's disabled), and got them that way. She has cerebral palsy, so she could have easily dropped the vase while carrying them.

I usually pay for the "premium" edition of an arrangement. When I saw that the arrangement was no bigger than the picture on the website, I decided that maybe I was wasting my money doing the premium. I went back and read the description of the premium option and it said that more blooms would be added and that blooms of the highest quality would be used. I guess that means that if do not select the premium option then you will get a lesser quality flower? I expect all flowers to be of good quality and fresh. Given that I paid for the premium addition and had high expectations that it would be bigger than what was pictured I was disappointed. I would hate to see the regular version because it would have to be much sparser than what is pictured. Given that there is no way to see the comparison and the quality and lushness is completely arbitrary anyway, I think the premium option might just be a rip-off.

I ordered the Blue Dream from Lee's Florist for my mom's birthday since I couldn't be there in person for her. While it came on time, when my mom sent me the picture, I had to say I was pretty disappointed. It honestly, to me, looks like someone picked a lot of wildflowers and weeds by the creek and put them in a vase. My mom informed me that there were bulbs that weren't blooming yet and so there's the possibility that it might one day look like the picture but isn't the point of sending someone flowers to have it look super nice on arrival? I would attach pictures but I am unsure of how to on here. I did post pictures for comparison on yelp of what the depicted product looks like on the website versus what actually came. For a total of $56 I have to say it was a disappointment.

The delivery I ordered recently got confused. The business office was briefly locked, but I felt Lee's could have called the business, not the recipient, to ask when the office was open.

I highly recommend Lee's Florist and Nursery. They offer an easy to use website, and created a lovely one of a kind floral arrangement. The flowers are beautifully fresh and the vase is nice... not a generic, ugly vase. I got to actually talk to the floral designer who was nice to work with. The picture of the arrangement verses what was delivered was a huge disappointment. IT was an orchid terrarium, and the photo showed a couple of Orchids and the actual arrangement was one Orchid. For what I paid I was terribly disappointed.
