Treva Nitzschner
My husband and I moved to Leavenworth as part of his military assignment in the spring of 2014 and immediately fell in love with the Leavenworth community. We decided this was the place to retire from the military and thus welcomed the opportunity to own Leavenworth Floral and Gifts in July of 2015. I bring a passion for the floral industry with over 25 years of florist experience. My goal for Leavenworth Floral and Gifts is to see every customer’s face light up when they receive a floral arrangement they truly love.

The roses were nice, but the stems were much too long for the greenery that surrounded them. They looked a little out of place like a 6' 9" person would in amongst a bunch of 4' people. Flowers were basic (not fancy) and cheap chocolates. Cheapest price for them came to $76. Seems like an awful lot for this. I purchased fancier flowers (a dozen roses), fancy chocolates, and a card on the west coast and only paid $28. This didn't include delivery, but leavenworth floral delivery fee was only $8 out of this $76 and was only a block away.

I ordered this as a "get well" arrangement. The flowers were fresh and the delivered arrangement was quite similar to the pictured. It was odd though that I indicated that the addon balloon I ordered was for a baby boy yet a pink and gold "Happy Birthday" balloon arrived with it. Wonderful! The first time the delivery driver went to Mom's, she did not answer. I was so disappointed until I saw the follow-up email that they tried again and managed to complete the delivery. We are in another state and haven't been able to visit Mom due to the pandemic; her mother passed away a couple of weeks ago to add to the difficulties. This helped take the edge off! I purchased the Teleflora's Joyful Hearth Bouquet that had lots of oranges (which is my moms favorite color)and peach colors and the arrangement i received was primarily yellow and it looked just thrown together. The bouquet that was delivered to my friend was more white than anything. There was very little of the greenery/green flowers so the purple that was in the arrangement just didn't quite "pop" the way it does in the picture. But, at the end of the day, my friend was given a beautiful bouquet that made her feel loved and special, and that's all that really matters.

My husband and I are extremely annoyed that we just paid what we did for a 'deluxe' fruit basket (79.99, not including tax and delivery) in which the PLU/store stickers were left on the produce. This was suppose to be a quality, nice-looking gift for my mother-in-law, but the stickers ruined it.

I happened to be visiting my mother when her holiday flowers arrived. She liked them, and they are beautiful. My only concern is that they did not have as many yellow flowers in the bouquet, as illustrated in the picture of the arrangement I selected. The florist had called to leave me a message, saying that they did not have some of the yellow flowers in stock, as pictured. I guess that's "shame on me" for not calling back to make arrangements for alternate yellow flowers. Again, the bouquet was lovely, but it was a bit drab (too much white) in my opinion.
