As a local florist, Lavender has proudly provided flowers to the Groton area. We are family owned and operated. Our experienced designers are committed to offering fresh, creative floral arrangements and gifts, backed by service that is friendly and prompt. Because all of our customers are important, our professional staff is dedicated to making your experience a pleasant one. That is why we always go the extra mile to make your gift perfect.
ABOUT THE OWNER
Lisa Bohne
I have been a floral artist for over 30 years, 20 of which have been in Groton. My hope is that my love for flowers, plants and my unique designs create a meaningful experience for those seeing them. My first priority is for my customers, community and family. Our eco-friendly practices range from sustainable, local flowers too composting and avoiding plastics. My background in sculpture helps shape my appreciation for design and structure, making it possible to create many styles of arrangements. My favorite types of arrangements highlight the natural beauty of the flowers. French Country, Natural Garden, Whimsical and Boho are some of my favorite styles. I am truly grateful to be working with such beauty and bring it to others. We enjoy visitors stopping in while frequenting Dunkin Donuts or Filhos Cucina. We enjoy partnering with The Groton Inn, Gibbet Hill, and The Herb Lyceum, as well as Lawrence Academy and Groton School. It is always wonderful to be a part of this community.

Our subscriptions allow you to select a delivery frequency that best suits your needs - either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.
How often will I be billed?
You will be billed 5 days before the delivery schedule you select (either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly). This is to ensure your florist will have adequate time to prepare your order.
How do I make changes to my subscription plan?
You can call the florist any time before the scheduled delivery or pickup date to make changes to your subscription plan and orders.
Can I pause my subscription plan?
Yes, you can! contact us at (978) 448-8411, let us know the next best delivery date and we’ll pause your subscription.
How do I cancel my subscription plan?
We’d be happy to take care of that for you! Please contact us at (978) 448-8411 and we’ll cancel your subscription right away.

I wish there were more pussy willows in what we got. There were only two stems and in the picture there looks like there’s more. We always seem to have problems with one of the flowers. I don’t know the name of it, but they tend to die within the first day. We just pluck them out.

Visited family in Dunstable this week. Was looking for high end florist with unique arrangement for delivery today. (Ordered Wednesday evening. Either nearby Nashua NH florists wouldn't deliver in Mass even though only a few miles away, or another florist only wanted to do weddings or another didn't have a full website allowing ordering or another just had 75 pics of "flowers in vase". After calling the shop I learned that they had just received a lovely batch of fresh perennials. What my daughter received was SO much prettier than the geraniums I thought she was going to get.

I had an idea for an arrangement for a friend, but couldn't find exactly what I wanted on the website. It was on a day that the shop was closed and I was hoping to have the delivery the next day. I used the "custom bouquet" selection and described what I was looking for (a wildflower arrangement with sunflowers and succulents). They (Lisa) got back to me 1st thing in the morning, promised to deliver that same day and understood what I was looking for. She sent me a picture of the arrangement...it was absolutely beautiful! I hope they never change the style in that they arrange because their flowers are so different from other florists because of the time and care given to make it unique and stunning, instead of basic. I purchased the most expensive version of this arrangement for my mother for Mother’s Day because the basic one looked beautiful in the picture, so I figured the biggest one would look stunning. Well the bouquet that was delivered to her was not even comparable to the one shown in the picture. It was very small, had very few flowers, and the vase was not even nice. I called the next day to express my disappointment and they did send someone out to pick up the flowers to fix them, but upon seeing the updated arrangement, I am even more displeased. The arrangement that was put together is so much smaller than what was advertised and I most certainly did not get what I paid for. I have used Lavender many times in the past and have had some good arrangements done and some not so good ones. But this last time was such a disappointment that I will no longer give Lavender my business.

I was a bit disappointed that my order wasn't able to be delivered the the day requested. After calling, I thought it would be delivered the next day, and it wasn't. I drove to the shop and delivered it myself. By day 3 the roses had started to wilt, and it looked tired. I had a very complicated experience with Lavender. I put in my order about two weeks in advance for Mother's Day because I was going to be out of the country. I purchased a fairly expensive ($120+) arrangement. On Mother's Day, I Skyped with my mother and let her know she would be getting a delivery of flowers. She sat outside on her porch waiting for them for almost four hours and they never arrived. Finally my husband called the florist and she didn't have a record of my order (even though I had an order number and had been charged more than a week before). After two or three more calls the florist realized the company who fields her orders never sent mine along. Kindly, the florist stayed late to make my mother's flowers and personally delivered them; however, it was nearly 9pm by the time they arrived, with my mother leaving on a business trip at 6am the next morning. So my flowers were extremely late, my mother couldn't enjoy them, and I was still charged full price. While I can't fully blame the florist for this confusion, it was still a very disappointing result.
