About the Shop
Award-winning family florist serving Seattle since 1968.
We offer daily floral arrangement delivery to the Greater Seattle area as well as wedding, event and sympathy designs.
Our most recent accomplishments include taking first place and "People's Choice Award" for best designs at the Northwest Flower and Garden Show 2019. Our family also specializes in wedding and event floral design, taking top honors at the Seattle Wedding Show. We have also been nominated as "Best Florist" by Seattle news station King 5.
There are no minimums on wedding or event flowers.
Substitution Policy
In some instances, the florists’ photo may represent an overall theme or look and include a one-of-a-kind vase which cannot be exactly replicated. Although the actual bouquet may not precisely match the photo, its temperament will. Occasionally, substitutions of flowers or containers happen due to weather, seasonality and market conditions which may affect availability. If this is the case with the gift you've selected, the local florist will ensure that the style, theme and color scheme of your arrangement is preserved and will only substitute items of equal or higher value.
Delivery Policy
Every gift ordered through BloomNation is personally hand-delivered by the local florist. Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.
Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received cut-off times for same-day delivery that are based off of the recipient’s time zone. Florists that offer same day delivery display their same-day delivery cut-off time in their store detail section. Orders received after that time may be delivered the following day. Please note some florists may not make deliveries on Sunday.
To request a specific delivery time, please type it into the Special Instructions field during checkout. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences. Before major holidays, we recommend that you place your orders at least five days in advance.

Really wonderful experience. I will definitely use LaVassar again. This was my first time. I sent my daughter flowers (medium size) and the shop emailed me a photo of them before they delivered. Ordered on the behalf of a business for a colleague having surgery. We are out-of-state and reached out directly to LaVassar Florists before completing an online order. LaVassar got back to us immediately and answered all of our questions, and gave some helpful additional information, so we felt comfortable proceeding with our order. Our colleague appreciated these beautiful, colorful flowers and snapped a picture to share with us. They looked just as good as the advertised picture, if not better, since we purchased the deluxe with additional fill.
