The only thing I was a little disappointed about was that the arrangement didn’t look quite the same as the photo. I understand that flowers are seasonal, but I would have been happier if the colors were at least closer to those in the photo. Other than that, the person who received the flowers was very happy. I went out of my way to order the flowers in person. I was shown an all white arrangement which was beautiful and was to have yellow roses added to the white for a funeral. The flowers sent looked nothing like what I purchased in the shop and were a complete disappointment. I was embarrassed that the family would think I would send such a terrible arrangement. I specifically said no daisies and that was the main part of the arrangement. It looked like a bunch of left over flowers from the week before, absolutely the furthest thing possible from what I ordered in person. I wanted to start using the same florist but sadly I will not be back. You need to delivery what is agreed upon.

The website was easy to use and the delivery was made as requested. But a bit of a bait and switch.

The flowers were pretty, but nowhere near the quality shown in the picture on the website. The arrangement had more “fillers” than actual flowers. I paid way too much ($118 w/delivery) for what we received. Could have gotten the same thing at a grocery store for $20.

It isn’t good business to take advantage of your online customers. If I had come in to pick this up I would have refused it.

Completely disappointed. My floral arrangement was for a funeral memorial service at a church. And thou on the website it clearly says time is NOT guaranteed, I called to explain the timeliness of delivery is crucial - and the company said they deliver to this church frequently and understand the situation - it will be no problem. I also clearly outlined the time specifics and concerns in my order form. As well as in a separate email.

Many many floral arrangement were delivered and set up before the start of the service (obviously once it started, the doors were closed for late deliveries). My order was only 1 of 2 that were not received in order to be placed for the Memorial Service

I recently ordered an arrangement for my anniversary, and I have to say that I was extremely disappointed with what I received.The flowers were not arranged as nicely as I had hoped, and some of them were already wilting when they arrived and the vase it came in had nothing to do from what I ordered. I paid extra for a premium quality but I feel like the quality of the arrangement was not worth the money I spent, and I am left feeling disappointed and let down. The arrangement was delivered on time and the recipient stated that it was beautiful. However, it did not reflect the arrangement I had chosen. It is true that I was contacted and told that they would have to use short-stemmed callas instead of long stemmed, which was fine because I assumed the arrangement would still highlight the callas like the one I had ordered and paid for. It didn’t. It involved many more flowers than I had anticipated; the callas mixed in and blended, unlike the arrangement I had requested. While it was still beautiful and fulfilled the purpose, I was disappointed that I had paid higher-dollar than usual because of the callas, only to have them just be another flower in the arrangement. Had I known, I probably would have gone for a lesser-priced gift and asked to include some callas. Like I said, it still turned out well for the recipient, but I did not feel it was what my money had actually wanted to pay for—it was chosen with the recipient’s style in mind and the result was a very different style—and I had some regrets.

However, a picture of the actual bouquet that was created and delivered would have been a great customer service feature. The flower arrangement looked like the flowers that I ordered from the picture on the website.
This may not seem like a big deal to some, but I have used some of the "larger flower delivery services" before and what was delivered was not even close to the picture on the website that I ordered from.
I read the disclaimer on the "larger flower delivery services" website that claims a substitution policy, but when the size, shape, color of, and flowers used wasn't even close, I was disappointed and decided to look elsewhere.

The arrangement was beautiful and I appreciated the outreach when the exact flowers were unavailable on delivery day. What was delivered was generally in line with the photo of the bouquet we purchased but there were changes, namely to the primary lily bouquet and the number of bright yellow flowers at the bottom which were replaced with white. The communication was good letting us know about the changes to the lillies and the bouquet still came out very pretty! I wish more of the yellow wildflowers and featured lillies were available but still very satisfied overall!

There aren't enough stars to explain how unbelievably happy I was with everything! From the start to finish, everything went perfectly and better than I could have ever expected! I live in PA and was ordering flowers for my Grandmother who lives in CA. With everything going on, it wasn't a traditional year, she was going to be alone this year. Normally she has some family with her but, not this year. Last minute I decided to order flowers from Lake Forest Floral Design. I ordered Saturday morning, no option to have the flowers delivered on Sunday, Wednesday was the earliest. I was upset, but it was my fault, I should have ordered sooner. I received a call Sunday morning from Lake Forest Floral Design, they said they wanted to choose one delivery to make happen on Sunday vs. waiting until Wednesday and out of 50 orders, they choose ours. I began to cry, this meant the WORLD to me and I know it was going to make my Grandmothers day. It was beyond special!!!!! I AM SOOO THANKFUL for them! They are so amazing, I cant say it enough! Hi, I wanted to take a moment and thank you for the great experience you delivered for me and my mom! She lives in Lake Forest and I wanted to have flowers delivered for her birthday today. I live in NorCal, so I did a google search and ended up finding your listing on Yelp.

It’s always a gamble ordering things online, especially something like a bouquet where you can see the freshness and quality you’re purchasing. The ordering process was very simple and I really loved how the message was converted online into a font that looks like handwriting. It made it feel much more personal than just being typed out.

The flowers arrived today and she sent me a picture...the arrangement looked great and the flowers looked super fresh and beautiful. I couldn’t tell if the card was actually handwritten or printed, but either way it was a very nice touch.

Delivery was as schedule. The flowers were not good quality. This was my first time buying from here and wanted to try a new place. The flowers died in two days. Good quality flowers usually last 4-5 days. Total embarrased that the person I gave the flowers to tells me that the flowers are already dead. Went to visit and sure enough the flowers were dead. I spent so much money on this that I should have gone to LA to the flower distric and would have done way better.

I ordered the roses displayed for my Valentine of 20 years. The flowers and arrangement was beautiful! Actually more beautiful than the picture. We have them on the kitchen table and there is so much height, it reaches up to our chandelier.

One caveat - if getting delivered to a place of business, make sure the receiver knows they are coming. Sometimes if they are delivered to a security or front desk, they may not notify the recipient. This is not the florists fault. it happened to me, so lesson learned!

But overall beautiful design, flowers really firm and healthy, and great price!

One star only.
We selected the “Sunny Smiles”’for three reasons:

1. Yellow vase
2. Roses due to fragrance
3. Lilies due to fragrance.

Bouquet delivered had NONE of these items and a plain, clear vase. The vase and flowers “substituted” were much cheaper quality. Very disappointed in quality of flowers / vase. We paid for more-expensive flowers (roses and lilies) and a non-clear, generic vase.

I would expect a refund of (some) of the cost of the bouquet due to total use of (cheaper) items.

The one positive was prompt delivery as guaranteed.

I wanted to order from a florist located near my sister in California. I read reviews of Lake Forest Floral Design then ordered on line from out of state. I received a phone call with a nice message that my order was hand delivered, when and to whom, which was helpful to me.
I also received an email with that information. When talking to my sister I learned that she had received three flower arrangements; mine and two sent from different local florists but that my arrangement was just beautiful and she was so pleased. One of her other arrangements arrived with a broken vase and no card but the arrangement from Lake Forest Floral Design was superb! So glad I found them and am very pleased with the timely manner and beautiful arrangement sent, making this special occasion even more special. Would order again in the future.

Lake Forest Floral Design's web page is very friendly to navigate. Placing an order online is very easy with one exception. It was not clear to me what info was needed for the recipient. I was sending my bouquet to a family at church. Maybe adding another data field would be helpful. Communication is excellent; however, I am unsure if my greeting card was corrected as I had asked. I forgot to add who the bouquet was from. I emailed them to add the name. When I received an email that the bouquet was delivered, it showed the greeting card without the sender's name on it. That's a big deal! I would use Lake Forest Floral again, however.
