We provide same day delivery for birthdays, anniversary, just because, love, I'm sorry, get well, sympathy and any other reason you can think of! If you want to grab and go in the shop, we have ready-made bunches and pre-made arrangements for your convenience. In addition, the flower market is a “create your own” fresh cut flower market where you can build your own arrangement, bundle or single flower bulk, very similar to a European Flower Market…but inside! . Kim Hume, having experienced the passing of her mother, decided life was too short not to pursue dreams and the corporate world was not for her any longer. She enjoyed arranging flowers, knew others shared the same passion and wanted a better way to express this love. The vision was of a unique flower market and floral design shop that invites customers to experience the joy in choosing their own flowers to create a one-of-a-kind bouquet. The idea of La Fleur Fresh Flower Market was born. A comfortable, community-based shop with fresh ready-to-go arrangements and daily market bunches. La Fleur is a space to provide direction and encouragement to those who want to express themselves and design their own vase of flowers. In addition, it also provides the community with the more typical florist aspects with design-to-order, fresh flower same-day delivery and the option for pick-up of their custom make arrangement. Designed with a custom walk-in cooler, a DIY counter, a varied selection of vases, an assortment of ribbons, books, and swap cart for customers to bring their unwanted vases. The idea came to life in February 2017 and has continued to bloom from there. Kim added monthly public flower party classes which gained a group of loyal customers that return for every class and always welcome new attendees. Private classes can also be arranged for 6-12 attendees. From the start, La Fleur is a family endeavor. The idea was developed essentially from Kim’s mother. When Kim was growing up in St. Louis her mother, Alice, was an entrepreneur also. She started a small upscale bathroom accessory shop. She had luxurious towels and unique collections of shower curtains, soap dispensers, soap dishes, toothbrush holders and so on. Her shop name was La Bathtique! So Kim, crediting her mother for instigating the flower shop, named it with her memory firmly in mind. Upon deciding to start a business, Kim’s kids were involved from the get-go. They all celebrated the finding of the perfect spot, bummed out by city permitting delay, and cheered on the day of opening. Whether it was heavy lifting from her son, beginning inventory count from her daughters, welcoming first customers, they all were involved. La Fleur continues to be a “family” endeavor with the community and an abundance of delighted, repeat customers.

I found La Fleur on Google and liked their website. I was trying to send flowers to my best friend who lives in Austin, and I live in the Houston area. UPDATE This morning an email was sent to me with a note from the flower shop. They made the exact bouquet as pictured and delivered it. (Which was BEYOND AMAZING but completely unnecessary) The recipient was so touched, as was I. This is why you go with a local florist and not an 800 service!

On this particular order, They went above and beyond to deliver [way] outside their delivery area to accommodate me - their longtime customer. I sent a text to the number that called me to get directions to the recipient, requesting a photo, but did not receive an answer.
The recipient reports that some of the flowers in the arrangement are clearly old, all blooms are completely open, and though the arrangement is nice, the flowers' condition promises no more than one or two days before needing to be discarded.

A choose the mid level designer’s choice (for $75). The designer created a sophisticated look and their choice of flowers was exactly what I was looking for. Also, I appreciated them texting me a photo of the arrangement before delivery and a text after they were delivered. I would have given them a 5, but, although hard to be sure from a photo, the arrangement appeared smaller than expected.

I was very pleased with the flowers I got for my wife. I had made a request for adding some daisies to the bouquet and they did a fantastic job granting my wish. The delivery was on time, and the driver very courteous. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

La Fleur is where I buy flowers for great service and quality. I live outside of Austin and order flowers for my daughter from La Fleur. Always made on time delivery and use quality flowers for bouquets. I’ve tried other online flower service but their low quality flowers name delivery is delayed. Will continue using La Fleur for all my flower needs in Austin area.

It was easy to order on line. Kim even called the day of delivery to confirm the spelling of the name of recipient. I loved that they sent me a picture of the actual vase of flowers. (It matched the one recipient sent, so I know it was factual). I won’t hesitate to order from them again.

Beautiful arrangement, exceptional customer service. I neglected to note that I didn’t want any lilies in the arrangement (very toxic to cats, of which the receipient has two). I called them just to let them know the issue. They asked if there was anything that they could do and I said no, because I thought the error was mine. They went ahead and delivered replacement flowers for the lilies! Fantastic!!!

Every gift ordered through BloomNation is personally hand-delivered by the local florist. Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.

Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received cut-off times for same-day delivery that are based off of the recipient’s time zone. Florists that offer same-day delivery display their same-day delivery cut-off time in their store detail section. Orders received after that time may be delivered the following day. Please note some florists may not make deliveries on Sunday.

To request a specific delivery time, please type it into the Special Instructions field during checkout. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences.
