Kawa Flowers

My parents order me a bouquet of flowers from Kawa each year on my bjrthday and every time it is SPECTACULAR. The Pinterest and Instagram arrangements you see for weddings, events, and luxury hotels? These arrangements are even better. In an era of 1-800-Flowers, Kawa’s floral arrangements are an art form and are truly meaningful. My only wish would be that they could last longer than a few days, but that just makes them all the more precious.

I contacted Kawa Flowers on a Friday afternoon with a request to have flowers delivered to a family member who was performing at the PCC Performing Arts Center that weekend. I was certain they would not be able to help me with my request on such short notice. I am in Texas and was not able to attend this performance but knew how much it would mean to my niece to be recognized all the way from Texas! Not only did the owner create a beautiful arrangement for me within two hours but also delivered it herself that evening and made sure it was placed in the right hands to make it to my niece before her performance. My niece was so surprised and it meant the world to her!
I cannot thank the owner of Kawa Flowers enough for going above and beyond to make sure my request was taken care of. She went out of her way to pull off a difficult request and also sent me pics of the arrangement and the card that was delivered!
I would highly recommend this flower shop to anyone who is looking for a shop that truly cares about their customers!

This is my second time utilizing Yeon's expertise for a special day, and the second time the intended recipient was blown away by her arrangement. The picture speaks for itself, I am always impressed by the quality of the flowers, the vibrant colors, and the masterfully curated bouquet that arrives at my doorstep.

Besides the flowers, Yeon is also very accommodating and will remain flexible with delivery if it is within reason. She delivers almost to the tee, meaning +/- 5 minutes from the time the both of you agree on. As someone with a busy schedule, this is so important to have a reliable ETA for delivery, and very appreciated.

If you want to go the extra mile and present something memorable, do not hesitate on ordering from Yeon. Amazing!

Kawa flowers is by far the best flower shop this side of the river. If you were thinking about any type of arrangement.
I would definitely recommend you giving Kawa flowers the opportunity to make your arrangement. I needed to have one done on the spot on a very busy day And they were able to not only get me in for same-day delivery but also with the most beautiful arrangements you can imagine. A great shop. This was for family in SW Portland, and I was shopping from the east coast. I could not be more pleased. Prior to delivery, a text image of the arrangement was sent. My approval was acknowledged, the writer provided their name. Another text arrived as the flowers went out for delivery. And yet another upon delivery. Fantastic experience with Kawa. I love supporting a local business, especially one that has stellar customer service. I was not disappointed!

I placed my order online since I don't live in the Portland area and didn't know of a good local florist. Kawa florist is a real artist. The flower arrangement was so colorful and thoughtful. The flowers in the photo she sent me to see the arrangement beforehand looked like a still life painting. I called and inquired if I could order an arrangement for my sister-in-law who lost her sister. I didn't know what to ask for. However with my sister-in-law flying out on the weekend (2 days later) and gone for several weeks, we wanted to send flowers ASAP. The next morning, owner/designer called to confirm my order and let me know she was at flower market picking up additional white flowers to go with muted colors for an appropriate arrangement we had discussed!

The flowers are fresh and had numerous different types. The photo, shared prior to deliver, reflected gracefulness, movement, beauty and class during this sad event. The flowers were delivered by mid-afternoon. My sister-in-law text me and loved the beautiful arrangement. Great turnaround with short notice.

Awesome Service! Basically, if you trust the florist, you let her design with seasonal flowers. I saw an arrangement I thought my wife would like, and asked her to make one "in the same vibe" as the one on her website. (not all arrangements can be made due to availability and what not of flowers, plants). And she did! Take a look at the photo... specifically asked to change the flower and not be limited to pastels, and to have it be "hangy". I thought she did a great job! Wife loved it. Would definitely order from again... and absolutely leave it to the whim/vision of the florist... you won't be disappointed!

This experience has been great from start to finish. I called on a Saturday, not expecting to reach anyone, and spoke to Yeon. She answered my questions and indicated that the flowers I was looking for were not in season. Regardless, I went ahead with my order since the photos on their site were so beautiful. I'm so happy I found Kawa Flowers! I live out of state in NY and wanted to send flowers to a friend locally in Portland. I found Kawa online. I called and told her what I was looking for in a birthday bouquet for my daughter. She was very kind and helpful, made up the bouquet within a few hours and I picked it up since I live out-of-town.

Yeon (the florist) is amazing! She helped me with a same-day delivery for my mom's birthday (I called for a Sunday delivery but I found that florists are typically closed). I commented on one of the other more expensive arrangements on her site but picked the Designer's Choice Deluxe (less expensive) - and I noticed she made it as close as possible to the one I had commented on! This is the second time using Kawa Flowers and I will never use a different florist in the Portland area. The service is top notch, including a picture before delivery as well as texts upon delivery. But the real value is in the flower arrangements. After researching to find a florist close to Tigard from my home in Sacramento, CA, I stumbled upon Kawa Flowers. I wanted same day delivery and, after looking at Kawa Flowers' website, picked up the phone to see if it was possible. I spoke with Yeon, who asked what I was looking for (get well flowers for after surgery) and what I wanted to spend, so we settled on the $145 Designer's Choice arrangement. She assured me that the flowers would be delivered this afternoon, and kept in touch via text as to her progress. The arrangement photo showed flowers beyond any I've ever seen (admittedly through FTD which is usually disappointing) - it looked like a painting! She emailed me a receipt and sent texts letting me know that the flowers had been delivered as well as a text to the recipient. I am so pleased with Yeon's flower arrangement skills, as well as her communication and customer service.

My wife’s birthday is on a Sunday, it was the Saturday before when I called. I didn’t realize they were closed on Sunday and began to panic when they explained it was too late in the day to deliver that day.

This was by the best flower buying experience I have had. I called and asked to have the bouquet created and delivered the same day. This arrangement for my daughter's birthday was gorgeous. We live in Virginia and our daughter lives in Portland and I had no idea which florist to choose but I hit the jackpot! I gave very little direction, only chose the deluxe option as it was during the pandemic and you can't choose what they don't have, so I took my chances and was rewarded completely. I showed the photo to a friend who is a master arranger in our garden club and she said "it's gorgeous and so 'unfloristy'" which is a compliment!
