Katharina Stuart Floral Art and Design
Katharina began exploring the beauties of the natural world in spectacular Switzerland, at an early age. Her desire to bring the awe-inspiring beauty of the outdoors into the home, ignited her passion for floral design. Katharina is a third generation avid gardener and nature lover whose decision to become a professional floral designer has led to an enjoyable 30 years of experience in the floral industry. A lively passion for natural materials and a creative flair enables her to put together the most captivating combinations that create a perfect union. Katharina’s unique and unexpected color fusions intrigue all. She has an artistic eye that is continually scanning for new elements for further inspiration. Katharina Stuart has commanded the respect of the floral and event industry. She took first place at the California State Floral Association’s Top Ten Design Competition in 2005, was the runner up at the SAF Sylvia Cup 2007, won the San Francisco Cup in 2015 and was the winner at the FTD Americas Cup in Philadelphia in 2018. Katharina then proudly represented the United States in the FTD World Cup 2019 in Philadelphia.

Truthfully, I chose this place based on location to the recipient. The arrangements on the website looked unique but in my experience sometimes the website does not match what is actually sent. This absolutely is not the case with Katharina Stuart Floral & Design. The arrangement was above and beyond what was pictured and the recipient loved it. I was lucky enough to see the delivered product on the day of delivery and not only was it beautiful it was innovative and showed that the person who created the arrangement cared about what they put out. I ordered two arrangements and they were both stunning! Very similar to what was pictured online, high-quality and unusual flowers, not carnations and mums, like some other florists provide. Delivered same day that I ordered! Lovely! For some reason, I ordered through Bloom nation instead of directly through Katharina Stuart, So an extra service fee was charged. The second arrangement I was more careful in ordering directly through the florist. Kind of a pain on both websites, you can only order one arrangement at a time.

I placed my order on Monday night, and the arrangement was delivered in Oakland (Mills College area) on Tuesday afternoon. I didn't see the arrangement in person, but the recipient said the flowers were beautiful.

I live in Michigan so had to get online to find a florist in California. The gentle, caring, and professional person to whom I spoke on the phone sold me right away as the florist I had been looking for. When she said the delivery fee was $10, that could have made my choice. When I looked at the arrangements, I loved every one of them and studied for a long time before making a difficult choice as they were all stunning. She answered my call right away. Kat was pleasant and very easy to talk to. She was easy going and very professional. I received a round white clay pot instead of a metal one in the picture, also the scale is wrong, as I received something about half the size of the one pictured.
I was also expecting some brighter colors too.

Every gift ordered through BloomNation is personally hand-delivered by the local florist.
Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.
Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received
cut-off times for same-day delivery that are based off of the recipient’s time zone.
Florists that offer same-day delivery display their same-day delivery cut-off time in
their store detail section. Orders received after that time may be delivered the
