We are a proud women-owned floral business with over 20 years of experience, serving Old Town Alexandria. Our goal is to be more than a traditional flower shop—we create unique, memorable designs that tell a story. Whether it’s a wedding, birthday, anniversary, or special event, we bring your vision to life with flowers crafted from the heart.
I’m Kas, owner of Kas Flower Shop. Flowers didn’t just inspire me—they saved me. I grew up in Sri Lanka surrounded by lotuses and water lilies, and even as a child, I was in love with their beauty. When I moved to the U.S. at 18, life wasn’t easy—I had to put my college dreams aside and work to support my family. For 25 years, I was a florist, and during some of the hardest times—raising three kids and surviving an abusive marriage—designing flowers became my peace. It healed me when nothing else could. Now, through my own shop, I want to share that same light. Flowers gave me hope, and my mission is to create arrangements that lift hearts and turn hard days into beautiful ones.

How will I receive a new bouquet?
Our subscriptions allow you to select a delivery frequency that best suits your needs - either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.
How often will I be billed?
You will be billed 5 days before the delivery schedule you select (either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly). This is to ensure your florist will have adequate time to prepare your order.
How do I make changes to my subscription plan?
You can call the florist any time before the scheduled delivery or pickup date to make changes to your subscription plan and orders.
Can I pause my subscription plan?
Yes, you can! contact us at (703) 862-4875, let us know the next best delivery date and we’ll pause your subscription.
How do I cancel my subscription plan?
We’d be happy to take care of that for you! Please contact us at (703) 862-4875 and we’ll cancel your subscription right away.

Delivery Details & Tips
Every gift ordered through BloomNation is personally hand-delivered by the local florist.
Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.
Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received
cut-off times for same-day delivery that are based off of the recipient’s time zone.
Florists that offer same-day delivery display their same-day delivery cut-off time in
their store detail section. Orders received after that time may be delivered the
following day. Please note some florists may not make deliveries on Sunday.
To request a specific delivery time, please type it into the Special Instructions field
during checkout. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences.
Before major holidays, we recommend that you place your orders at least five days in
advance.
