I sent this bouquet to my sister who loves flowers. It was beautiful and expertly designed. I appreciated the extra care that was put in to make sure that she would be home to receive it since it was about 100 degrees outside and the arrangement would have been damaged. She was so excited about the richness of the colors. We always think of Karen's of Calvert first for our floral needs. We trust that the designs will be stunning.

I’m in NC and when I received the confirmation, there was a typo in the card. I replied to the email and soon after, got a phone call. As a local business order, I support local business. I have used Karen's on numerous occasions without any issues, until yesterday. I placed an order about 6am, at 4pm I had not heard if a delivery had been made. I called and the person who answered sounded confused, and unable to find my order! Thirty minutes later I received a voice mail that the flowers were delivered and left out side the door. No telling how long they were there in 30 degrees. In addition, I had to spoil the surprise and call the receipient and ask her to check outside a side door! Poor customer service.

I ordered flowers from another florist for a funeral way in advance. On the day of the viewing I received a cancellation message that they were not going to be able to fulfill my order. I immediately got online and began searching for another florist. I knew of other’s who had placed orders with Karen, so I went ahead and did so. I have not seen the bouquet personally. I sent it to my girlfriend in Maryland. I live in Virginia. She called me and was thrilled with the flowers and said they were absolutely beautiful. This is not my first time using Karen’s florist. I have previously sent flowers to my longtime friend, for her birthday and for Christmas and each time she lets me know that they were beautiful. I ordered the small garden greenery basket and added a not that I would like to add some fresh flowers to brighten it up and email me with the charge for the additional flowers. Not only did they deliver it first thing in the morning but added gorgeous star gazer lilies and other blossoms. Amazing that they did not even charge me extra!!!

I was a little disappointed it didn't look anything like the picture on this item. Dish garden was really, really small. In all fairness though, I did say the dish garden did not need to be humongous but the 4 white roses were important (roses were beautiful). So perhaps my own notes messed me up. I did not particularly care for the plant with small yellow flowers either. I thought it would be all this beautiful greenery as pictured, with just the white roses. Thank you though, I appreciate your efforts, and have a blessed day.

I value customer service and that is typically about recovery. Karen's customer service was excellent and the final arrangement turned out well. They didn't have the sunflowers that were pictured, but called immediately in the morning (I ordered the night before online and time was of the essence). I had liked 2 arrangements pictured on the website when I placed the original order. The representative pulled up the other arrangement and offered to improvise something in between the two. The final arrangement was beautiful (fitting the purpose and person in mind) and I was very satisfied.
