I ordered the deluxe hand tied tulip bouquet for someone. She sent me a picture of the bouquet when it arrived. At first I was concerned that it looked like there wasn’t as many tulips as I had hoped. But I was wrong. There were 30 tulips that were fresh with tight flowers that just needed to expand when in the vase. This is the best way of receiving tulips- they will get better over the next two days and will be enjoyed longer. Weir Florist delivered them when I asked (early in day) answered my questions, and the bouquet was beautiful. I was glad to give my trade to a local business, not a website conglomerate.

James Weir has been in the neighborhood since forever. Estella is incredibly knowledgeable, a gifted arranger with fabulous taste and eye for detail, and runs a tight ship (no matter how chaotic it sometimes seems in there!). I buy flowers from her at least a couple dozen times a year, they are always beautiful and I have almost never had a need to stray (if she sold Christmas trees then I’d buy those too). She is also heavily invested and engaged in the community, and an active leader in the Montague Street BID. What a great neighbor and jewel of the hood.
