Hirni's Wayside Gardens has been a family owned business for over 50 years. We pride ourselves in having the freshest and most creative flower arrangements on a daily basis. The assortment always includes Spring, Tropical, and Exotics. We maintain an extensive selection of Orchid plants, indoor/patio green plants and other blooming plants. We also have an extensive selection of gourmet and goodie items for gift and fruit baskets. We have same day delivery to all of the Miami/Dade county area.

I was disappointed in this "designer choice" bouquet I sent my sister. The usual order of tropicals was disappointedly not available and I chose the designers choice as a substitute with the assurance that it was always a good choice. While it was sort of pretty, there were too many inexpensive daisies in my opinion and the whole composition and colors chosen was underwhelming. First time I have been disappointed in a Hirni's order and am not sure what I will do come Christmas when I always have an arrangement delivered.

The picture on the web site did not look droopy and have such muted colors. There was not a spot of cheer in the whole arrangement. The arrangement was meant for my daughter’s doctor’s hospitalized wife.
I was going to ask them to make a new arrangement or to give me my money back but decided to just drop the matter. It seems like they were just having a bad week.
I called the florist after leaving an on line order and found out that the delivery time wouldn’t be until after 2pm. The doctor’s office where I was sending the flowers would be closed by then.I therefore told the florist let’s do the delivery for tomorrow morning instead. The receptionist said fine and assured me the order would go out the next am and be delivered before 2 pm. When I called in the next day at 10 am the receptionist informed me once again the flowers would not arrive until after 2 pm and that they rarely do specific time deliveries and that further more if they do there’s an added charge. I ended up having to have my daughter drive me to pick up the flowers and and we delivered the flowers ourselves before 2 pm. I looked at the bill latter and the delivery charge was still there. I had to call in to have it removed rather than it being donevautomatically.
The flowers were very sad looking. The picture on the web site did not look droopy and have such muted colors. There was not a spot of cheer in the whole arrangement. The flowers were meant to cheer up his wife whom had just lost a pregnancy.
The arrangement was heavy and much to big for the doctor to carry to his wife that was ill in the hospital. He ended up having to leave them at his office.
Now let’s see how a florist who usually has excellent customer service rectified this matter. Maybe they can deliver a smaller arrangement to the same address before 2 pm?

Since the arrangement was a designers choice, with no specifications, there isn't a picture to follow. It is just that a "designers choice" arrangement. As far as the size it was not specified to be a small arrangement. Given the price it would typically be a large arrangement. Regarding, the refund for the delivery fee, we typically make any price adjustment at the end of the day, as it was an online order and the process (going through a third party) is a little different than if you had called it in. Your refund was made the same day and would have been had you called or not. Unfortunately, we can't deliver to all areas at all times. We have drivers come in on certain days/times that do certain areas. We try to accommodate time requests but it is not always possible. Please give us a call!

Many thanks to Hirni’s for using its beautiful “rain forest” design to create the perfect floral arrangement for a funeral.
It was very important to the senders, most of whom could not attend the funeral, to show our love and support for our friend by having flowers that reflect who she is. The typical funeral arrangement would not have achieved that.
Hirni’s did so well that our friend wrote: “Thank you guys for the beautiful flower arrangement. I love that it was so colorful and tropical! It’s the only arrangement I took home! Thank you for your thoughtfulness and your friendship. Love you guys!”

Went into shop to talk about the arrangement I had bought two weeks ago and was not happy with as most flowers did not open. Definitely did not even look like one in picture. According to the lady in Hirnis the buds halfway up and to the top of the dendrobium orchid spike “do not open”. Imagine a flower shop selling an arrangement where the flowers do not open!!!

This arrangement, entitled "You Are My Sunshine" looked NOTHING like the picture. The orchids were very dark looking, NOT YELLOW (like sunshine!) and the Sunflowers were sad. The whole reason for order this arrangement was because of the title you gave it.

I upgraded to the deluxe and asked for silver dollar eucalyptus to be added. Instead, they added areca palm leaves and it made the floral arrangement look like funeral flowers. Not at all what I envisioned .

I was frankly disappointed in the orchid arrangement. Although the orchids themselves were very nice, the arrangement did not match the picture on your website showing all the colorful orchids; they were plain white and not terribly interesting. The arrangement itself was very monochromatic with almost no splashes of color, just white and green.

I was terribly disappointed with the arrangement, it was nothing like the picture at all. There was no greenery between the orchids, and the same color used through the arrangement. Hirni's Wayside has been around forever! My family has been using this florist for over 50+ years (that I can remember) and did my wedding in 1975. They do an excellent job and we are never disappointed. Many times I have asked for the Designer's Choice (not knowing what it will look like) and they have been gorgeous...better than expected each time. I called the florist because I had not received my order by the time I selected, and they told me that the driver left the arrangement behind the recycling container, since nobody answered. I ordered an arrangement to be delivered on Dec. 15. I requested a delivery for noon-2pm. The order was made a week before. I called you to make sure the flowers were being delivered and was told the delivery person had left for the deliveries in the area for my delivery. The flowers were delivered 6pm although requested for a much earlier time. It was to be delivered to my daughter's workplace. At 6 pm the office was closed and noone was there. The delivery person called my daughter and she asked him for a delivery the following day. He said ok. To our dismay he left the flowers at the front door of the workplace overnight. The order was a birthday surprise for my daughter. Receiving the flowers on the day after her birthday was not what I paid for! It certainly was not the surprise I hoped for. I ordered Mother’s Day flowers for delivery in advance so they would be fresh and last longer. They were delivered late afternoon Thursday and by Friday mid day the water was already cloudy as if it had been arranged and sitting several days beforehand. The roses edges didn’t look fresh either, although the hydrangeas still did look fresh. Disappointing.

Hi I reached out about getting partially refunded for a bouquet. I just mentioned some of my mom’s favorite colors in the message for a custom bouquet and the whole bouquet arrived and was only blue and green (wi most of that green being accent flowers). The total was $65 and plus shipping $85. I’ve been to hirni’s before and made bigger, more colorful bouquets with more expensive flowers and have never paid for than $50. What my mom received was not what I asked for and most definitely not $65 and if it was I would like a breakdown of the cost by stem.

My family has used Hirni's for years when needed because of their lovely bouquets. I requested the 'Peaceful Mourning' bouquet for a dear friend and neighbor that passed away. His daughter mentioned that if I was going to send flowers, to please send a yellow bouquet with some daisies included as they were her father's favorite. I request this bouquet specifically because it was yellow (and asked to include some daisies in the florist instructions). I received a voice mail the day before the delivery to notify me that because of the holiday (not sure which holiday), that they did not have any yellow lilies and would use white lilies instead. That was very disappointing but, oh well. There were yellow roses included as part of the arrangement. I was even still, disappointed that there were no daisies on the bouquet at all, of any color. With that being said, the bouquet WAS beautiful. I just would have liked it if 'some' of the flowers were what I requested. I will still use Hirni's as they do have gorgeous arrangements. You may want to call when placing an order if you have a specific flower in mind to be sure they have them available.

The arrangement was beautiful but the Cala Lilly's used were almost black and it gave a funerary appearance the color shown here on your picture is what I was expecting. Overall the arrangement was good but I would next time specify either no Cala Lilly or the color to use.
