This dreamy arrangement inspired by the night sky, contrasting milky whites with vivid blues, violets, and purples. The tall vase is filled with various shades of delphinium, larkspur, and stock, along with blue thistle, purple lisianthus, lavender sweet peas, and topped with velvet-like anemones for a truly over the moon experience.

About the Shop
Hedge Fine Blooms is Charlottesville's premier custom florist, providing a diverse array of floral designs and a shopping experience inspired by a European flower market. Our floral artists use only high quality blooms and offer their expertise for unique arrangements, weddings and other events.
Originally founded in 2001, Hedge was purchased in 2007 by Karen Walker. A Vermont native and long-term Charlottesville resident, Karen is a talented designer with over a decade of experience creating arrangements and orchestrating events. She is constantly sourcing new flowers from an array of suppliers and growers, as well as occasionally foraging on her own property! Residing on a farm on the outskirts of Charlottesville, Karen is always looking for ways to further her commitment to sustainability. She is an enthusiastic supporter of local growers and works hard to support Virginia businesses.
Karen's creative and talented design staff is singularly focused to provide you with special floral presentations that help you mark birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, or even no reason at all! Our goal is to provide happiness through our flowers, and we hope that blooms from Hedge will become an established routine in your everyday life, as well as beautiful markers of special occasions. We are devoted to pleasing our clients through laughter, exquisite designs, and quality service.
Substitution Policy
In some instances, the florists’ photo may represent an overall theme or look and include a one-of-a-kind vase which cannot be exactly replicated. Although the actual bouquet may not precisely match the photo, its temperament will. Occasionally, substitutions of flowers or containers happen due to weather, seasonality and market conditions which may affect availability. If this is the case with the gift you've selected, the local florist will ensure that the style, theme and color scheme of your arrangement is preserved and will only substitute items of equal or higher value.
Delivery Policy
Every gift ordered through BloomNation is personally hand-delivered by the local florist. Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.
Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received cut-off times for same-day delivery that are based off of the recipient’s time zone. Florists that offer same day delivery display their same-day delivery cut-off time in their store detail section. Orders received after that time may be delivered the following day. Please note some florists may not make deliveries on Sunday.
To request a specific delivery time, please type it into the Special Instructions field during checkout. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences. Before major holidays, we recommend that you place your orders at least five days in advance.

While I have never actually seen the flowers that you've delivered to my aunt, your ordering process and follow up are excellent. Leslie phoned me on the morning of my scheduled delivery to say that there had been a big snow storm and they were trying to reach my aunt to confirm if her road had been cleared. When they could not reach my aunt, they put her arrangement on the delivery truck anyway. As it happens, the road was cleared but her long, steep, private driveway was not. Somehow, your delivery man made it up to her house and surprised her with the flowers. The flower arrangement for my friend was indeed beautiful. The customer service was the best. I called about 11 to order flowers with little real hope that they could be delivered the same day to Earlysville. But they promised to do it and by 2:30 my friend sent me a photo of her flowers! Thank you for continuing to bring a bit of much needed joy and sunshine to lives.
