ABOUT THE STORE
Glassy Mountain Florist

Glassy Mountain Florist is a small country flower shop who prides itself in making fresh and unique floral arrangements. All arrangements are made with love and care and any arrangement made will have to pass the owner’s inspection before leaving the shop. The floral staff loves animals and believes all pets need a home. Their philosophy is “Adopt, Don’t Shop”; therefore, a percentage of every sale goes to Dream Team Angels Rescue in California. It is a non-profit rescue for animals in danger of euthanasia. A quote from the staff “We believe all animals deserve to have a home.”

ABOUT THE OWNER
Lisa Bracewell

Having 28 years in a Human Resources background gives Lisa an inside edge on Customer Service and being able to understand someone’s needs. She is empathetic and has a uniquely creative mind. Her inspiration comes from a family history of growing flowers and she creates every arrangement in memory of her mother who passed away. Her mother always told her “You can do anything you set your mind to do!” Lisa loves to create all types of arrangements but her favorite arrangement is one in which she just lets her creative juices flow. You never know what she may create.

My mother lives in a nearby town and I am always looking to support a local business. Historically she has been very disappointed with the quality of the Mother’s Day flowers that have been delivered. This year my mom was beyond thrilled with the arrangement describing them as beautiful and full. My mom is not one for technology or I would submiit a photo. It sounds like they were exactly as described online and then some. This will definitely be my go to florist!

Ordering online with a florist you do not know is not an easy thing to do. I have done this several times, but I have never had the great service that I received from Glassy Mountain Florist. They sent me a photo of the floral arrangement I ordered. They contacted me when my brother would not answer his phone so they could deliver the flowers. I selected a purple and white mix of flowers and what they made was like the photo. Everyone who saw them at the funeral loved them. This florist is a gifted flower designer and is honest and provides great service. Use her, you will appreciate what the serice you get.

The only positive I can say is that the lady that helped over the phone was really nice. For the price I paid for this arrangement and with delivery, I’ve never been more disappointed with ordering flowers. I asked for a beautiful white bow but the bow was absolutely hideous. I feel like I could have bought my own greenery and picked the flowers from my own yard and would have had a better arrangement.

Delivery Details & Tips

Every gift ordered through BloomNation is personally hand-delivered by the local florist. Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.

Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received cut-off times for same-day delivery that are based off of the recipient’s time zone. Florists that offer same-day delivery display their same-day delivery cut-off time in their store detail section. Orders received after that time may be delivered the following day. Please note some florists may not make deliveries on Sunday.

To request a specific delivery time, please type it into the Special Instructions field during checkout. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences.

Before major holidays, we recommend that you place your orders at least five days in advance.
