Substitution Policy
In some instances, the florists’ photo may represent an overall theme or look and include a one-of-a-kind vase which cannot be exactly replicated. Although the actual bouquet may not precisely match the photo, its temperament will. Occasionally, substitutions of flowers or containers happen due to weather, seasonality and market conditions which may affect availability. If this is the case with the gift you've selected, the local florist will ensure that the style, theme and color scheme of your arrangement is preserved and will only substitute items of equal or higher value.
Delivery Policy
Every gift ordered through BloomNation is personally hand-delivered by the local florist. Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.
Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received cut-off times for same-day delivery that are based off of the recipient’s time zone. Florists that offer same day delivery display their same-day delivery cut-off time in their store detail section. Orders received after that time may be delivered the following day. Please note some florists may not make deliveries on Sunday.
To request a specific delivery time, please type it into the Special Instructions field during checkout. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences. Before major holidays, we recommend that you place your orders at least five days in advance.

I live in California and recently sent sympathy flowers to a friend in Reno after his father passed. I ordered the "Hilda" arrangement online. They were made and delivered the next day as requested, although not with the same "simple silver vase" as described in the store photo. My friend sent me a pic of the arrangement on Monday afternoon. However, by Friday morning, the pic shows the flowers were already wilting. Although my friend did say they were still fragrant. Disappointed the flowers didn't last longer, but overall satisfied with the order and customer service received by phone. Would recommend and use again.
