I didn't get to see the flowers because I live in Florida and the funeral was in New York. I had my daughter take a picture of the flowers and the arrangement looked almost like the picture. The picture on the site shows more lilies, than what was delivered. Regardless, my daughter told me the bereaved family said the flowers were just beautiful. Thank you Funky Flowers (Rick) for doing what I asked, by using a less expensive vase and putting the money towards more flowers.
Wish I could have seen those lovely pink roses & lilies close up, but know it honored my Mom. Richie sent me a photo and also checked the grave's area condition, which was most reassuring!
The flowers were beautiful and came on time.
The arrangements were beautiful. The only thing I would do is, if you could make both baskets look more symmetrical. Otherwise, the congregation loved them and so did I. It's a pleasure doing business with you.

I included a special note with my order and both my daughter and I were so taken by the fact that the note was handwritten by the shop. It's the little things that make such a big difference!
What was delivered to my recipient was nothing close to what was pictured on the website. I was so upset and terribly disappointed.
In the past the Funky Flower Shop has been great, but all great things must come to an end. The flowers never were delivered, but they still charged me $120! The phone # just goes to voice mail so I can't get an explanation on the order. But, I got an email to leave a review, for an order that was never delivered!!!!!

My order was set to arrive the Friday before Mother’s Day. It did not. Saturday came and went too with no delivery. I left a voice message which was not returned. I finally sent an email telling them if you cannot delivery on Mother’s Day then please refund my money. No response. At 6:30pm when we were out at dinner, someone dropped off a half beaten up version of what I ordered. It looked like it was thrown together from scraps! No apology, no communication. I’m extremely disappointed as I love to support local florists. Just not this one anymore.
I called later in the day with my order and was so glad it was able to get to my daughter. Especially being delivered at a venue where things could have went very wrong! Absolutely amazing service!

I just want to give a big fabulous shout out to the funky flower shop! I called at 3:30 in the afternoon on February 13 to ask for a delivery to Huntington Hospital for my new granddaughter that was born.! At such short notice they Were able to take my order and send the beautiful arrangement up to my daughter’s room! The owner was so sweet on the phone to me, and I placed my order online as he suggested, and they delivered that afternoon! I really really appreciate how they Me on such a special day! Will definitely be using them again! Thank you again!

I will say, and happy to share the photo, the qty of roses and the visual is half/not nearly as dense as what is shown in the photo in this review and on the webaite at the time of order. And, for a dozen roses, plus delivery, the flowers were a fortune.

The flowers were not delivered on the day that was asked of the shop. When I called the shop I was told that I needed to include that they were being delivered to a school in the order. When I reviewed the order it clearly read Huntington HS main office in the delivery instructions. Disappointed as these were being sent to celebrate a persons news of their cancer being in remission.

The flowers that were delivered, did not look like the flowers shown in the online photos. They added other tacky flowers in, and different palm greens. It looked nothing like the online photos. If they were planning on altering the order, they shld have called me before adding other flowers m, which ruined the simple and elegant design I had chosen from their photos. It looked messy, cheap, and unsophisticated. It was an embarrassment and looked like they just threw the flowers in a vase and put ugly fillers in. Not ok

The delivery wasn’t until after 9pm. I understand that it was Valentine’s Day and no doubt there were many deliveries to be made, but I would have appreciated a heads up that the delivery was going to be late. Instead, the driver called at 9pm to see if I still wanted the flowers that day.
On my email receipt, the driver stated the flowers were delivered at 4pm, which was not true.

I ordered a birthday bouquet for my mother using the 'designer's choice' option requesting seasonally fresh flowers. Funky Flower executed the order and delivered a bouquet on time, but the flower selection was very disappointing. Instead of a $50 bouquet, I believe they gave her a $20 flower selection based on my observation of grocery store bouquet options.
I was disappointed. I was supposed to get orchids and found out when I was picking it up that orchids were not available and had to accept a substitute. They could have called me before I went in to pick it up. Also, when I chose the arrangement the price was supposed to be 74.95 for the Deluxe, when I proceeded to payment it went up to 90.00. Maybe that was supposed to be for delivery, but I picked it up. Anyway, too much money for what I chose.

Placed the order to be delivered on Friday the 19th. Received a confirmation email stating your order has been delivered , on the 18th in the evening. Being concerned, I called the florist in town who houses this order and he said it would be delivered on Friday and it was a third party automated thing...so not to worry. Now on Friday at 4Pm, no sign of delivery. Called florist again. He said had no info on the order. I said I need it delivered or refund. He delivered while I was out. It was placed clumsily on the steps and knocked itself over apparently (description of item: tall glass vase w water and top heavy w floral arrangement). This is not a quality delivery and situation. I requested refunding me. The florist was not as knowledgeable as I would have imagined in delivery protocols for flowers in glass vases.Or did not care.Or farmed this delivery out to a local hobo or street person to deliver. This was an anniversary gift to my wife. It was more than sad.. I wish I could share the actual photo of what we came home to shortly after it was delivered. Tragedy and amateurish.. According to this florist, this stuff happens. What? Lack of access to databases? No proper records or follow up? Quality and care of proper placement of flower arrangement as delivered? Sad experience..I would not use them again..

I always get my wife flowers for Valentine's Day, usually from one of the "discount" mail order florists. I eventually got tired of giving her roses that were not even open (and often never did open fully), so I tried the Funky Flower Shop this year.
I ordered a dozen long stemmed roses with Baby's Breath, and was able to do so very easily on line, at an excellent price. I could choose from a wide variety of options, and pick the delivery date I wanted. I opted to pick them up myself, since I live just a few blocks from the store - although they seemed quite well set up for efficient delivery.
What I got was actually even nicer looking than the website photo. All blooms were open just enough to look gorgeous, the arrangement was professionally done (my wife didn't have to cut the stems and arrange them herself as in the past), and they were in an attractive and very sturdy vase. It's only been a bit over a day since I got them, but they show no signs of withering or losing petals, as the discount flowers often do.
I won't hesitate to go back to Funky Flowers for the next occasion!

Ordered for a Christmas Eve delivery for my mom, and received an email confirmation saying the delivery had been received - however when I spoke to my mom she said she hadn’t received anything - turns out they send a confirmation even if the flowers aren’t received, which ruins the surprise. Really disappointing system - not recommended!

My friend appreciated the flowers but the bouquet was not as sophisticated as the picture presented in the website. The “Lovely Orchids” shows mainly white orchids with a hint of magenta and some smaller purple/white flowers. My friend received a pretty bouquet but the flowers had many different colors and it seemed too busy. I would’ve liked a call if they didn’t have similar flowers for the arrangement bc I would’ve picked something else but they did not call!
Flowers Were Funky ... Flowers died after only 2 days, left instructions where to leave them but they put them at the wrong door. Tried a local shop rather than the big online retailer, expected more. Ordered the exact same flowers recently from a shop in Queens for someone else and they lasted 2 weeks. First time I used this shop and the last time.

The flowers I thought I was purchasing were not the same that were delivered. I upgraded to deluxe so before tax and delivery were still $65.00 . They looked like $10.99 shop rite flowers and I probably would have done better at shop rite. By tuesday morning the flowers I got for my mom were completely falling apart. I will honestly NEVER use this company again. I really thought it was a nice gesture since I was unable to see my mom this year due to the corona virus but I looked cheap and was embarrassed by something that all together spent $100 on. Sorry but very unsatisfied customer!

The pictures my mom sent look nothing like the "upgrade" I paid extra for.. Maybe only 4 roses when there are about 10 in the picture. Also, I got an email notification saying that they were "hand delivered" to the recipient and implied that they were signed off on, but when I checked with her, she said she wasn't even home. I called to check and the guy on the phone was very impatient and gruff and said they were probably just left at the door. This is super misleading. If the flowers were at least like the picture, maybe it would have been worth it. Won't be ordering again.
The red base and flowers were beautiful
The flowers are fresh fresh fresh and the arrangement looks pretty much like the picture. Only the calla Lillies didn't drape as such in the actual arrangement. Pearls were attached in the middle of the calla Lillie stem, and the middle of the stems hung at a 45% angle. Flowers also delivered pretty late, after 8pm. But honestly, the most important thing is that the arrangement is beautiful. Thank you!

Funky Florist did not deliver the flowers shown on the website. I ordered an upgrade and got a downgrade! No lilies, as few roses as they could get away with. I was embarrassed when I saw it in the funeral home

The arrangement was very pretty. However, in the picture, it seems that the base is green ceramic. The piece arrived in black plastic. Very cheap-looking.

Though it was over all a pretty piece, It did not look as full w/flowers as in picture & even though the pic is a standard & I ordered deluxe it was not fuller but less full than even the standard.
The Green leaves on background over powered the piece & green background was MUCH larger than picture.

In this case I saw it at the wake, but in other cases, I haven't.

I did not see the finished product but those who received them loved them and thought they were beautiful. I loved that the florist called me when the container they were supposed to use was not available to check in with me an make sure they could use an alternate... True integrity!!!!
Ordered this specific arrangement was somewhat disappointed because it appears no lavender was in the arrangement. Pink flowers were instead substituted and we requested an upgrade at it did not appear evident. On a positive note our daughter was thrilled so that is all that was important.

Love this shop. The arrangement was pretty much like the picture. Their flower arrangements are always beautiful.
Flowers ordered for a colleague's mom's wake/funeral. Many people contributed, but we definitely did not get the proper bouquet for the amount of money paid--$125 for the "premium" was anything but, and add to this tax/delivery. In a couple of follow-up phone calls one proprietor said that what was pictured on the web was their "standard" and the other said it was their "premium." These two could not get their stories straight. More than that, at first they were apologetic and said that would send something to the family's home; with that assurance, I gave them a good review, but alas they never made good on their promise. Therefore I am retracting my good review and my advice to anyone considering using this shop is don't use them; they have no business ethics.

The flowers were so beautiful, exactly how they were picture online. I had ordered them around 8am and Funky Flower Shop did an exceptional job getting the arrangement together and delivered prior to the 2pm service. Would absolutely do business with Funky Flower Shop again!
She said they were beautiful. But they delivered the flowers at 6 pm and no one was home and it was 20 degrees outside. Idk y they were delivered so late they were on truck at 3 pm and she lives in same town.

Flower arrangement was beautiful but I had asked for a AUNT Ribbon be attached and it was not also asked for the flowers to be delivered by 12:00 PM and they were not delivered until after 2:00 PM
planter was larger than I expected and beautiful...but, where was the bowl? it was in a basket which I guess makes it easier for the family to carry...very pleased and thank you again
It was my first experience with this florist. Flowers were beautiful as pictured ( I selected premium) and the price was competitive. These were the only flowers I felt comfortable selecting. I will not hesitate to order from them again!
