Your Florist company did an Outstanding job. My Mother loves the flowers, colors, and arrangements for her Mother's Day gift. Ever since the delivery, she has been texting us pictures of her flowers. On the morning of my aunt’s service, I was feeling quite overwhelmed with everything happening and realized I needed flowers in a hurry. 1/16/2025: This is my second time using Flowers by Manny. I live in the Dutchess county area and needed to find a florist who would deliver in the Long Island area. Their website was easy to use and had a lot of designs.
There customer service is great: super easy to place an order; they’re efficient on the phone; send a confirmation email with all the details which were really accurate.
Most importantly the flower design and orders arrived just like the pictures.

I wanted a local florist to deliver flowers to my son and daughter-in-law in West Hempstead before we visited. I had found Manny's for a previous delivery and I was impressed with the floral arrangement I ordered. This arrangement was spectacular. The floral arrangement was absolutely beautiful! The colors used in the corsage matched the golden anniversary celebration perfectly! However, the wrist band that was used for the corsage was too loose and not thick/strong enough to support the weight of the roses. As a result, it was cumbersome for my mother to wear. We frequently had to readjust and attempt to tighten it, until ultimately, my mother had to take the corsage off all together, which was disappointing.

Flowers by Manny did an excellent job in filling my need… the original florist accepted my floral grave covering and then at the last minute cancelled the order based upon their inability to fulfill my…it was eight PM Saturday evening and the funeral was Monday…. I called Flowers by Manny and they accepted my order and produced an excellent floral arrangement and delivered on time… thank you Flowers by Manny..

Worst Florist I’ve EVER dealt with !!! Totally incompetent RUDE arrogant and CLUELESS as to what a florist delivery is.
They alerted the recipient, ( there goes the surprise element of a surprise delivery) told the recipient RUDELY that they HAD TO leave their desk at work, telling first the LIE that there was No access To a commercial business building with open doors during normal business hours ( well within those hours ) there is also a security guard on duty to help them through the door if they had a disability or other problems. The delivery person, then told another LIE that there were police just outside the door telling her to move on.., the recipient looked out the window next to them and saw the entire street. No police present. The delivery person then proceeded to the suite. Knocked on the door ( which is also unlocked ) left the flowers in the common hallway. !! I called to alert the florist that their delivery person was terrible, but they repeated each lie, and said leaving the flowers I paid for in a common hallway was standard !! ( most of the ladies in the office also got flowers, that day but TO THEIR DESK no prior alert a total surprise as most flower deliveries are. Never will I deal with this unprofessional florist again.

Let us begin with their was a miscommunication between the driver and the recipient receiving the flowers. Our delivery driver who is a female first double parked the car to see if she could deliver the flowers quickly on Fulton Street which is a one lane going East and West only. The police happened to have caught her double parked and asked her to move her car immediately. Our driver moved her car asap into the next door parking lot. Our driver’s are all taught to call the recipient to let them know there is a delivery for them and confirm the address and suite location in any building. They then are to take a picture of the flowers being delivered and obtain a signature from the recipient. This is literally standard for ALL Flowers Shops and not just our shop. Our driver asked the recipient to meet her in the hallway if possible. Unfortunately, the recipient was arrogant and nasty to our driver and told her she is paid to do a proper job service and that she was incompetent in her native language of Spanish along with verbal abuse. Considering that the recipient works for a Law Firm that does immigration services her verbal conduct was extremely unprofessional and uncalled for to say the least. When our driver reached the Suite#200 in the hallway outside of the elevators it was locked. So, the driver knocked and knocked with no answer. The driver was forced to leave the flowers outside of the business establishment and took a picture of the arrangement which was delivered at exactly 2pm in the afternoon which is within the business hours of the law firm of 9am to 5pm Monday thru Friday.
You then sir proceeded to call our flower shop and in a very loud, nasty and arrogant demeanor began to curse out one of our employees. You literally told our employee that she was stupid and what kind of service does our flower shop have over all. You then stated why would your driver leave the flowers in the hallway of the building by the door were someone could have pissed on them! You were on a recorded line were everything is saved to an integrated system. You continued to scream at her and tell her she was stupid!!

It was Valentine’s Day and it is a holiday during the year were all of the Flower Shops try to do the best to make everyone happy. The young lady at our shop was trying to explain herself of what she was told took place. There was truly no reason for you to yell, curse and be nasty to an employee who was trying to explain herself to you. We could have simply even given you a credit for flowers at our shop for a later date or even send a courtesy floral arrangement for any misunderstanding. But, you chose to be angry and nasty.

I can't imagine my review will be much different from other reviews for Flowers by Manny because excellence is simply who they are and what they do. Our family experienced the sudden passing of one of our beloved matriarchs. We had one week to plan the funeral service. And though I live out of state, I was able to find Flowers by Manny and they helped me select the right style for a casket spray my father wanted to send to honor his beloved sister. They also helped me customize it with the colors and flowers that were the favorite of our loved one. Each call with them was filled with support, understanding and encouragement that they would do their best to provide an arrangement according to our specifications and that would duly honor our loved one. Manny's flower shop delivered my flowers to the wrong house. I called at 10:30am to get an estimate of time of delivery. The girl told me that she couldn't give me a time but all flowers went out. I then called at 1:00pm telling them that the flowers weren't delivered to call the driver. They called the driver and he said he delivered them at 11am. My flowers were given to a neighbor who held on to them for 3 hours. The person I sent the flowers to was home the entire time. I had to demand that they go get the flowers and deliver them to the correct house. Will never use them again.

The only improvement we could suggest is that we asked for them to be left at the SIDE door off the driveway if she wasn’t home. But they were left right on the FRONT steps visible to the street. The Disigner Choise was terrible decision, out the three price options I choose the most expensive one thinking that I was going to amaze by the Disigner Choise but it was very disappointing when I saw it. I have a complaint about the arrangement my mother received. The flower arrangement was delivered late at night, presumably at 8:35 pm when I received this email. I believe that if you are going to make deliveries that late, you need to notate that on the ordering screen. Also, my mothers phone number was provided as well as my phone number. Again, if deliveries are made that late you need to call the recipient so that the flowers don’t sit on their front steps overnight, which is exactly what happened in this case.
