Ivy brings fifteen years of creativity and experience to Flowers by Ivy. Although initially launched as a kitchen-florist operation, in 2006 Ivy’s passion for flowers was fully realized with the opening of her very own flower boutique in Downtown San Jose. From a simple bouquet for a friend’s birthday to a vast array of wedding arrangements, Flowers by Ivy can provide unique floral arrangements for all occasions. Wonderful customer service! And beautiful arrangement. I noted that I wanted the flowers delivered before a certain time & Flowers by Ivy was happy to accommodate. The flowers turned out beautifully and my friend was so happy she sent me a picture of herself with the bouquet. My only suggestion is that Flowers by Ivy send a picture of the exact bouquet that was sent instead of the stock picture in the delivery confirmation, because when I went to my friends’ house, the bouquet was even nicer than the picture and they had in fact accommodated a request I’d made that wasn’t reflected in the stock photo. Very happy with this florist. I’m a first time customer and will definitely be a return customer!

The orchid arrangement I ordered was true to its picture and loved by my family. Besides beautiful flowers, the customer service was superb. I got an email stating that the address I gave was the same in the court as it was in the avenue. I searched for peonies on the website menu and "Sweet Loves" showed up. Picture looks like it has peonies in them. I ordered but the flowers came with no peonies in it. Feel very ripped off.

We called and asked that this be delivered by 3:00 which they said they would do their best. However it did not arrive until after and my husband left his office and the flowers have been there an entire week since he has not returned to his office to collect them, which was why i asked they be delivered by 3:00 and i placed the order early. I chose this arrangement (AND paid the extra to make it a deluxe) for my sister's birthday because I loved the shape of it-- seen in the given picture. However, when received, it was basically a ball of flowers. Similar flowers, but definitely not what I was hoping for. I was hoping for the greens/leaves to come out to form more of a wispy look that's popular nowadays (that's why i chose this one). It did not have it at all.

The service was excellent and the flowers were very beautiful. My wife was ecstatic. However, about a third of the bouquet was bundled and the stems were laid straight across, not in the water. So that whole portion of the bouquet is wilted, which is pretty disappointing that we were only able to enjoy them for less than a day.

My sister is visiting San Jose from the east coast and was going to be away for her birthday. I decided to go on line and try to send her flowers. Loved that there was same delivery! Ordered in the morning and was sent over by noon. Flowers were beautiful (upgraded to deluxe)! Had a little trouble trying to find out if it was delivered but great customer service- very prompt and even offered to bring another arrangement if we couldn't locate it. Lastly, vase is unreal- so beautiful!

I have been a satisfied regular customer of Flowers By Ivy for a couple of years after being a serial shopper of florists in this area for over a decade. Great flowers in near perfect arrangements delivered reliably on time with friendly customized service. And their value is quite good compared to other relatively overpriced gougers. Ivy's value comes second only to one in Sausalito but she is queen in the South Bay. My rating is actually 4.5 stars as the arrangements cost a pretty penny, but as a wise man once said "price is what you pay but value is what you get". And with Ivy I will gladly pay for value!!! This is the 4th or 5th time I’ve had flowers delivered for a special occasion, and every time the arrangements have been gorgeous, the notes beautifully written, the delivery prompt (so far, always before noon), and the prices very reasonable. While occasional substitutions are understandable, the photo of this arrangement is completely misleading and inaccurate. There were no peonies, minimal tulips, and instead ranunculus, and filler flowers. The temperament is completely different and the price cannot be justified for this.
Suffice to say, the final product was disappointing and clearly not as advertised. The florist needs to better manage quality control and update the photo/description as soon as possible.

My aunt sent me a picture of the arrangement she received and it looked very little like the arrangement I chose from the pictures on Bloomnation. There was no hydrangea in the arrangement as far as I could see, the colors were different, and the greens were very average, unlike the ones show in the picture. It was basically a mix of random roses (red, white, pink, and yellow) and greens thrown together with a few ranunculus. I could have done a better job myself. This is a real shame because I've received flowers from other florists on Bloomnation and they were gorgeous. I will not order from Flowers By Ivy again.

I wanted a special birthday bouquet for our daughter's 21st birthday. I read through YELP reviews and decided to go with Flowers by Ivy. I was not able to order the bouquet until mid-afternoon, but hoped it could still be delivered that same day. I was not disappointed. Not only did they do a same day delivery when I chose online, but they told me when it was sent and what the flowers looked like!
