The flowers are gorgeous! Our only gripe is that the delivery was requested for after 4 pm, but came too early, when no one was home that day, and was left at the neighbor's house, which is awkward. We're lucky that the neighbor's nice. Either way, the flowers are absolutely beautiful and giving less than 5 stars would be ridiculous and unfair. Thank you, Flowers By Bernard, for one of the most beautiful bouquets we've ever seen!

Delivery was reasonably on time and most of the flowers were fresh. Upon delivery, I was surprised that there was no box or carrier for the square vase and the glass was wet. Additionally, several of the flowers were old, wilted and had brown discoloration on their edges. Lastly, the typing on the card started off ineligible because it ran across the logo. This should have been checked and reprinted properly before it left the store. All of this was disheartening because it was for a 60th birthday and over $100 with the tax.

The flowers were very different and beautiful. I spoke with one of your employees after I ordered them on line and I was told that they would arrive on Sunday at 12 at Hanley's. They did not arrive before or after 12 they arrived somewhere in between the viewing of 12-3 and 5-7. Sunday was the only day at Hanley's.

We always use Flowers By Bernard, and will continue to do so, but I wasn’t very happy with my order. The flowers didn’t really look at all like the arrangement I ordered online. That was ok but I was surprised to see that the flowers seemed to not be very fresh. I didn’t want to complain at the time as it was Mother’s Day and they were so busy. My Mother-in-law loved them and that is what counts. I can say that they didn’t last long. That was disappointing. I hate to leave this review. I have always given high praises and will always recommend them. Their flowers are usually perfectly arranged, fresh and last for a while.

Part of why I bought with you guys was from experience and the closeness to my sister in SI.
I bought the premium version of these flowers but part of the premium look and feel was the glass bowl. My sisters were delivered in a white ceramic container and the flowers were browned on the edges….it wasn’t the “magic moment” I was looking for.
I work in advertising in NYC and I know how important it is to deliver a product as expected otherwise, customer loyalty falls off.

Wagner College has been a long-time customer of Bernards. Then, we took a break and started using again. March 1, we ordered flowers to be delivered between 3 pm - 5 pm on March 2 at the Provost's home for a trustee dinner. When she got home before 3 pm, the flowers were already sitting on the front steps. Wilted and dry. (I will send a picture) and they do not look like the picture on the website.
I called Irving, who told me that I was calling the wrong Bernards as soon as he heard Wagner College. I hung up called the other Bernards, told them the receipt said "Iriving" and had to make my third phone call back to Iriving to touch base about the flowers.
Irving strongly disagreed with me when I said we were charged $90 for the flowers. He noted they were $75 but had other fees. I kindly reminded Irving that we were charged $90 not $75, so that is the price of the flowers (who argues with a customer over such things).
I informed Irving we specifically chose this arrangement because of the purple but what we were given had a lot of pink. He said they were low on purple, although this wasn't on the webpage or told to us when we called about the specific delivery time.
The arrangement also had a ribbon with a heart on it, which I'm guessing is a left-over from Valentine's Day. The picture on the webpage does not show this and it is inappropriate for a business dinner.
I asked Irving to resend a new arrangement but he said they were low on purple flowers and he clearly wasn't happy.
I then spoke again to my supervisor and she said she would make due with what was sent since she had guests that would be arriving.
When I called Irving back, he said he would still send the arrangement, I declined and he hung up on me without saying goodbye.
This is not the customer service we have had in the past, which is unfortunate since we will try another florist for our next event.

These roses were sent to a friend recovering from surgery. She told me they were gorgeous. I live by two other florist shops in which I used in the past. Paid for the premium for the extra flowers and when I got to the funeral parlor the flowers were half wilted, looks nothing like the picture of the stand. A blind person could've made a better looking arrangement. The message card was typed on the preprinted part of the card so the message can't even be seen. Total waste of money and quite embarrassing.

I have made at least 6 purchases from this florist prior to this one without issue.
When the arrangement arrived it was not what I had ordered. It was beautiful with premium flowers picked for it, but it didn't come close to being what was pictured online. I spoke with the owner, and he relayed that he did not have the flowers to make the arrangement ordered, or the basket. He mentioned that it was policy to make the arrangements as close as possible, and make the delivery. Before you place your order online, call the florist directly and confirm availability on the arrangement you pick.
Overall, I am satisfied with the purchase, and the customer service.

Flowers were gorgeous! Only one problem… I wrote out the car saying “may she Rest In Peace ❤️“ and when I previewed how the card would look it said just that with the red heart. When I saw the arrangement at the wake it read “ may she Rest In Peace??” Lol it caused a bit of a laugh which helped to lighten the mood for a minute. Would definitely order again since roses were beautiful.

I ordered the Premium for it was for a special Birthday, and it came to 150 which is expensive, but received a premium, fresh, beautiful, impressive result. The only recommendation would be to add a balloon to this design for it is a birthday display, and it would add a bit more kick to this item listed online for birthdays.

We told the customer that the store closed for Labor Day and the Jewish holiday and our computer errored by accepting the order via internet. Color palette was similar to the picture, but I chose this item for the color AND assortment of blooms. Even though roses are in the sample basket (and I already assumed the shop might not have all the flowers in the sample), if I knew I’d be ordering a basket of (only) roses I would have selected something else or just called so I’d know what I was getting at my price point. Delivery was untimely (mid afternoon when no one was home instead of first thing in the morning, as I requested) and the flowers were wilted by the time I got home. You should inform customers on your website that online order deliveries are handled from your Amboy Road location. Had I known that before I placed the order, I would have called Hylan Boulevard, which is much closer to my home. I have the impression that your company doesn’t care what time deliveries are made, as long as they are made, which is not the best stance in terms of customer satisfaction. Often, as in this case, the timing of deliveries is crucial.

Did not look like what you show in the pic. I specifically asked to please add a beloved cousin to the spray and you did not. It took us a while to find our flowers bc the ribbon wasn’t on it. This upset me the most, it was the one thing I specifically asked for. I prefer to get what I ask for. I used this florist bc it was close to the funeral home, but never again. The card wasn’t even signed correctly, no spacing between names. This is an honest review. Sorry, not impressed and quite annoyed.

Yesterday morning I ordered a Zen Artistry arrangement to be delivered to my Mother-in-Law for same day delivery as an early Mother's Day gift. My husband and I were taken completely by surprise when less than two hours later my Mother-in-Law called to thank us for the absolute beautiful arrangement. The recipient of my order did not receive what I ordered. The order was placed simply elegant Spathiphyllum-premium (largest of the 3 choices). What was delivered was what looks like the medium dish garden(smallest). While I understand there sometimes need to be substitutions, I would think the value of what was delivered would be comparable. I would have never known the wrong item was delivered had the recipient not shared a picture of what was she received. My office has recently ordered and sent 2 additional Spathiphyllums and we only hope what was ordered was actually what was delivered.

I purchased flowers to be delivered and when the person received them the flowers were damaged so when i find out the flowers were damaged i called up Bernard flowers to let them know of the situation the person i spoke to said they werent and i told him i had pictures of the damaged flowers and that i will show him but hes insisted they were not damaged so then i lay into him because hes lying and wouldn't give me a refund at that moment so l call up the person up that gave the flowers and told her about the situation and then she called them up and told that infact the flowers are damaged and that i should be refunded my money back and the person told her that the driver said that she liked the flowers and she told them that he was lying and they said they will refund me my money back immediately and they dont want are buisness anymore and thats fine however i havent recieved the refund back yet so i recommend never to buy flowers from this establishment because they are liars and crooks

I was very disappointed when I saw the thank you picture that my sister sent me. The flowers were fresh, the vase was nice, but it has nothing to do with "beautiful in blue". Spray was absolutely the most beautiful among all the flowers and large. The variety of flowers gave the spray a wonderful sense of a field of flowers - one flower more beautiful then the other. We were so glad to find a florist that was reliable, dependable and delivered fresh & beautiful floral arrangements/bouquets every order.
This time the flowers were beautiful as always but delivery was much later than anticipated......if fact I actually called the store to make sure my order would be delivered that day.
They assured me my flowers were on the way and they did arrive just much later in the day than I requested. Even though it was the Friday before Mother's Day the extra heavy volume of orders was probably at fault in this case..!!

I only ordered this arrangement because of the color theme of black and red and the decor. What I received was a heavy, white wooden box that looked rustic with baby breath flowers instead of the red feathers featured. Completely different arrangement and absolutely no explanation, apology, or compensation! I feel like this was a false advertisement and I was conned out of $100.

Delivered flowers to my sister. Perhaps they were left with a neighbor because when she opened her front door the following morning she was to receive them, they were in front of door on the ground. Balloon was completed deflated, though my sister did say flowers were beautiful. My only issue is, if she was home & they were left with a neighbor, a note could have been left on her door so she knew she had a delivery. So, she didn't get them on her birthday, she got them the next morning. When I receive flowers, my partner uses Bernard's always.......The flowers are beautiful and they last a long time. In the future, if a customer isn't home, they should call or leave a note letting the recipient know a delivery was made.

The arrangement that was delivered looked nothing like this image, not any of the flowers or basket. It just has white mixed flowers in white bowl.
The arrangement was for a new baby girl. I understand some flower arrangements get improvised based on availability at the time, but a common sense would dictate to at least keep anything pink for a brand new baby girl arrangement.
Very disappointing and a waste of money, especially for a premium version.
