Cindy Carlberg
Cindy Carlberg, Owner/Head Designer Award winning designer, business owner, mother Cindy started her career in 1977 in her in-law's flower shop in a small southern town in Oklahoma. She came from an artistic family, and received her basic design training while studying commercial and graphic design with the hopes to go into advertising. Working in several flowers shops both in Oklahoma and California, she went on to win Oklahoma Designer of the Year in 1996, Oklahoma Master Designer in 1998 and 2001 and other regional awards throughout the years. She is Oklahoma board-certified by the Oklahoma Florist Association certification program and is passionate about the floral industry. Practicing a unique blend of contemporary European yet over grown garden style, she enjoys designing in multi mediums including fresh flowers, silk/dried botanicals, wood, fabric, paper, as well as other forms of textiles. Cindy is also enthusiastic about the use of recycled mediums for different projects. Her designs are inspired from a love of nature and a peaceful coexistence with every living thing on plant Earth. FlowerGirls opened its doors as a full service flower shop in July 1999 at 71 and Yale in Tulsa, and has taken several avenues before landing at the north end of London Square in January 2013. This is where you find FlowerGirls today, thriving and celebrating more than 35 years experience in floristry, specializing in weddings and events.

This was our first visit to FlowerGirls and it was exceptional. I ordered the flowers online but the option for pickup defaulted to the following. When I called the florist to inquire, she advised me to go ahead and purchase and she would look for the order and have ready for our same day pickup. Everything went just as she stated, the flowers were beautiful and received many compliments. We let people know where they came from and they said FlowerGirls will be there new florist. In fact, someone has a wedding coming up and she's hoping to use FlowerGirls for the wedding. Thank you for great service, welcoming atmosphere and the most beautiful flowers.

The flowers are always lovely. My only complaint and it's happened twice now is they don't deliver on the day you request when ordering. They delivered two days early last time and one day early this time. I would suggest ordering the day you want it delivered but you do run the risk of them not having the flowers you want.

Hi, just wanted to touch base with you. I ordered flowers on Monday to pickup Friday at 9. I walked in to a floor covered in flowers debris. No real display whatsoever. Maybe it’s not a store front. Almost got ran over by a man flying around the corner with boxes. Nobody said a word for a few minutes. I finally spoke to a woman asking if I could pickup my flowers. She started the conversation with are you a door dasher?! I told her that I had ordered for pickup. Another woman looked in the fridge area and couldn’t find my order. I then brought up the email receipt. She then spotted the order in a pile of orders. I got home and the plastic wrap was completely loose from the vase, so I had to rewrap myself. Anyway, first time customer and was extremely disappointed. I really don’t want to leave you a bad review publicly. But, if you're the owner. This was really unsettling customer service. I understand it’s Mother’s Day weekend and most orders are delivered. But, if there’s actually a customer in store I would kinda expect better treatment.

They were beautiful when they got here but sadly compared to my daughters Roses from Walmart mine are already wilting it is 2/20 and I know how to take care of them. So not sure why that is.

I was a little shocked when my significant other brought it home. The tulips had about two days left and many were already opening. Plus, the vase was thin plastic. Not what I expected given the cost. But it arrived on time.

Tulips are one of the most perishable flowers, just like any garden. As soon as a tulip hits the warm. Like in someone's house, they completely open and are usually pedals, falling within twenty four hours.
I did send out replacements.I hope they lasted at least a day or two.
If a long-lasting flower is something that you're looking for you might try a rose.
Or another longer lasting flower, anything in the spring bulb like tulips, iris daffodils, all are very short-lived flowers. They seem to like it cold, which they last A. While in a refrigerator like florists have, but as soon as they're warmed up...
Hopefully the replacements helped.

I thought I would give this place another chance since they screwed up the order last year on Valentine’s Day, but they made good on it. So I ordered flowers and the balloon and yet again this flower shop has an issue with delivering flowers and a balloon at the same time. It seems they cannot do this. Apparently, it’s Beyond their capability to do this. I put my order in a week in advance, so they clearly knew plus on the order it shows flowers and balloon, so there’s really no excuse for the screw up. It just shows the shop is very poorly managed and not thorough at all. I called about the balloon missing, and I was promised it would be delivered the next day. The flowers did show up a day early but that’s beside the point. the balloon should been delivered on the 15th The next day. But that did not happen. I will be calling the store to get a refund since the balloon was not delivered. And doing research to find another flower shop to do business with.

The arrangement looked similar to the photo. Our sister was very happy with it. We had ordered a mylar balloon to be attached and floating but they used small ones that went inside the arrangement. I probably would have omitted the balloon if I knew that because it made it look a little junky but overall the arrangement was nice.

Ribbon was a ugly yellow mesh not the rustic rope in the picture, looks like it had a cupcake wrapper spread out and glued to a clothes pin holding the card. I guess the right flowers were in there though

I would highly recommend someone else!
Trying calling twice, voicemail is full so I would say this a common thing for them.

The confirmation email after delivery said "hand delivered to Samantha". The flowers were just left on the front counter of the business they were delivered to. The guy at the front counter took little interest in completing the delivery. Samantha did not receive her flowers. Maybe the delivery will be completed Monday. The delivery practices should be updated to achieve better customer service.

I am apologize that the delivery didn't go as planned, in most business we aren't allowed past (many company policies) the front desk same as for the hospitals we dont deliver to patient rooms again we apologize this happened to you. I have spoken with our driver and she informed me that when she spoke with the man at the reception desk he assured our driver that he would be paging her to let her know that the delivery was there. I'm unsure why the review though as we did fulfill our commitment of the delivery process I would think the review would have been for the company that failed to do their part.

I placed an order online last on 12/20/2023 and had it delivered to the hotel the next morning. The arrangement of flowers I ordered were nothing like I received. The website stated the flower arrangement will be delivered approximately as pictured.. it most certainly did not. The vase is completely different as well as it didn't have a Santa in it.I ask to have this made right please be a I do not want to dispute the charges.
Update. Doesn't want to communicate, Cindy got mad and raised her voice. She hung up on me once and I called back. She then gave me the excuse that she was juggling phones. I tried to then talk to her and see what they would offer to make it right. She continued to be argumentative and then hung up on me again. Very disappointed and I can not believe the lack of care.

i would have gladly replaced the arrangement if to had called how ever it would have been put in the same red vase as the one you received as that was the only red vase we had at the time.

BEWARE OF THIS BUSINESS!!!!
Ordered online an arrangement that was shown as having a dozen or more roses plus greenery. Picked a local business to the delivery address for better service - HUGE MISTAKE! Recipient sent me a photo of what was delivered. Arrangement had a half dozen roses (or less) and little greenery. Stay away if you actually want what you select to be delivered.

Yesterday we spoke with you and you sent us the picture of the floral arrangement that was delivered, the arrangement didn't look anything like the one that was delivered (it looked small and like the roses had been pulled out and or were missing) so we proceeded to make a new one for delivery so that we could make sure that she would be more then happy with the birthday arrangement that she had received. I called just before noon to politely ask what the expected delivery time for my order would be. The woman on the phone was rude and very short with me, but ensured me it would be "with-in normal business hours". The flowers arrived arrived after 4pm when my girlfriend had already left. The flowers were as described.

While the product was beautiful, I ordered it for same-day hospital delivery on 9/14. It was not delivered until 9/18 - the person had already been discharged from the hospital, so it had to be delivered to her home. The reason I chose FlowerGirls in the first place was because according to the website ordering system, I had 6 hours left to place an order to be delivered the same day. Very disappointing.

I’ve used FlowerGirls exclusively for the past 5 years. They always got it right except this last time for our anniversary. I chose this arrangement because of the sunflowers. The arrangement arrived without sunflowers and I was surprised that the focal flower had been substituted. I also disliked that alstroemeria were added because I don’t really care for them. With that being said, the flowers were good quality and they cheered up the recipient.

This is possibly the rudest, most unprofessional business I have encountered in Tulsa. My fiance didn't receive the flowers I ordered, they were delivered to the wrong area of the hospital. I was made aware the day after they were supposed to be delivered, so I called to follow up. When I called to inquire, the man that answered the phone had an attitude before I even said anything and said that she had been discharged from the hospital so they didn't deliver them. I then explained she is an employee, not a patient. He yelled back and forth with some women in a very agitated way, I presume to be his Mom, and then said, oh yeh we delivered them, he said he delivered them to someone who said they would deliver them to her, however, the area which he said he dropped them off at were nowhere near her department and she never received them. He then proceeded to be even ruder and I told him that she didn't receive them and he in not so many words said that she needs to learn where to pick up her deliveries then as if it was her fault. I asked that they make it right and resend them, he began to raise his voice at me and I told him that I didn't appreciate how he was speaking to me and that he was being very rude and HE HUNG UP ON ME! I waited a moment and called back and a woman answered, I again presume his Mommy and owner and she was just as equally rude.
My point in calling them was to have the flowers located, especially since my fiance said she called the delivery driver back after they left a message and nobody called her back. So she made the attempt to assist them to find her for delivery, they just didn't want to go above and beyond with their customer service. They didn't give me my money back after I asked that they redeliver. The moral of the story here, is they ruined a special surprise and the day had passed, so why even get the flowers to her after the fact, lastly I should have known to stick with Tony's Flowers who I normally use, I know for certain they would never treat a paying customer that way. Very disappointed. Ordered a Valentine’s Day bouquet a week ahead of time on flower girls website. Thirty multicolored tulips which I upgraded to fifty. The order didn’t arrive until 6:30. By that time my girlfriend had already left work. She works about one mile from the flower shop. I called around 2:00 to make sure the delivery would be made that day. I was informed it had just left. I called back at 4:00 to explain this was unacceptable. I was informed it was my fault because I hadn’t chose a delivery time. There was no delivery time option while placing the order, otherwise I would’ve chose first thing in the morning. My girlfriend got the flowers the following morning at her work. $209 is what I spent for 36 assorted roses to be delivered to my special person on her Birthday. After being incredibly rudely spoken to on the phone by an employee (who’s name wasn’t given) about the delivery (which was clearly spelled out and a generous tip had already been added to the order to help insure delivery) my significant other received her arrangement and it was NOT THE ARRANGEMENT I ORDERED! Over $200 spent carefully selecting what I thought she would enjoy and a different flower/vase combo is what she received. Incredibly rude customer service, and a disappointment in the fact that what she received wasn’t what I ordered. I will not be using this company again and would recommend that their employees change their attitudes when speaking to customers and become more diligent when creating the arrangements so that they actually look like what they are supposed to. Good luck if you decide to purchase something from this company, hopefully they will change their ways, but I will no longer be using them for anything.

Search for other reviews online and you can see a pattern in which they take more orders than they have the ability to fulfill, and then become abusive to customers who complain. I'm very disappointed in the flower count of my 9/6/21 Gerbera Daisy purchase. The flower count on the picture of the Gerbera Daisy product I purchased, has approx 15 flowers that can be seen from the website. The recipient sent me a picture of her arrangement which only has approx 7 flowers. FlowerGirls needs to require a quality control check, where arrangements are checked against the advertised product pictures. Clearly when the delivered product is less than 1/2 of what was purchased, there is a serious problem. I hope it is not intentional.

Had a great experience with Flower Girls of Tulsa! I inadvertently went to pick up the flower arrangement a day early, and the ladies there were so accommodating and made the effort to put it together last minute for me. They were all very nice and understanding. Only downfall is they don’t deliver to certain areas of downtown Tulsa (OSU Medical center area).

The worst customer service experience I have had with a business in a very long time. I ordered Mother's Day flowers for my M-I-L, received confirmation showing my requested delivery date of Saturday (5/8/21). At the end of that day I was told the flowers were out "on the truck", but they were never delivered that day. At 4:00 p.m. on Sunday I called again, and they had no idea where the flowers were - wanted to know if they could leave them on the front porch overnight if they were delivered too late. (To which I responded "Hell, no!")
By the end of the call, while still trying to get answers/resolution from the employee (owner?), she HUNG UP ON ME -- having never offered any type of apology, explanation, partial refund, or anything! The flowers were finally delivered right before 6:00 p.m.. Unbelievable...

Just awful. Either did not deliver the flowers, or delivered them to the wrong address. Then tried to blame me for their screw up. Afterwards, it took almost 2 weeks to get a refund. Cindy, presumably the owner, is not easy to work with. Do yourself a favor and do not use FlowerGirls.

I have used Flower girls a few times and I have been very satisfied. I had my Valentines order delivered a day before I had it scheduled. I called to ask why, which I had a good idea due to the winter weather. They began to tell me that it wasn’t delivered and then it was and then wasn’t. I love being able to order flowers from FlowerGirls. Being in another town, I can go online and look at the bouquet options available and order what I want based on what I can see. And every time I have ordered flowers, they actually look like what is on the website. That’s a huge issue to me because most florists will change out so many details that what gets sent is a sad rendition that looks nothing close to their website. But it is never a problem with FlowerGirls. I have had to send special instructions before, and it has been no problem for them. Another big plus is that they have always delivered when they said they would, even when I ordered last minute for same day delivery. I literally cannot say enough good things about FlowerGirls...I wish the florists in other areas of the country where I have sent flowers were as easy to order from, had such beautiful arrangements, gave as amazing customer service, and had as good of pricing, but none compare to FlowerGirls.

After seeing a picture of the bouquet my friend received and comparing it to the website picture, I was quite disappointed. The orange roses were replaced with faded peach carnations. The flowers overall looked pretty drab, and with there was no contrast of orange, blue and purple. I can’t believe I paid $70 for this bouquet.

I can assure you that the arrangement absolutely positively was delivered by myself the owner of Flowergirls to Inverness village, however we do not make the regulations and because it is an assisted living and they are trying to protect the people there that are more at risk they have a policy that I am not allowed on site, I am only allowed to deliver to the guard shack at the front gate. The guard at the guard shack signed the order I have proof that I deliver it on the day you requested. They did tell me that Inverness village has a policy that because of Covid19 that they have up to 24 hours to deliver their arrangements left at the front gate. To be honest i thought he was joking with me. I said its was her birthday I would hope that it would the expedited he said he would call right then he did ask me about the 1st name and I said obviously the 1st name is not grandma He said he would figure it out and give her a call. (so i thought that he was taking it asap) He also said all the family's know the policy and would send them adequately. I was unaware that is wasn't delivered that day because you did not call me and tell me that she had not received the arrangements so I am not sure what or when she was contacted or when she Received them .

the flower arrangement that arrived at my mother in law's house was pretty disappointing. I'm glad that she didn't know what it was supposed to look like (the picture). the arrangement comes in a shorter and wider looking vase than the one pictured and the different flowers were cut disproportionately with extra long ones hanging off. Just not even close to what is pictured here on the website.

Arrangement was small, especially since I ordered the “deluxe” upgrade. I know it isn’t going to be exactly what’s pictured, but when you pay more for an upgraded arrangement, it should be better than what’s pictured. My opinion.

I couldn’t decide between 2 or 3 but went with 3 because the flowers were beautiful, I was grateful for Sunday/Mother’s Day delivery and they were delivered at a decent time... HOWEVER, I was super disappointed because the bouquet delivered was NOT this arrangement which I picked out for a reason. Luckily my mom still loved them but it was odd the wrong ones were delivered, especially since if it was because they were out of these flowers or something but never received any notice about that so I figured it was an accident. Ok, no biggie, BUT then I called and left a voicemail hoping to get some kind of explanation. Then shortly after that my mom received another arrangement, so I thought, oh ok cool, the corrected the issue, except the new arrangement was still not even close to this one. It’s now been a full business day since all this occurred and I haven’t heard a word from the shop. I never heard anything from them to explain what happened. So, all in all, beautiful flowers but not what I ordered and poor business practices. Won’t be ordering from here again.

These flowers turned out better than the picture! We used Flower Girl’s last month for another birthday and for our wedding flowers. They are our go-to place for flowers. Ordering online and the flowers were perfect. My issue was the attitude of the delivery lady. I know we're going through stressful times but that's no reason to be rude. The flowers were to perk up my boyfriend who was having a bad week, and her bad attitude in delivering them was very memorable and put a big damper on the gift on flowers. I might give y'all another chance to have a good service experience but I won't order from here again if we get the same poor delivery attitude.

A couple of the roses looked like they had some type of disease on them and the flowers were not delivered to the apartment listed on the order but to the apartment office....this wasn't expected. The recipient had to drive to the office to pick up her flowers as opposed to having them delivered to her door.

The flowers we ordered were as expected however they were delivered earlier than we specified. We requested they be delivered on Saturday December 21st and they were delivered on Friday the 20th. If I wanted them there on Friday I would have ordered them that way!

What my daughter rec'd for her birthday wasn't "exactly" like this. This to me is bright and cheery. What was delivered was all red and yellow. Red carnations and various yellow flowers, including the sunflower. I paid extra for the "deluxe" not sure what was added for the extra $10.00, maybe the baby's breath as filler? I realize certain flowers may not have been available, just not what I was hoping for. I don't usually order flowers because they are so expensive and this may be another reason why not to. For me at least.
