Horrible arrangement! I chose this florist because the reviews stated that you got what was pictured. I have a go to florist but in a different location and wanted to use a floral shop close to the funeral home.
I chose an arrangement that had purple orchids in it. That was the entire draw to me for this floral arrangement.
On the morning of the delivery to the 2:00 pm. service, my office got a call stating that this florist did not have the purple orchids and they wanted permission to send an all-white arrangement. My personal assistant of over 10 years knows me well. She advised them to call my cell and speak to me directly as she did not believe I would want all white.
No one called me. There were no missed calls, no texts or any messages on my I-phone. I saw an email AFTER the time for delivery in which it states that the arrangement would be all white.
I responded knowing it was too late. I felt certain that if they had to deviate from what I requested that they would have used an equivalent or better flower and that they would have made it larger by using more stems. I get to the Memorial and I am ABSOLUTELY EMBARRASSED at what was sent! It was the cheapest, drab, no style, no artistic flare there with no orchids or any flower that would have been an equivalent in cost, quality or style! When I got very close to it, I could see a few very, very pale blue "steph". (That is the word they used in their email). That is an extremely common flower that can be found in bouquets at Kroger or Publix. I could have purchased a prettier arrangement at either of these places for 1/2 of the cost.
The arrangement was not even the shape of the one in the photo. And in a misrepresentation the florist sent a picture of the arrangement that they have in the photo on their website to my email indicating that was what was sent. The email stated something to the effect that your order has been delivered and showed the desired arrangement that I did NOT get. It did not show a picture of what was actually sent.
If they had made efforts to reach me at my cell number as my assistant instructed them AND if they had upped the quality of the substitution, I would have been pleased. I would have had no problem with an all white floral design had it been tastefully and artistically designed and had white orchids in it instead of the purple.
But that is NOT what I got.
The only other fact that readers should know is that the order was placed shortly after 5:00 p.m. on the day before the funeral. Their closing time according to the internet was 6:00 p.m.
To be fair, they did not have a lot of time before the service to get the order prepared and delivered. However, if they had time to call and talk to my assistant about the order, they could have called me. And I plainly gave them my cell number as the contact number not only on the order form but also on the account that I set up. When setting up the account, an office number was asked for otherwise I would have never even put it down. Like so many people today, I am not in my office frequently and the best way is my cell.
I will give them the benefit of the doubt that perhaps they were in a hurry and didn't notice that the contact number on the order was not the number they called. Where they lost me as a customer was by not following the clear and persistent instructions from my assistant to call my cell and of course the cell was provided. She even told them she knew how important this was to me and if they did not get me in the first attempt, to keep trying.
We all make mistakes. I do not judge a person or a business by a mistake, but by how they rectify the problem. When I returned from the Memorial service on late Friday around 5:30 p.m., I emailed them to tell them of my extreme disappointment and dissatisfaction. A whole 24 hours has gone by and I have received NO response. So sadly that is the end of this unhappy story.

Absolutely beautiful arrangement!!!!
There have been so many times that I have ordered flowers and the product did not reflect the photo or description online. This was not the case with Flower Talk. Not only did they deliver exactly what was described on their site but I also received a confirmation/approval photo of the arrangement PRIOR to it being delivered. In some instances, the florists’ photo may represent an overall theme or look and include a one-of-a-kind vase which cannot be exactly replicated. Although the actual bouquet may not precisely match the photo, its temperament will. Occasionally, substitutions of flowers or containers happen due to weather, seasonality and market conditions which may affect availability. If this is the case with the gift you've selected, the local florist will ensure that the style, theme and color scheme of your arrangement is preserved and will only substitute items of equal or higher value.
Every gift ordered through BloomNation is personally hand-delivered by the local florist. Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.
Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received cut-off times for same-day delivery that are based off of the recipient’s time zone. Florists that offer same day delivery display their same-day delivery cut-off time in their store detail section. Orders received after that time may be delivered the following day. Please note some florists may not make deliveries on Sunday.
