About the Shop
Welcome to Flower House!
We are a women owned and operated studio florist located in the heart of Thousand Oaks, CA. Everything we sell was made then photographed on site by our designers to ensure that our customers know exactly what they are getting.
Our passion is creating unique detailed florals and gifts that you can trust are designed with care and attention. When ever possible we source local goods from farmers and crafters in our community.
Our goal is to continuously work toward sustainability by composting, recycling, using grey water when apporopriate and avoiding plastics whenever possible. We are also delighted to contribute 5% of our sales to local non profits and charities.

Substitution Policy
In some instances, the florists’ photo may represent an overall theme or look and include a one-of-a-kind vase which cannot be exactly replicated. Although the actual bouquet may not precisely match the photo, its temperament will. Occasionally, substitutions of flowers or containers happen due to weather, seasonality and market conditions which may affect availability. If this is the case with the gift you've selected, the local florist will ensure that the style, theme and color scheme of your arrangement is preserved and will only substitute items of equal or higher value.
Delivery Policy
Every gift ordered through BloomNation is personally hand-delivered by the local florist. Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.
Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received cut-off times for same-day delivery that are based off of the recipient’s time zone. Florists that offer same day delivery display their same-day delivery cut-off time in their store detail section. Orders received after that time may be delivered the following day. Please note some florists may not make deliveries on Sunday.
To request a specific delivery time, please type it into the Special Instructions field during checkout. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences. Before major holidays, we recommend that you place your orders at least five days in advance.

Wow! If there were more stars available I would give them. I called to have flowers delivered to a patient in a hospital nearby to this business. The woman I spoke with, who ended up being the owner, was so pleasant and very helpful~you could almost hear the smile on her face. I told her my budget and asked her to just pick the freshest flowers she had (as opposed to me picking a specific arrangement). My friend absolutely loved her arrangement and texted me a picture - it IS gorgeous! Thank you to Flower House and a big shout out to Tess for her attitude and artistry!

I ordered a Valentines arrangement for my wife and it was more than I expected. The web site was very easy to order from and I chose the 'Designers Choice'. I called to thank Flower House 805 for the beautiful flowers and learned that Tess, the owner, makes all the arrangements herself. That is why I would recommend this place for flowers. The flowers are still looking great in our home five days after Valentines Day.
