Hello Friends! Flower House KC is a Studio Florist located in Overland Park. We offer same-day delivery in the Kansas City metro area, and we specialize in daily airy garden design arrangements. We also design flowers for social events, restaurant accounts, funerals, and interior styling. Each design is crafted carefully to each individual client with an emphasis on texture, shape, and seasonality. We offer curated Gift Baskets, Plant Baskets, Flower Subscriptions, Corporate gifts, and quick Same Day Delivery gift options. We love teaching floral workshops/ classes throughout the year and bringing floral enthusiasts together. We are also a full-service wedding and event florist. As seasons change, we also are continuously dreaming and being inspired. Let us tell your story and send your message in floral art. Laura Mohamadi
Laura is a floral artist, flowering all over Kansas City and surrounding areas. She has called Kansas City home since 2018. Her relationship with flowers started at a very young age as she grew up going to the Los Angeles flower market with her mother. While most kids were playing outdoors after school, she remembers helping to decorate, arrange florals and style tables from the age of 6. Laura considers storytelling to be an integral part of her design, admiring intricate details, movement, and colorful floral design. Her background in Music gives her a unique approach to design work, that translates in all her projects as "living floral art". Laura is a mother of four children : Melody, Enoch, Silas and Camilla. They continuously inspire her and are a big part of why she started her business. Her supportive husband; Farshad, played a crucial role in encouraging her to pursue her entrepreneurial dream.

Our subscriptions allow you to select a delivery frequency that best suits your needs - either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.
How often will I be billed?
You will be billed 5 days before the delivery schedule you select (either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly). This is to ensure your florist will have adequate time to prepare your order.
How do I make changes to my subscription plan?
You can call the florist any time before the scheduled delivery or pickup date to make changes to your subscription plan and orders.
Can I pause my subscription plan?
Yes, you can! contact us at (816) 335-8695, let us know the next best delivery date and we’ll pause your subscription.
How do I cancel my subscription plan?

I've ordered from you before and in the past, the product was wonderful. This time, the product my wife received was really small and the flowers just didn't "pop" like the past. They were already blooming pretty full and looked a bit droopy. I just would have maybe felt a bit differently had I not spent over $100 dollars for what was received. Honestly felt like I could have found an arrangement much bigger and better looking had I ordered from a local Hy-Vee or Pricechopper flower shop.

I'm super impressed with the flowers that were sent! Three fat, beautiful roses, Queen Anne's lace, several colorful pink and yellow blossoms and lovely variegated greenery made for a gorgeous arrangement! I asked for a slight color scheme adjustment and the artist made the perfect choices. The beautiful floral puzzle and candy treat were exactly as pictured, and a thoughtful combination to offer along with the bouquet.
I ordered online, after closing, and the recipient had them at the door by 10:30 a.m. the next morning. Everything was nicely packed into a gift box for delivery.

The flowers were left on the floor by my door, not what I hoped it would be. Our other florist would make the delivery and hand deliver the flowers to my wife, that makes it special, at this point it would’ve been better if I picked up the arrangement and gave them to my wife. The flower bouquet was sent as a birthday bouquet as a surprise. According to the recipient when they arrived they were wilted and sad looking. After the were cut off the stem ends and placed in water the flowers perked up. Still the greenery is wilted. I was disappointed to hear about that since I specifically selected a local florist rather than the usual online kind.

Laura went above and beyond to help me with my order. Which was really quite a simple process thanks to their wonderful website and beautiful gifting package options for every budget. I was able to order a package and a la carte add on an extra treat for only $5. I've searched other floral places in KC and hands down, every time, I come back to flower house KC because of her beautiful arrangements (not stuff like traditional flowers) and incredible customer service. So much so, I recently paid $40 to have her deliver to Harrisonville, MO because no one else in the area was anywhere near as good as her, in my opinion! I can't recommend Flower House KC enough!

For what I paid, that picture, is not what was delivered. And maybe said picture is the 200$ version..possibly. However the mid priced version (I didn’t get the cheapest) bouquet I got was basic, ill shaped and had filler flowers. I can not believe anyone uses baby’s breath anymore ESPECIALLY a high end flower shop. Because, I see no filler flowers in that pic hence why I chose this local shop and not Farm Girl online. Never again.

Every gift ordered through BloomNation is personally hand-delivered by the local florist.
Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.
Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received
cut-off times for same-day delivery that are based off of the recipient’s time zone.
Florists that offer same-day delivery display their same-day delivery cut-off time in
their store detail section. Orders received after that time may be delivered the
following day. Please note some florists may not make deliveries on Sunday.
