The flowers were beautiful; the ribbon not so much. The ribbon did not look like the picture at all, and that is why I picked this arrangement.

We are sorry that you were disappointed with the ribbon. We try to duplicate our arrangements exactly as they are pictured. However, sometimes because of supply issues, we have to make substitutions. In this case we had to use a different vase and we had to use a wider width ribbon. Thus the reason the ribbon had 3 loops instead of 4. When we have to substitute a vase or ribbon etc. it is our company policy to add extra flowers to the arrangement. Your arrangement did in fact have more flowers in it than the picture. Our website states that sometimes we have to make substitutions. But we always strive to create the arrangement exactly as pictured . Again we are sorry that you were disappointed with the ribbon.

Granted the florist will never make a product look like what the photo is because of availability or for that matter the lack of skill of the florist, perhaps at tying ribbon or doing other associating decoration, however, the tackiest thing about the floral delivery, besides the fact that the flowers were 90% open Was the extremely sloppy handwritten card that look like something my dead grandfather would have written with bony fingers from the crypt .

We substituted a short round vase for the square vase and used 18 red roses plus added greenery (not in the pic) to make the arrangement fuller. The dimensions, as stated with the pic are 8"H x 10'L x 8" W.
The arrangement we sent was taller and wider. We, at the Flower Barrel, value our customers , so we use only the freshest flowers and always make the arrangement better than the "pic"

I ordered flowers for a sick loved one on January 1. New Years Day with delivery stated to be same day. Matt from the Flower Barrel called that day to inform that all wholesale flower outlets were closed that day and he would be unable to fulfill the order, as he did not believe his in-store inventory was sufficiently fresh to make an arrangement that would meet his high standards. He would deliver the following day with a few extra touches to compensate for the delay, which he did.
Matt followed through with flying colors and our family appreciated his personal attention to ensuring that the highest quality product was delivered as soon as possible.

Originally the flowers were never delivered and I was unable to contact the florist. I reached out to them via Facebook and was able to discover that the shop had been closed and my order should not have been accepted. They went out of their way to make it right and delivered a beautiful, huge arrangement the day they discovered the mistake. I ordered last minute, however they were still able to deliver on Mother’s Day. Delivery was perfect and the flowers were absolutely fantastic. Only thing I would say is I ordered “ Tropical with a bit of succulent and traditional” however the photo my mother sent me lacked any succulents, which is why I ordered this arrangement. Still, it was a wonderful arrangement and I would order from them again.

The picture shows lillies but none in my arrangement. One side of the arrangement had no flowers so I can't set it in the middle of the room.. I got the expression you were running out of flowers and it was rushed out.

Based on your special request concerning the recipient we chose to use partial open sunflowers so she could enjoy them longer. Your arrangement was a premium and because of your special request and the fact that we chose to use partial open sunflowers, we added more sunflowers than the premium arrangement called for.

Sent my 83 yr old Mother this bouquet for Mother’s Day. The bouquet looked hastily put together with overgrown eucalyptus leaves, 2 stalks of carnations, baby’s breath & 10 lilies, NOT ONE was open. I called the florist 3 days after delivery to mention the issue (not one was still open) and the response was “yea, that’s all the supplier had. They should open in a few days.” After 2 more days 2 (of the 10) buds finally opened. As of 4 days post-delivery only 2 are still open. I would have assumed they would call to mention the bouquet going out looked nothing like the picture? The only blooms on it at delivery were the 2 carnation stems. Would attach a pic but the system doesn’t have that option. Disappointed

The roses were lovely. The name says Stargazers, however, there was not even one stargazer lily, and there was no little pillow saying I love you (the bear was sent, however). We were disappointed because it would have been prettier with the lilies. We upgraded to the deluxe and paid over $100. Not too sure we will use this company again.

While the bouquet was beautiful, I wish I would have been notified that the bouquet would not have been an exact match. Same flowers but odd colors. I wanted hues of pink like the photo and instead I got red, yellow, and purple. I’m not a fan of giving red roses. I understand flowers can be seasonal but red was the only color available? I was impressed with the arrangement, and the ease of delivery. I sent the flowers ahead of my fiancee to surprise her during her bachelorette trip. So why the low rating? Well, whoever transcribed my message meant for the little card that comes attached to the flowers wrote it so unclearly that the girls thought the signature was from one of the bridesmaid's parents. Only when my fiancee came back from her trip did I realize that the surprise was ruined, and I had to prove that I actually bought the flowers for her with my receipt. We appreciate the free shipping locally and for the wonderful options at a great price. We used to use flower delivery services but have had such a great experience working directly with the florist that we plan to stick with this route with all future flower orders.

I ordered these flowers and was charged $60. I was promised same day delivery and the person I sent to, never received. I am very unhappy.

We were shocked to see this review. The customer sent us an order for her Mom's birthday flowers (apparently, her Mom's birthday was on Sunday) via our website at 3 pm on Sunday 12/15/19. She requested a same day delivery. It is stated on our site that a same day delivery request must be received by 12 noon. 3 p.m. on a Sunday is well past 12 noon. We cancelled the delivery because it was received after 12 noon and we had sold out of all inventory for the day. The customer was charged via the web site $51.68. The arrangement that the customer chose was $42.96 + a $5 delivery fee + tax = $51.68 When we cancelled the order, the customer was issued an immediate refund for $51.68. The next day, Monday, 12/16, the customer called around 11 a.m. upset about her delivery. We explained that we did not and could not promise her a same day delivery on Sunday because the order was placed well after 12 noon and we were sold out of inventory. The customer decided in that conversation to place another order with us for her Mom and because she called before 12 noon , we were able to deliver to her Mom that day.

Flowers looked pretty nice but died within hours of my wife getting them. Very disappointed and feel like I wasted my money.

The Flower Barrel goes to the flower market daily to be sure our flowers are the freshest they can be. Mr. Reese requested that his arrangement be delivered after 9 a.m. and left at the door. It was 100 degrees that day and the flowers were left outside in the shade but in the heat for several hours. The room mate then placed the flowers in the refrigerator for several hours. And, yes, when the recipient got home that night and she took the flowers out of the refrigerator, the flowers died within in minutes. 100 degree heat is lethal to fresh flowers and fresh flowers can not be put into refrigerators with fruits and vegetables. The gas that the fruit and vegetables emit are lethal to a fresh flower. I understand Mr. Reese was trying to surprise his wife and in the interest of good customer service The Flower Barrel went ahead and replaced the arrangement for Mr Reese.

Flowers are gorgeous and delivered in person (came back twice) no extra charges. Very personable sales people. This is not a chain you speak to the florist who will be putting your arrangement together and delivering them. I shopped around ... Flower Barrel has the best prices no ridiculous "service fees". Flower presentation was exceptional and I really felt like the upgrade was worth the price. The delivery was perfectly timed. The handwriting was beautifully written, although it was a bit difficult to read and so my recipient had to wait until I could read it to her to know exactly what it said, but the beautiful arrangement and quality of flowers spoke the message themselves. Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.
Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received
cut-off times for same-day delivery that are based off of the recipient’s time zone.
Florists that offer same-day delivery display their same-day delivery cut-off time in
their store detail section. Orders received after that time may be delivered the
