Deb Staelgraeve
Deb grew up in the floral industry, her family started North Monroe Greenhouse, Inc in 1939. After it was sold in 2007, Deb opened up Deb's Flowers. Deb also is involved in the community. Deb's has been Voted #1 Florist in Monroe 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024. Along with all this Deb is very involved in her community. She is a City of Monroe Councilwoman, Director on the Monroe Business Alliance, Board of Directors Kiwanis Club of Monroe and many more.

I’m from the west side of the state but was able to do an online order over the Labor Day weekend for flowers for a funeral on Sept 2. Thank you so much for getting the flowers to the funeral home on such short notice. The flowers were beautiful and hopefully a bit of a blessing to the family.

I was disappointed when I saw the flowers I sent my mother for Mother’s Day. The cost was $89, and the bouquet was just so small. The flowers were fresh, and it was cute but not for the price.

Order was placed 24 hrs in advance for a birthday. At 4:30pm The order was still not delivered to the birthday person. So I called deb's floral checking on the order Thinking it may have been lost. I was assured it was on its way But the flowers were still not delivered by five thirty pm. At 8:30, I was sent a text from the birthday person stating that they received the flowers.Not sure when they were actually truly delivered but half the day was already done. The flowers that were delivered are nothing like what the picture on line shows. The flowers delivered were yellow and had no resemblance to the pink hue shown that I ordered.

The arrangement you ordered was more of a white and salmon and due to the holiday some flowers were not available. I will however be willing to give you a store credit for your next order for $20.00. We try very very hard to get every order to value and delivered at a reasonable time and with all the deliveries sometimes it's very hard to do. I'm sorry for any inconvenience. Thank You

Deb’s Floral Designs did not disappoint! I grew up in Monroe but now live several hours away, so it was great to know my hometown florist would provide such a great service. The arrangement I ordered was delivered on the day of my choosing, looked just like the photo I chose from and my Mom was thrilled. Being able to add the box of candy and the balloon was an added bonus. I highly recommend Deb’s Floral Designs to anyone in need of a great florist!

The flowers were beautiful. BUT, these were from the kids and grandkids. On the online order I made a request and I called and requested in person (twice) as well for there to be ribbons that said Dad, Grampy, and Bumpy. This would have made it so special. I was reassured both times on the phone that these ribbons would be included but were not. It did bring an unnecessary sadness to an already very sad time.

The arrangement we ordered and what was delivered was not even close to the image on the website. Plus, we ordered the largest arrangement, and the arrangement sent was much smaller that the image. Very disappointed with the amount we spent.

The dish garden I ordered was smaller then the picture. It also didn't have the flowers or a pink bow, the biw was blue. The arrangement was for a women so I thought maybe even a purple bow could have been used. All in all it was very pretty.

Shout out to Debs!!! I went online and requested a custom design and gave a limit of what how much I wanted to spend ($75), and let me tell you, this arrangement was the talk of the viewing! I requested blue and yellow with a pop of white (U of M themed), and it exceeded my expectations! What a incredible job! Not to mention I placed the order super late for delivery to the funeral home the next day and they made it happen!! I've always used Debs, but always ordered online or call last minute and have never disappointed. But this arrangement deserves a standing ovation!!

Sadly the arrangement didn't look fresh. The geraniums had lost most of it's petals prior to delivery and the vines were sparce dry and brittle. I ordered the patio plant to be delivered on the 9th and received a message saying they were delivered, but were actually delivered today on the 10th. This was a gift for my neighbor and I watched them be delivered today and did see the plant up close as I dropped in to see how she was doing. I have always been happy with orders placed through Deb's, but sadly disappointed especially this being a gifted order.

The flowers were wonderfully done the giving of the run around and being told it's out for delivery then another person saying it's not out for delivery was a disaster. I got no apology no nothing the driver made up excuses the entire time. You tried to say my mother missed you guys but she had been home all day and I had to call and specifically ask if there was a delivery from debs flowers and this was suppose to be a Mothers Day surprise. Therefore the surprise was ruined and the experience overall was terrible and I will never use your flower shop ever again.

These flowers were delivered and not found for 3 days. Why do you ask for special instructions, PLEASE USE THE BACK DOOR" if you aren't going to follow them? They were left on a porch that is not used...What a disappointment! And my delivery confirmations says they were hand delivered...

Born and raised in Monroe, I always try to give back local, given I haven’t lived in Monroe in 25+ years; this bouquet in person is very pretty, I do not however think the pricing reflects a deluxe arrangement. I will also share when I called late afternoon on the expected delivery day, whomever I spoke with was a bit rude – it’s sad when you want to give back local and still get subpar service. Regardless of what internal circumstances you have, don’t make them your customer’s problem!

The delivery was fast and the flowers looked great, but multiple things were spelled wrong on the note, including names. My original written note had everything spelled correctly on it. Just disappointed in something so simple going wrong and that’s all I could focus on when my friend sent me a picture.

As this was for Valentines Day the red is equally, if not more important than the white flowers. I spent a lot of money for the flowers & for the delivery and I am disappointed in what was delivered.

Filling up space with ferns and other greenery just waters down how pretty this arrangement should have been. Online the bouquet looks red and white. No greens whatsoever. What the recipient received was an arrangement of greens all throughout with an abundance of white daisies with some red here and there. My review of the arrangement that was picked up yesterday from your shop is this, it was lacking the beautiful flowers that are shown in the picture. I wish I would have taken a picture of it to send you to help explain what I’m referring to. In other words, for the price, it was skimpy and I was disappointed, although I loved the rain deer vase it came in. I understand how busy your shop is this time of year but, giving each arrangement a second look and a second thought before calling it done, will make a difference in how pleased your customers will be. After all, the purpose of going to a florist, to make the arrangement, is to have a bouquet better than what we could have made ourselves.

This was for my mothers birthday and while the arrangement looked similar to the pictures on display, some of the flowers were wilted. I don’t think that is acceptable, I paid 60$ for half beautiful, half wilted flowers. I know they weren’t sitting outside because someone was home when they were hand delivered, also the trip was very local to the shop, I don’t know what went wrong. I wrongly assumed that they wouldn’t put wilted flowers in an arrangement, so I’m not sure if I will purchase from them again.

This was the first time I’ve had a terrible experience in the past few years. Do not order flowers from here unless you are having them delivered in Monroe. I had an order place for toledo residence for Mother’s Day ( mind your they say it was just an extra charge to deliver there not that they hire those out from other florist to do , because then I would of just ordered from a Toledo florist) ...I find this out after calling several times to see what had happened to them and it’s now a week later and still no flowers arrived and no explanation of why!! Not even a call back to let me know they looked into the situation.

The online ordering experience was super easy. Options for cards, extras and directions were easily accessible. I also appreciated the the delivery directions option. The flowers arrived on time and were beautiful. The bouquet I ordered did mot include roses, but when the bouguet arrived Deb had slipped in a few amongst the daisy's, and they were beautiful. My only downfall, I did order the premium arrangement and felt the bouguet wasn't as full as the picture showed, but still it did include roses and my Mom loved them. Overall very happy!

The flowers were beautiful for my grandmother’s birthday; however, they delivered them to her a whole week earlier than scheduled. She loved them, but it was kinda disappointing that they didn’t show up as a surprise on the day of her birthday as originally planned. I would still recommend, but definitely call a couple days later to confirm the delivery date despite what your confirmation email says you planned for.

Was very disappointed. Flowers were supposed to be delivered on Valentine’s Day. Didn’t get them until 4:30 the next afternoon. The girl that delivered said she couldn’t read the address. The phone number was right on the card, so she could have called. It was a phone order so it wasn’t our fault she couldn’t read address. Then she said to check the flowers because they had been in the cooler for two days. Then if they were ready for delivery why weren’t they delivered before 4:30 the next afternoon? I do have to say the flowers were beautiful. Only got to enjoy them one day because my wife went out of town the day after she got them

I have not seen the arrangement that I sent as a gift, but I did make my purchase DAYS IN ADVANCE of delivery asking that the arrangement be delivered before 11 am. Deb's Floral did not do that. I find this to be poor quality service given that they had DAYS to make sure this could be done.

Ordered this basket for my mom's birthday. What came didn't really match the picture. There were no orange lilies, not even an orange flower replacement. The ballon was black and the ribbons were dull dark colors. Looked more appropriate for a man then a woman. One third of the flowers were already wilted. Kinda embarrassed.
