For over 35 years, Dales Flowers From the Heart has been a well known floral provider in Patchogue Village. We are blessed with a wonderful and creative staff who values each customer and works hard to make each customer feel appreciated. For those of you who are not flower connoisseurs, our staff members have many suggestions and ideas to help you with your selections. We believe in giving you the best flower value for your dollar. Not-So-Deluxe “Blush Life Bouquet” – More Like a Blush-Sized Disappointment

Ordered the Deluxe Blush Life Bouquet for my brother’s graduation — got 2 lilies, 3 roses, and a whole lot of empty space. For $105, I expected something lush and photo-worthy. What arrived looked more like the Standard… on a budget.

Tried messaging them on social — crickets. I wanted to support a local Long Island florist, but this felt more like a floral catfish. Wouldn’t trust them with another order.

We are sorry that we missed the mark on your order. Upon reviewing the order, the price was $79.99, every item has a receipe that is filled to value for the arrangement price. Delivery and tax are not included to enhance the arrangement. Social media is not monitored on a daily basis and it is best that you call the shop during normal business hours to talk to someone about your order. We’ve been in Patchogue village for over 30 + years with a stellar reputation with thousands of satisfied and repeat customers. Again we apologize we missed the mark for you, and hope you give us another chance in the future.

I ordered this wreath for my brother’s funeral. It cost over $300, but fell short of what it was supposed to look like. I chose this piece based on the picture. If it wasn’t going to look like the picture, I should have been told. This was a fail, and I am very disappointed.

I purchased this piece for my cousin's wake. I purchased the Premium level, which was more expensive. I was very disappointed. The piece was very small & it looked more like the Standard level piece, pictured on their website.

Very Disappointed!! What I ordered was not what was delivered. The owner had the audacity to say that "they are busy" with a half assed apology! There is always an issue with this place - last year I ordered an arrangement from their website and they reached out to me and asked me where I saw the arrangement because they could not find it on their website and then it took them an additional Full Day to deliver once they found it. I will never patronize this establishment again!!!!!! I don't see the option for ZERO STARS!!!

The flowers were received on time and were acceptable, but I asked in my comment to please include a pic or banner stating it was for a grandmother or from her Grandchildren… It was NOT included.. For that I will not use your store again!! Easy thing to make a customer happy who tipped well and doent a lot of money for the arrangement.. You COULD’VE done better!!!!!!!!!!!

I did not receive this item! I did receive another that was a center peace, that I ordered as a gift for someone else & was to be delivered 11/26 to another address. I called the store & was told they would come back & pickup the center peace. As of this time no one came . Please call me at 631-585-6538 to correct the matter.

When I arrived at the funeral service, the spray stood out from the others because it was not full looking. It lacked the blue and white flowers. All that stood out were the red carnations. It looked nothing like the picture. This was a surprise as all other arrangements I’ve ordered from Dale's have been beautiful, full, and received plenty of compliments.

Flowers were supposed to be delivered Sat 5/11 for Mothers Day. I waited all day. I then looked thru my emails and one was sent at 1:30 saying they were delivered. I called shop and they were closed. I left a message. I got a call Sunday morning. Spoke with owner. She insisted flowers were delivered. Maybe they were, but not to me. She said she could make up another arrangement but wouldn't be what I ordered because they were so popular she ran out of purple flowers twice. Of course, they were beautiful. she said she had pink would that be ok I said I really had no choice. I was never offered a refund or a discount or even my choice of a different arrangement. Flowers were delivered and they were not in any way comparable to what I paid for. Arrangement was skimpy, there were dead flowers in the center. All pale pink when I had ordered bold colors. My husband called and told her how dissatisfied we were. We've been loyal customers since Dale only had her shop in Farmingville over 20 years. He told her we would not be returning customers.

We spent a great deal of time with you on the phone on Mother's Day trying to rectify this. Unfortunately, due to the overwhelming demand of Mother's Day, we couldn't redeliver your exact order. You agreed to accept another arrangement. We made you a comparable value piece and all flowers were fresh, as we had a small delivery of fresh flowers on Sunday morning. Your husband did call us, and while on the phone told me to "Shut up, I'm talking", which was totally disrespectful, and when our delivery driver returned told us that he was rude to him as well. We pride ourselves on our beautiful arrangements and our designers with over 30 years in the industry. When leaving a 1 star review, please consider the whole story.

I ordered my arrangements in line and very close to Mother’s Day. Not only were they beautiful they were delivered on time, delivery was at a business that closed at 2pm. No confusion or mix ups. Great service, the owner truly cares about getting it done right and delivering in time. Would highly recommend them

Nothing similar to what was ordered. Very disappointed already expressed my disappointment to Sonia, sent a photo too. Looked like a very inexperienced person put it together. So far no resolution to my complaint. I’ll be finding another florist.

The recipient not get the piece I ordered now was it the piece featured on the delivery email. I called the shop and spoke with Tonya who took the order. She was very adamant in the fact that since it was Mother’s Day they ran out of almost everything. I asked why I did not get a call re: this and was basically told they were too busy. She offers to send another piece but couldn’t guarantee what. I do not want the second piece. This is the first time I dealt with Dale’s and will be the last. Not even an apology. Very poor business sense if any at all.

I was not happy when my friend sent me pictures of the arrangement she received. The composition, color, and structure were not good. I asked that the arrangement be yellow and blue roses with white filler. The arrangement she got was hideous. It had yellow and blue roses, some white and pink filler, a hideous head of dull blue hydrangea front and center. Will not use this florist again. On the bright side, it was delivered as promised!
