About the Shop
Margarita Cambray began her journey in a corporate floral chain where she worked as part of the production department, which consisted of recreating ‘recipes’ of floral arrangements the company had. The more she worked with flowers, the more she became fascinated with them, “I started imaging all the different kinds of designs I could do myself.” She became determined to learn everything there was about flowers: their names, when they sprouted and where, how best to take care of them, the colors they came in, and so on. As she continued to work in the production department, her curiosity grew when she took a peek into the designer’s room.
The things the women could do with flowers struck a chord in Margarita and her passion for all things floral soared. The designers were making art out of flowers, and Margarita wanted to be an artist too. So, she asked for an opportunity to learn, trained and took classes, and finally, she became a lead designer.
Twenty years later, Margarita is the head designer of her own flower shop. Together with her husband, James, they opened Dahlias de Cambray in Bolingbrook in 2016. After four years, their goal remains the same, to provide the freshest flowers uniquely and beautifully designed. Margarita enjoys stepping outside of the traditional design and arrangements, and will take on any floral challenge her customers give her. Her favorite flowers are the ones that look unusual and she will often include them in her creations, especially for customers that enjoy a thrill or two. However, classic and modern designs have a home here too.

Substitution Policy
In some instances, the florists’ photo may represent an overall theme or look and include a one-of-a-kind vase which cannot be exactly replicated. Although the actual bouquet may not precisely match the photo, its temperament will. Occasionally, substitutions of flowers or containers happen due to weather, seasonality and market conditions which may affect availability. If this is the case with the gift you've selected, the local florist will ensure that the style, theme and color scheme of your arrangement is preserved and will only substitute items of equal or higher value.
Delivery Policy
Every gift ordered through BloomNation is personally hand-delivered by the local florist. Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.
Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received cut-off times for same-day delivery that are based off of the recipient’s time zone. Florists that offer same day delivery display their same-day delivery cut-off time in their store detail section. Orders received after that time may be delivered the following day. Please note some florists may not make deliveries on Sunday.
To request a specific delivery time, please type it into the Special Instructions field during checkout. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences. Before major holidays, we recommend that you place your orders at least five days in advance.
