The arrangement was very mediocre and nothing special. It looked less robust than the picture online. Also, when I called just to check in on the order, the guy answering the phone seemed to be a little annoyed that I asked him questions about whether it was delivered whether they had a picture to send me of the bouquet.

Was disappointed that the flowers weren’t what was in the photo for the cost. I expected that the bouquet would have the same amount of roses as the photo and be a softer pink like cotton candy. When I received that it had been delivered, the photo was blurred, I’m guessing so I wouldn’t know it wasn’t the same as the photo I ordered from. From now on I will go into floral shops purchase and have what I see delivered. Was glad at least the recipient was happy as she didn’t know. I was wasn’t.

Upon receiving the flowers they did not look like this picture the sunflowers were almost dead and they were black around the edges. It looks like it was thrown together last minute it was sloppy and very sad to see it. I would like someone to call me in regards to this issue.

Typically, this florist provides excellent arrangements, but this time, the bouquet I received was entirely different from what was advertised. The flower types and colors were not the same, and they substituted two kinds of flowers. The greenery was also different, giving the entire arrangement the appearance of a hastily assembled, cost-cutting effort rather than a thoughtfully curated bouquet.
Additionally, the special delivery instructions were completely disregarded. I explicitly requested a call before the flowers went out for delivery, yet no such call was made. Because the arrangement was sent to a business, the flowers were in poor condition by the time they reached the recipient. Whether they were delivered that way or damaged in transit between the front door and her desk remains unclear.
I placed this order well in advance and specified that the flowers needed to arrive before 11 AM—an essential detail, as she would not have received them otherwise. Had I known the request would be ignored, I would have opted to pick up the flowers myself, saving both time and frustration. On updating this post, I was called within a very short time. A new arrangement was sent out post haste ON VALENTINES DAY!
And they corrected all of the issues, a slight oversight overly corrected great customer service and attention to detail. I appreciate everything you’ve done and will definitely be using them again.

I left clear instructions for them, I even called the day of to make sure they knew where they were going. The gentleman on the phone read everything back to me. I was confident they would deliver the flowers without ruining the surprise. Boy was i wrong. They missed the delivery, ruining the surprise, and delivered a dozen roses with only 11 red roses. I didn't even call to complain about that. I am very disappointed in their service. They were kind enough to throw in 2 free balloons.

I've ordered from D&L before and had great experiences, however, this one was not the same. I understand the flowers need some time to bloom, I can wait for that. BUT I paid for 2 bouquets of balloons with this and there were only 4 balloons total. 2 reds, 1 pink, and 1 purple. So it didn't even match the bouquet. I was expecting more.

Well I will say it was prettier on the website, it was fuller and more colorful. I did pay the extra for it to be larger which also it just seemed like a lot gaps in the bouquet. I unfortunately expected the delivery to be done earlier in the day. My purchase was delivered at 4:40pm late in the day. I would have liked if my person was able to enjoy the flowers all day instead of taking them right home before the office closed.
My first time ordering from D&L and maybe next time I will ask for approximate delivery time before I purchase. The arrangement was beautiful.

Anytime I need to purchase flowers in this case for valentines 2024 I never have issues with delivery. The only thing I have to mention is that this the flowers werent handed to my wife personally, a coworker took them and said she would give them to my wife. I explained the frustration I was having to D&L (Blackstone) through an email and was told they would take care of me. That was about 2 or 3 years ago. I was pretty disappointed though, in how the arrangements looked... not really arranged, just a bunch of blooms shoved into a vase. I live out of town and ordered these flowers for my grieving aunt who just lost her son to cancer. It was great that I was able to order these online and write a message in another language. The disappointing part of this order was when I had to call with a question. The man who answered the call did not answer the phone which the standard proper greeting which would have been “Hello, this is D & L flowers, how may I help you?” He say “hi” which prompt me to ask if “….this was D & L, I’m call about an order I made online, I was given this number.” He said “yeah” with a long pause as though he is waiting to say “yeah and what?” Since he never asked me how he could help, I said “do you alway talk to all your customers like this?” He said something along the lines of “people who call generally have a problem so what is your problem.” I started being rude and he changed his tone. What I should have done was cancel my order and went somewhere else. I spent $300 here but they will not be getting my business in the future. I’ve never had a bad experience in a flower shop as people who sell flowers are usually happy. They are in the profession of making others happy. This was sadly not the case. If his man is an employee, they need to let him go. If he is the owner, he should close shop.

The "Loving Farewell" tribute bouquet was the perfect fit for my mother's "Celebration of Life". However, on the second day, many of the flowers were droopy and had to be removed from the arrangement. The Hydrangeas, for example, didn't even last 12 hours before they were limp and pulling other flowers down. The arrangement was beautiful, but for close to $100 I'd expect the arrangement to last more than 12 hours.

Not that I won't order again from here because I do like what has been done on past orders. A few of the flowers were broken and large hole in center of arraignment. The worst experience ever! I spent $187.38 for a bouquet of flowers (premium roses) that were delivered to my wife on her 23rd Anniversary on 6/25/22. The flower arrangement looked like crap; the flower stems were broken missing flowers. I called the store immediately and they refused to issue a refund. They actually wanted to “pick-up” the flowers, and “then” offered me a refund! I never had such a terrible customer experience with this florist. Will never do business with them again nor friends nor families. No company values nor empathy. And very argumentative.

The Gift showed up, not as shown in picture. Picture Looks Vibrant, Happy, Alive & Full. I was shown a picture of the arrival & I was embarrassed on what I sent as a get well gift. Hardly any Yellow Roses...and the one's that were in the bouquet were not even bloomed yet but already dying...edges were brown instead of Fresh Yellow. Mostly white flowers in it and those were looking sad all facing down. It looked as if they had rough ride on the way to their destination. I was refunded but only $9 out of over $60 spent. The delivery itself is $17.99. I think I should have gotten more than $9 back based on photos I provided to backup what I am claiming.

I paid for the premium upgrade but the bouquet received was barely the same size as the picture. The website should show or describe what you’re getting when selecting an upgrade. I chose DandL because I know they’ve been in business in Fresno for a very long time and I’ve seen the beautiful bouquets they make. If I had paid regular price, I’d say the bouquet was satisfactory but because I paid the premium price, I expected above and beyond the pictured item. Reluctant to continue to purchase just because the business has been around for a long time.

First off you didn’t have the rainbow roses in stock. If you don’t have it in stock it shouldn’t show available on your website. You all did give me 2 dozen roses in assorted colors in the place of the rainbow roses but I did expect to see more colors than red, yellow and white. Either way if I order in the future I will be sure to call instead of ordering online. This way I do not end up disappointed in the end. Which assorted colors I expected a little purple possibly pink but I did not see either. Definitely call or go into the shop to order your arrangement, do not order online.

D&L went out of their way to call the Church in Clovis and ask them what would be best for the delivery as the service was being held on a Saturday afternoon. I was thoroughly impressed with their immediate communication with the church and with me as well to let me know their plan. There are few small businesses left like D&L Roses that deliver gorgeous arrangements with such care to detail and storage situations for their floral arrangements as they initiated this on their own and were willing to deliver on a Saturday without hesitation or an additional charge to me. Today this is unheard of, and I was absolutely blown away. I will be their lifelong client when in need of any type of floral arrangement for any type of event as they take great pride in their arrangements and commitment to service. This was the worst experience I have had purchasing flowers. I chose this company because of the rose and sun flower option. The roses were green and closed the sunflowers were already drying and there was a lot of leaves used to fill up space which were already turning brown. Considering I spent $130.00 I was very disappointed. I do not trust this company and how they do business. This was a terrible experience.

I am disappointed that the bouquet was not matched closer to the picture of the bouquet I ordered. I thought there would small light pink roses and there were none, instead cheaper pink carnation were used. It seems in order to make up for the lack of the small roses more of the dark pink roses were used. This took away from the whole point, to me and why I ordered this particular bouquet, the light array the bouquet in the picture displayed. The hydrangea was huge compared to the picture. Overall, I just don’t feel the colors blended as well as the picture. I was looking for light airy and did not get what I wanted. The order online was easy and delivery was prompt.

The general manager James was extremly immature and showed a childish behavior. My husband of 18 years has always went to this business for me and decided to place an order for our daughter. After this nightmare, we will no longer go to the place as it has gone extremly downhill. I tried to get someone higher than the GM (James) as he refused to do so and only gave me a Hotmail email account address and said he would forward to the owners. If the owners read this review, and value long time customers, I would love for you to contact me. DO NOT ORDER FLOWERS ONLINE AS TO YOU WILL BE WAITING ALL DAY FOR THEM WITH NO ETA. Later that night I asked my fiance if she recieved anything at work. She said no. I asked again, told her she shouldve got flowers. She said she didnt. I was very unhappy and thought they delivered to the wrong place. Nope, they were delivered at 4:53pm. My woman decided to leave a few min early. The delivery person delivered them to the office manager. What they shouldve done is contacted me and ask if they could leave them or deliver the following day since my instructions were to hand deliver. The recipient sent me a picture of the arrangement once it was delivered Friday, January 29. It was really pretty but it didn't include all the flowers in the image and there weren't substitutes in place of the flowers not included. I called customer service and was told to write to the manager about my experience and attach the picture to an email. She told me he should reach out to me within a few days. I sent sympathy flowers to family and was disappointed to see more green in the bouquet than actual flowers. Some of the flowers were not blooming and baby breath-like flowers were added as not shown in the photo. I understand arrangements may be adjusted depending on inventory, however, the overall presentation did not meet nor come close to expectations. I appreciate the quick turn around time, but the purchase was not worth the price paid.

I ordered I believe the medium size. When I saw it at our friends house I was shocked at how small it was. For the price, I think it was the wrong size. I believe it should have been 16” tall, and it was 10” tall. Very disappointed.

I was extremely disappointed in the flowers the were used in place of these. I understand replacing a flower if these exact ones were not available. The greenery is not this. None of them look anything at all like any of these. Roses, yes there were roses. Peachy coral roses and pink roses. Other than that, the carnations were white with red stripes. There were no daisy type flowers (I don't know the name of the ones in the picture.) The shape was not like this tight cluster of flowers; they looked like a whole different arrangement.

She was in the hospital and soon to be leaving so I asked to get a call if there would be a problem. I received a call about the possible difficulty getting the flowers to the hospital on time. When they delivered they had 3 of the 12 roses drooped over. 2 days later 6 of them were drooping despite cutting them again and changing water. After 3 days they were all dead, and none of them even tried to open. Must have been exposed to some harsh conditions prior to delivery, because they were brought in upon delivery. When I visit the stores I always leave satisfied with beautiful full flower arrangements and I never worry about the price and always tip $20 or more every purchase I make because the arrangements and the employees are always worth it. I used delivery service for the first time a day after mother’s and I was beyond disappointed with my order that has been delivered. Yes I understand it was the day after Mother’s Day but that should be no excuse for them to not be as beautiful and full as any other day I’ve been there. I was very disappointed. The delivery never happened and I had to pick up the flowers from your location. I was then told I could not get the delivery fee waived as "the driver attempted to deliver the flowers at noon but the recipient was not there to sign for them." She has never had to sign for the flowers before and also we were at the office at noon so obviously the delivery driver did not go to the office to drop them off. I will never order flowers from your company ever again and I will discourage anyone I know from ever buying flowers from your company.

The bouquet I received didn’t even seem like it was a larger bouquet than the one in the picture. I spent a lot of money to receive these two bouquet and I’m very disappointed I only received one. I picked out a bouquet for my wife to be delivered. I paid the 97.00 price on the internet and I was done with my order. About 20 minutes after i placed the order some chick calls me and tells me that they need 10.00 more. I asked her why? She tells me that she doesn't know, that they ( who ever they are?) The flowers were really nice. I have always liked D&L. The delivery was timely. The recipient was very impressed by the arrangement. My complaint is the $10.00 delivery charge. That is equivalent of 1/3rd the cost for the arrangement. I can have meals, groceries, etc, delivered for much less less than the flowers. Amazon and other internet site delivery is free, Your delivery charge is way over priced!

I made a mistake and ordered online. The actual flowers did not look anywhere close to the image online. I made a mistake to even go big: there is the standard, the next level, and then the full out level. I went full out for a flower order of almost $100 and felt ripped off. That's why people say order flowers from the actual store and indicate the exact one you want. This bouquet had the same amount of flowers as what is pictured here. According the description, each level would contain more flowers so it would appear fuller and more lush. Yea right. Never again will I invest so much money in ordering flowers online period. Perhaps, even ordering flowers at all. The worst part of it is that I don't get to see the flowers because I am not the recipient of it. It wasn't until I finally asked to see it (only a couple days post delivery) and it was weak. What I paid almost $100 for must have been the fancy huge vase it was in.

Ended up having to get a refund (Which I’m still working on) and ordered with D&L instead. I wish I had done that from the very beginning because it was simple, fast, and easy through them. When I saw this arrangement I loved it very colorful and bright and picked it for my mom for Mother’s Day. The cost of what I paid I didn’t mind but when I saw the picture of her arrangement that she received i was very disappointed. It was nothing close to what was on the picture. Her flowers weren’t blossomed it looked plain not bright at all. There were way more closed flowers then open ones so it made it look like more greenery then color.
