Cynthia's Flower Shop
For 32 years, I have been arranging flowers for weddings, family events, funerals and everyday occasions. In October of 1992 I opened Cynthia's Flower Shop, a local, full-service flower shop. I carefully handle each flower order to ensure the freshest and most beautiful presentation for your loved one, or for yourself. When you call Cynthia's, you will get someone on the line who understands flowers and will take special care in delivering your sentiment in the most artful and professional way. The arrangement was nice but had one exotic flower added that didn’t really go with the elegant arrangement. I know prices have gone up but arrangement was very small for $110. All they could say when I picked it up was yeah flower prices have gone up. Disappointed.

I was disappointed with this order. I have ordered this arrangement before and been very pleased with the product. This time the arrangement looked old and not fresh. In fact it was ready for the compost pile on Tuesday after being delivered on Saturday. Needless to say my wife was disappointed with her birthday arrangement.

Unfortunately I could not attend the service. I requested a photo of the boquet that I ordered be emailed to me, but I have yet to receive it. Also, I requested that the delivery be changed to 9:00am, today 12/3/24. But I never received a response one way or the other. When I placed the order I phoned, but I could not even get to leave a message ... the phone just kept ringing. I understand it was the day before Thanksgiving and they were probably busy. So I went online and placed the order. Tomorrow, I will call my cousin and ask if he saw the boquet I ordered. The flowers were an expression to my cousin's children that we will miss him and I wanted to make sure everything was done as I requested. I am disappointed that I was left out of the loop.

The funeral directors request that flowers for a 9:00 am service be delivered the day before so that they will be displayed before the family arrives at 8:00am. A beautiful basket was delivered at 4:30 pm the day before the morning service. A email was sent to you at that time. As far as the phone’s, we are in shop 9:00 to 5:00 to answer calls. We did not receive a call or voicemail. We did our job and did it well!

I’m disappointed. I upgraded to deluxe because I wanted a big lush arrangement and the picture I was sent was extremely underwhelming. This was sent to an ill family member who lives far away and this is my only way to be there with them so I spent the money. I do not think the arrangement that was received was worth the $230 dollars I spent!

Extremely disappointed with the flower arrangement that I ordered for my mother's bday. For $125 including delivery, I expected more. The arrangement was primarily fillers and greens with hardly any flowers and looked nothing like the picture. I took a chance having had no experience with this company and I wish I hadn't.

It was a very pretty corsage however it was much smaller than the picture showed. I really liked the blue incorporated into it but I wish I knew how small it was going to be so I could have ordered a larger size.

Interesting experience yesterday. Our corporate department ordered a peace lily plant for an Exec. VP to be delivered to her home. Her mother had passed away. Good thing I put my phone number in the order because the delivery driver started calling me several times named Steve, and he couldn’t find her house asking me where it was. Sounded like he wasn’t at the correct address. In my opinion, it was very unprofessional and I would of been embarrassed if he actually called this VP. I’ve had many wonderful experiences at Cynthia’s flower shop, and I am sure the plant looked good. Seemed to be a driver issue.

Unfortunately when I received the flowers it was nothing like the picture which was extremely upsetting. I talked to the manager and asked for something to be done since I paid a good amount of money and what I got was not anywhere worth it. The manager kinda offered to do another arrangement, although it did not look like the picture once again, it was beautiful. I’m grateful she helped me but I won’t be ordering from them again.

I found myself in need of flowers for a funeral on Feb 15th. I didn't think I would have a shot of getting in an order as I called the day beforehand on Valentines day but the staff assured me that it wouldn't be a problem at all and everything would be delivered on time.
Everything worked out and the arrangement looked beautiful.

I asked around in the Guilford/Branford, Connecticut area for a good local flower shop that could deliver a fresh Christmas arrangement for a particular day. Not only did it arrive on time, it was BETTER than the picture that described it (the recipient sent me a picture of it). And they kept me notified so that I knew they had my order, that it was then processed...but then they sent me another email to let me know it HAD been delivered as promised.

The flowers were very nice Thank you. However, The delivery person left the flowers and vase on the front step of the house. It rained on both and when my Mother found the flowers and vase box, they were both soaking wet. I believe you have the phone number of the recipient in your records. A simple call to let her know that no one was there to receive the gift and a reschedule or pick up time for the flowers would have been a better plan!

I ordered my flowers via your website on Sunday April 23rd. When I called your store around 2:30 pm on Monday April 24th I was told they never received the order. The person on the phone was NOT very nice about it. She made me think that I did something wrong even though I had an order # and email confirmation in front of me. She looked somewhere else and finally found my order. She then proceeded to inform me that they didn't have most of the flowers in the picture. My main goal was to get delivered that day since it was my mother's birthday so I asked her to just put together a $60 basket and include daisies. I do realize I ordered the day before but if you can't handle that then please don't allow it on your website. It was then delivered in 30 minutes and my Mom loved them so all was good. Will have to rethink whether to order direct next time and maybe just to FTD.
