Crickets Flowers

The goal is to exceed our customers' expectations with quality, value and professional service. Exquisite, Elegant arrangements with Distinctive Flowers! Master Certified Designer and an Advanced Tropical Designer on Staff. Cricket's Flowers over 40 years as a Local, Family Run Lexington, Ma Florist. Substitution Policy Occasionally, substitutions may be necessary to create your bouquet due to the availability of certain flowers in various parts of the country. Care is taken to maintain the style, theme and color scheme of the arrangement, using flowers of equal value. Additionally, the substitution of certain keepsake items may be necessary due to increased demand, especially during major holidays. In single-flower arrangements, such as an all rose bouquet, or orchids, we will make every attempt to match the flower type, but may substitute with another color. Delivery Policy We deliver same day if orders are in by 2pm Monday through Friday and 12 noon on Saturday, but can often handle last minute requests, call for more info. Special timed deliveries may cost extra, again please call us to find out.

Crickets Flowers is a locally owned, 2nd-generation family florist shop in historic Lexington, Mass. Established in 1981, Crickets (formerly the Lexington Flower Shop) is celebrating it's 43rd year under owners Frank & June Sarno. Ownership will be officially passed to daughter and master designer Anne Sarno-McIlwrath and husband/business manager in 2025. We truly enjoy helping our clients with all their floral needs, whether it's a simple arrangement or for an elaborate event such as a wedding. We will do our best to accommodate your needs, and suggest creative alternatives as well. We are proud members of the Lexington Chamber of Commerce and take pride in being active in our community. The environment is also important to us at Crickets. We have an active recycling program, including composting our floral and green waste, and using rain barrels in the spring and summer. We also have an organic cutting garden that we utilize for different foliage in floral arrangements during the summer and fall months. This is just a small part of what we do. We invite you to visit our shop, now conveniently located at 184 Bedford St. We always have a selection of pre-made arrangements to choose from, or we can design one for you take with you or have delivered. We also have candies and dog treats available. You can even get balloons or small stuffed animals to add to your order. Our subscriptions allow you to select a delivery frequency that best suits your needs - either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.
How often will I be billed?
You will be billed 5 days before the delivery schedule you select (either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly). This is to ensure your florist will have adequate time to prepare your order.
How do I make changes to my subscription plan?
You can call the florist any time before the scheduled delivery or pickup date to make changes to your subscription plan and orders.
Can I pause my subscription plan?
Yes, you can! contact us at (781) 861-1030, let us know the next best delivery date and we’ll pause your subscription.
How do I cancel my subscription plan?
We’d be happy to take care of that for you! Please contact us at (781) 861-1030 and we’ll cancel your subscription right away.

Excellent flowers in a beautiful vase (a large red one, unlike that shown in the picture). Ordered on Tuesday and picked up Wednesday, which worked out great. They even had a cardboard stand to put the vase and flowers into, which stabilized it for transportation. The flowers still look very good after 5 days. Will also be bringing back the vase so that others may enjoy it!

In the picture my friends sent to me, the roses looked beautiful but the presentation was very different than that depicted on your website. Instead of just roses and their leaves, the roses that were delivered were surrounded by filler greens. Instead of what looked like a tallish, dark vase, a shorter looking clear bulbous vase was used.
Most importantly, the roses were appreciated, but the arrangement didn’t look like what I had ordered. In that regard, only, I was disappointed. I thought you’d want to know.

Honestly, there is only one way to review the experience with a florist when you use them to send flowers to your mother for Mother's Day. And that's by the reaction of your mother! In this case I have to say that I'm extremely happy with my experience - or I should say hers! I asked for a non-fragrant bouquet because the recipient has allergies to fragrance. The bouquet was so fragrant he had to put it in another room and close the door. When I was taking it home to get it out of his office, on the way in the car the *fragrance* irritated my nose and by the time I got home I was sneezing and blowing my nose and my throat was starting to sting. Never again. twice in a row, the quality of the flowers was poor. I truly don’t understand, these are hand delivered and the shop is across town (it’s a small town). yet many flowers were dead/ and old and some broken. How any self-respecting florist, could even make such a poor $80+ flowers arrangement (that’s was a designers choice, meaning they supposed to use the freshest/seasonal flowers), is beyond me. clearly they don't care. this first time I thought ok, it can happen, but I stupidly thought I give them another chance. Now I look bad for sending a poor flower arrangement to my girlfriend.

This was the second order I have placed with Cricket flowers. Both arrangements were very nice and as compared to other florists I have used, seem to get more than your average for your money from Cricket. My only issue has been little details seem to have been overlooked on both orders. First was a lack of plant food to help the flowers keep (no big deal, they lasted long anyway) and more recently, this order, on the card there was a typo that I did not make. On my order, I had to type it, reconfirm the text on the card before placing the order and received a confirmation email documenting the correct text... but the card my wife received was still wrong. Luckily, we both have a good sense of humor but it's still unfortunate. Overall, will probably do business again, just with more oversight.
